A wonderful book filled with many life experiences. The characters are true to life and well depicted by the author. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

The blurb initially drew me in but once I actually started the book it was very difficult to finish it. The story takes place in NYC during the holiday season which is truly a magical time full of love and joy (talking from someone who moved to NYC from the south). The author does a fantastic job building up the characters, I was less than a quarter of the way in and I know just how much Charlotte and Ethan have lost and what they are experiencing. And although the storyline as a whole was beautiful, the story was very wordy and difficult to get through. I'm not sure if the formatting was off but there was no breaks, the story went straight through. It was often confusing when switching between characters.
