This was a very good look at a dysfunctional family through a child’s POV. It was well written and very insightful.

This book is heartbreaking. It is everything you thought you knew about alcohol and drug addiction and more. The fact that it is from the perspective of a teenage child feels rather done, but this tale has a sense of grit to it. making it feel more raw and real
