Meet Me in the Margins was a cute contemporary romance. I wouldn't consider this Christian fiction, just a clean read.
I thought the characters were fine. I liked the plot and how the main characters "met in the margins". The romance was likeable. I didn't care for Savannah's family or the way they treated her.
All in all, Meet Me in the Margins was an enjoyable read. The audiobook was read very well and made this a quick read.

This was such a fun, whimsical, bookish romance! Loved the banter and wit between the two leads, and it was a really cozy escapist read.
3,75 stars.
To me, it’s a cute and heartwarming read, but also one that feels like it's kind of a dime in a dozen, you know?
It was a fun in between read, but it didn’t really stood out to me in a way that made it really unique and just a tad more special to me personally. This isn’t a bad thing perse, because I liked reading it so there’s that.
If you like these kind of romances, it’s definitely a fun one to pick up though!
Fun and escapist. A recommended purchase for collections where contemporary romance and lighter WF is popular.
I always love any book that is ABOUT books but this one just missed the mark for me. It was cute but cheesy, and felt overly long, considering the book's premise.
Light, quick, and cute but a bit predictable in the end. I enjoyed the setting and (somewhat) quirky, inviting characters but I felt the pacing was a tad slow for my liking and I wanted more from the romance. Overall, not a bad read but something I likely wouldn't recommend to a friend.
I liked this book at first. I even rated it 4 stars. But then I read some reviews in Goodreads and I sat with my thoughts and realized that I agree with those people.

The book had its flaws.
When I read the blurb I fell in love with it. Two people talking through the margins, giving advice, sharing opinions, moments, and experiences. Who wouldn't love it?
Even though I realized in chapter 2 or 3 who is the mystery editor. It wouldn't be romance, right?
Anyway, I didn't like the fact that other people, specifically the heroine's family, treated her. Her own sister is engaged to her ex! Her EX! They dated for 8 years but then once he had a moment with FMC's sister and then they dated for 3 months before they got engaged. And everyone, including our heroine, is okay with that! How is that okay?? This is one of the tropes that I HATE so even though I somehow managed it till the end it still made me angry that they just brushed this off. Talk about keeping it in the family.

Meet Me in the Margins was a cute book but the more it went closer to the end the more I realized that it doesn't exactly fit my style. I like a little or a lot of smut and this book only includes one kiss at the very end of the book that lacks emotions. It was like watching the paint dry.
I guess it might be a hit with people who like clean romance, for me it was just another miss.
I lowkey want to love it because the overall premise felt promising. The fact that I'm also in the publishing industry and the references in here was pretty spot on.
I think what turned off for me was the romance overall. It felt flat and there was something off about the writing that made this book felt a bit draggy. I was a bit sad because I loved reading books in the publishing world. Its still okay for a good read but it was not one for me unfortunately.
2.5🌟
This book was a great quick read for me, exactly what I was expecting and wanting from it. I loved the lighthearted, G-rated feel of this book - it kind of felt like reading a Hallmark movie, which can be just what you need to decompress sometimes. Definitely read this if you're looking for an easy romance read because it will give you just that!
Fun!
I quite enjoyed the premise of an author and editor secretly exchanging notes in the margins of a manuscript. The characters were quirky and delightful. This book also had an interesting take on multi-tasking. This was a sweet read, I'd rate PG for kissing.
The file I received was an absolute nightmare. I waited until it came out at the library and checked out both the audiobook and the ebook. I tried several times to get into the book, but the beginning was just really slow for me. But my 16 year old daughter devoured it and LOVED the entire book. I may give it another try in the future, but for now it just wasn't for me.
This is my first book by this author and I’m very interested in reading more. I love books about books I really enjoyed this book being set in the publishing world. I did not care for Olivia Savanna’s sister or the way she treats Savanna. She did redeem herself at the end when she realized her mistakes. Savanna’s journey was fun to follow and seeing her realize her dreams and discover herself was amazing. I was so happy when it was discovered that Will was the secret editor reading Savanna’s book.
I couldn’t get into this one. Might pick it up another time, but right now it doesn’t seem to be catching my attention! I love reading books about books, so I’m sure that at the right time, I’ll love this!
Adored!! Oh how I adored this book!! I loved the characters that you fall for, the plot and just everything. Cannot recommend it any higher!
This book was a good read, however it didn't quite hook me like other books within this genre. I would still recommend it though!
This book is a must-read for anyone who loves a good romance novel with a twist. The characters are well-developed, and the plot is captivating. Overall, Meet Me in the Margins is a heartwarming and charming story that will leave you feeling happy and satisfied.
I surprisingly loved this book but it was also very mid overall. I am giving it 4 stars because it was witty and original but somehow flat and the writing wasn't the best.
I think this story had elements that separately would usually be something that I would enjoy, but there is just something about the way that this story works together that unfortunately didnt really work for me. I just truly dont think that I am the right reader for this story to fully enjoy it, but I definitely see why someone else really would based on the elements.
This was a cute, closed-door romance set in the world of a small publisher. The environment of the publishing house was really interesting to me and I wish the story focused more on that aspect than the really random and unnecessary aspect of fatphobia and body shaming that the two sisters focused on throughout the "fitness" challenge. The family toxicity also really threw me off and they all really need a lot of therapy.
The romance was paced well, even though the male MC did feel a little stalky in the beginning, always showing up where she was and popping in to take her places, even though he's her boss. 2.75 stars.
This book sounds so cute when read the description, but as soon as I started the book I could tell it was going to be one of those ridiculous novels. The rude man and the accident prone I’m trying so hard but everything is going wrong types. She was SO annoying! And I hate to say it but I actually had to force myself to read. This was not a story hat made me excited to sit down with it.
