Well written and exciting murder mystery. Victoria's sister has been murdered and she is allowed to be part of the team looking for the killer. Small town America where Rebecca should have been safe - not like Chicago where Victoria usually worked, yet here she is trying find her sister's killer in Hancockk where they'd both grown up.

This book hooks and intrigues you straightaway. It is about complexities of family relationships and for Victoria the main character having to face her demons to a home that she left for reasons none of us should have to suffer so that she can find who murdered her sister.
The author introduces a few characters that will definitely make you consider as suspects, I love a book that keeps you on your toes, I had my initial suspect from the beginning and I was right but I did question and change my mind a few times but the art of a great story teller is not allowing the reader to guess why the murderer did what they did, I would have never guessed the reason.
I could not put this book down which is a sign of a good book.
I look forward to reading more of this authors books.

Not to sure about this one, while the book had suspense, intrigue, action and a good who done it, it just didn't grab my attention?! My mind wandered off and I just wasn't that involved with the story?! It was an ok read, and worth reading but it wasn't my top favorites! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
