Many thanks to DS Publishing and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
When I think of romance, think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect books to snuggle up with on any day. This one took by surprise!
I am so loving the Christian based atmosphere that Mr. Creative has going on. This was really a great book, the characters are awesome, fast paced read, page turner and waiting patient to read book 3 in the series.
Kivers Landry aka Mr. Creative is the founder of Creative Concepts. Kivers along with his friends from college own a company and want to grow their company and need financing. Lauralee Bergans is billionaire financial backer who helps companies grow and she the person Kivers meets with. When the two meet sparks are flying all over the place.
Will Lauralee invest in Creative Concepts, Will sparks continue between Kivers and Lauralee?
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book since it stated in the title that it is a ‘Finest Wholesome Romance’, but I have to admit that it does have some bright spots. Kivers aka Mr. Creative is on the hunt for someone to invest in his company in order to take it to the next level, and since this IS a romance, we know that he is also on the hunt for love. Does he find what he is searching for? Well, I guess you will have to read the book to find out. I thoroughly enjoyed the concept of the book and the fact that there is an emphasis on God and living in a positive way. I do wish that the book could have been a bit longer as I feel that things were kind of rushed, but all in all, it is a good read. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book.
Pastor Scroggins has done it again in a new series that will have you looking at perfecting your God given purpose in life.
The characters went through emotions that I and I'm sure others have gone through. I have fallen in love with this series, which is not just a Christian romance. There was the friendship aspect of the story as well as so many biblical truths and wisdom throughout the story. I could see this series as a movie, was not disappointed, and cannot wait for the next book in the series.
I received a copy of this book via booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review
DNF at 66%. I was super intrigued by the premise, and the plot itself was really interesting. I really wish I could’ve finished it for that reason. The characters were funny and relatable in so many ways. However, there were some aspects of their lives and conversation, both inner and outward that just wasn’t what I was expecting when I read that this was supposed to be “wholesome romance”. The characters are constantly thinking about not lusting, and then doing exactly that. The “s” term is thrown around many times. God is mentioned in almost every other sentence, but the actions....I really have a hard time describing it. Maybe because I also don’t ascribe to the way things are discussed theologically in this book. I don’t agree with a lot of book characters’ beliefs, and I’m fine with that, but it was so prominent in this one that finally I had to just put it down. I didn’t feel right inside to keep reading it. Thank you to NetGalley for providing a review copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Living a Godly Life in Today's World
This entire novella is based on being God's faithful servant. That means in all areas of life; in business, in romance, in family, and with strangers. The story shows these circumstances well, and gives the reader great examples to follow. Now, not all of us will be given the golden trail to follow to worldly goods, but all true believers will be led to the gold of the heart and soul. I loved this book for its timely and necessary message. I fit absolutely nowhere in this story, except for being a person of faith and this story touched me to the bone. I am going to be praying that this book is seen by the right people and I will be pushing it on social media to get the Word out there. Great Job! I received this ARC book for free from Net Galley and this is my honest review.
