Both heart breaking and heart-warming, this story really does have it all. A tortured soul who desperately wants love, a dark mysterious stranger who wants nothing to do with love at all and a slightly mysterious island makes for an enticing combination. The characters grab your attention and the romance is fun with just the right amount of conflict to make it worth it. You can’t go wrong with Lisa Kleypas for a rewarding and deeply satisfying read. This is one of her best series yet.
