I was not the target audience for this book, but if I were, I think I would have liked it a lot more. I think it will appeal to those who like realistic fiction and sort of like sports books. There were some cool scenes with investigative journalism as well.
Great book about two very competitive tennis friends, Andi and Jeff. Andi has a feel for the game and is blindingly fast. As the two play in matches one day, a recruiter tells Andi she has “star potential” and that she can make millions. Andi is 11 and shocked she would be approached at this young age. Come to find out it’s very common, and she and Jeff want to stop recruiters from stalking young girls by subverting the rules and paying players through their parents. Can they get a famous reporter to help them?
