The characters were well-developed, and I found myself invested in their lives. The plot was well thought out and had enough twists and turns to keep me on the edge of my seat. I appreciated the attention to detail, and the author did a great job of creating a vivid world that was easy to picture in my mind.

A very interesting book which explores how different perspectives can lead to a different interpretation of a shared experience. The characters are fascinating and to see their relationships change through the life of the book is a big part of this book’s appeal. I found the pace at times slow but nevertheless recommended reading for people who like mysteries which bring strong focus on characterisation. ,

I hate to say this was a DNF for me. This was the first book from this author and I just didn’t care for the writing style. Very detailed and long chapters….sorry to say started skimming and lost interest.
