Love love loved The Casanova! Another brilliant book gem from T L Swan that I highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed! Enjoy!!
The Casanova by T.L Swan is book 3 in the Miles High Series. Each story is a stand-alone novel and can be read in any order. This is my first read by this author, and I'm intrigued.
This enemies to lovers series has it all. The development of the story was hilarious and then spectacularly romantic. The dreamer in me loved every second of it. Kate is not afraid to call out Elliot and his poor behavior. Elliot, like me is a dreamer. He is passion personified and lives it in everything that he does. There's no half of anything with this man, it is all or nothing.
That being said, my biggest thought at about 50% of this novel was, where is the conflict? When is the proverbial shoe going to drop, and when it finally did I was like well, are you really surprised? Actually no, I wasn't and I was ready to annihilate this review with how disappointed I was. But then, Ms. Swan made me fall in love again in about 30 pages flat. So well done, and worth every second of this read.
If you're looking for romance, you found it. This story is for the dreamers, the believers of a fairy tale, and for those who love, love.
I was provided an arc of this book by netgalley, in exchange of an honest and unbiased review.
Enjoy.
The Casanova is unputdownable and entertaining page-turner. TL Swan delivered an amazing enemies to lovers, office romance full of emotions. I laughed, I cried and there was even a moment when I got pissed while reading this book.
Kate and Elliot were such a fantastic couple. I cheered them on from the very beginning and was happy to see them moving towards happiness. It wasn’t an easy journey for them but so worth it in the end. If you like reading about strong, feisty heroines and sexy, grumpy heroes, then I highly recommend this book. The Casanova just made it to my list of favorite office romances.
Holy smokes! Elliot and Kate are on fire!
Elliot and Kate are pure hateful enemies right from the start, until a different perspective forces Elliot to view Kate in a whole new light. Even so, his pursuit of her starts off very selfishly, and I absolutely loved how she kept him on his toes and forced him to up his game. There are a couple truly laugh-out-loud moments as they dance around their new but undeniable chemistry, but the intensity and scorching hot attraction is always front and center.
It's been a long time since I've read a bosshole as reprehensible as Elliot. That the author was still able to show us his soft underbelly and redeem him in the end was nothing short of amazing. This is an office romance unlike any other I've ever read, mostly due to the unmitigated power and control that defines Elliot Miles.
Both Elliot and Kate have secrets, some more consequential than others. The shocking twist at the end was exquisitely executed and brought a level of sweet completion to their HEA that I didn't see coming. I savored every chapter of this fascinating story then promptly shelved it on my to-be-read-again list.
As a standalone, you don't have to have read either of the two earlier books, but they're just as good as this one and I highly recommend the entire series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I seriously love this book so much! I‘m so addicted to anything TL Swan!
The Casanova is another all new novel in the Miles High Club! This one is about Elliot who‘s the CEO of the UK devision of Miles Media and his „favorite“ employee Kathryn Landon.
These two are like fire and ice! Steamy, emotional and just so good! I could not stop reading their story. TL Swan always breaks our heart and then puts it back together as if she didn‘t stomp all around it for a long time!
5+++ ⭐️
“𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲… 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂”
Elliot is the CEO of the London headquarters of Miles Media where Kate is also the IT manager there. The two have absolutely hated each other for years until he sees her in a red dress and suddenly things change.
The first 30% was so much fun; the pure hate Kate and Elliot had for each other was hilarious, the banter and their chemistry was off the charts. The steamy scenes especially were so good because Elliot has such a filthy mouth
I really liked the progression of their relationship however Kate seemed to suddenly change from being such a fiesty and independent person to being completely love sick over Elliot and lost her backbone and ballsy attitude. She did eventually get it back in the end and really made him work for it. There was quite a significant plot twist that I did not see that coming at all like whoa.
Elliot took a while to grow on me and then around 80% he made a questionable decision which made me so frustrated with him. However having said that his overall development was nice to see and it was refreshing seeing how romantic and sweet he was with kate.
Overall this was a fun read with a great underlying plot, if you believe in fate and love some enemies to lovers then you’ll love this one!
*thank you so much netgalley, amazon publishing uk and t l swan for an arc in exchange for an honest review*

This was another read about an inter-office romance. I seem to have had a trend lately. I happened to like this one for the most part as there was the realization between both characters that there was more to them than they had thought. It was sexy, yet also had romantic wistful moments.
A happy surprise for me.
I just love the Miles' brothers and this book is Elliot Miles' story. Some people have a love/hate relationship, but Elliot "Casanova" Miles and Kathryn "Kate" Landon have more of a hate/hate relationship. Elliot refers to her as the wicked witch of the west while Kate refers to him as King A$$hole and the fun part is that he is her boss! The snark between these two is off the charts funny!
When Kate's roommates sign her up for one of those dating apps one drunken night under a funny, fake name, Kate decides to play along to prove a point. At the same time one of Elliot's brothers sees that someone has used Elliot's picture on their profile on the same app. In order to contact the app owner, Elliot has to create a profile and that is when the fun begins. Unbeknownst to each other Elliot and Kate start to connect. They have such fun, down to Earth conversations hiding behind fake names.
In the meantime, Elliot starts noticing Kate in a different way and starts pursuing her until she finally gives in. Things are going wonderfully until a recluse painter, Harriet Boucher, that Elliot is obsessed with is found, then everything goes downhill. It will take a huge effort for these two to get back together, but it happens in a wonderful way for the perfect happy ending.
I just loved Casanova by TL Swan which is the third book in the Miles High Club series. This steamy, enemy to lover, boss/employee story is perfect. The sassy banter between Kate and Elliot made me laugh out loud many times. I just adored both main characters as well and Elliot's brothers and Kate's friends. Overall this is a wonderful addition to this must read series.
Thank you netgalley for the e-arc! The Casanova was one of my most highly anticipated books of this year so I was absolutely stoked to read it. It’s the third book in the mile high club series by TL Swan (one of my fav authors for steamy romance!) And each book follows a different miles brother who are all swoon worthy in their own ways
Elliot is the CEO of the Miles Media UK and Kathryn is his head computer analysis in IT. This is your classic enemies to lovers, office romance. They both hate each other and aren’t afraid to make it known. But when Kate experiences a health emergency at work Elliot steps in to take care of her.
I’m not sure why but I had such a hard time connecting with Elliot & it was hard for me to find him likable. Maybe I was comparing him too much to Jameson and Tristian but his character kind of fell flat. I also feel like some parts of the story line didn’t really come together and it lacked the depth the other books had. Out of the other brothers books, I’m sad to say that this was my least fav.
It was still a good steamy read and I’d obviously recommend but it didn’t hit the mark for me. Although these can be read as standalones, I definitely recommend The Stopover first if you want to dive into the world of T.L. Swan. Also check out her Mr.’s series which in my opinion is even better than the Miles High Club Books.
T.L. Swan did not disappoint with Elliots story!! The Chemistry between Kate and Elliot is off the charts and spice is just *chefs kiss*!! I devoured this and if you like spicy romances with great characters you need to read this!
I really enjoyed this book. The ultimate Casanova Elliot Miles and the feisty Kate started off hating each other. Throw in a red netball uniform, some pain meds, a secret online chat profile and the situation starts to change! Some great chemistry between these two with some funny and sad moments thrown in as well as plenty of swoony moments all add up to a great story! Loved it! Would most definitely recommend!
OMG! I love this series so much! Another hot romance that I didn’t want to put down. The tension and chemistry between these two were off the charts! This was a enemies to lovers and neither one of them did anything halfway.
It made me smile, sigh and laugh out load. And then it made me crazy. You know those moments when you want to throw the book across the room? But overall the book was everything I needed. TLS always writes the best romance novels. I highly recommend this if you love angsty, stubborn sexy men and equally stubborn strong beautiful women.
Thanks Montlake via Netgalley.
A sensual romance that keeps the reader engaged to the very end. Fraught with loads of sexual tension, there is an undercurrent of fate that makes the story intriguing. Interesting family dynamics and friendships add dimension to a good story.
There was just something about this book that really hit me hard with all the feels. I love reading all the Miles brothers stories so far and Elliott’s story was no exception. I laughed, I cried and I loved every minute of it! I love how the characters intertwine from previous books and it just makes me want to go back and re-read all of them and to me, that’s a sign of a fantastic Author!!!!
Wow! T.L Swan kept us waiting for Elliot Miles book and boy did she deliver! This book is the third in the Miles High Club series and after the first two books, I couldn't wait for this one to be released! Elliot and Kathryn, aka Kate, have had a tense, no-nonsense relationship since the beginning of Kate's employment at Miles Media. Elliot was known as the Casanova, which led Kate to misconceptions about what was beneath his rough, playboy exterior. The fast-paced, witty banter between the two characters only escalated the more they became attracted to each other and began to teeter on crossing the line of the passion for the hate they developed for each other.
As the story progressed, you can see Kate melting at the compassionate, kind, generous person that Elliot is behind the exterior. Dare she think it's possible to fall in love with this man? Is she able to accept the challenges that come with being with the most eligible bachelor in town? You won't be able to put this book down once you start it!
Ahhh someone hold me please, because I cannot believe - I read The End, but still I can't get enough of Mr. Elliot Miles!
I was so impatient for this this book! Elliott Miles got my attention since the first time I've met him in this series. From that exactly moment I knew - when he will take my heart, it will beat for Him forever... Was there any suprise, after finishing The Casanova??? Definitely not. Elliott has owned my heart.
The Casanova is everything what I expected and so so SO much more! It was probably the most intense book from the entire series, if we're talking about emotional part. From the first pages author is throwing readers into deep water. There is no mercy, my dear Friends! The Casanova is full of angst, with sinfully delicious banter (AND CHEMISTRY) between main characters. I literally lived to hear how they are fighting with erach other, until tge moment when they starting to realize... that all they need is love!!!! These strong characters are the best kind of entertainment, You could only imagine. Adventure with Miles Family is like living daily on carnival haha
I highly recommend this title for every reader. Romances, written like TL Swan's ones... will never die, for sure.
A steamy read. The story is told in the voice of Elliot and Katy. Elliot is a playboy who has gotten tired of the lifestyle. He is slowly disengaging but doesn’t know what to do with himself. Katy works for Elliot and takes pleasure in making him angry. Their explosive angry relationship in the office moves to an explosive one in the bedroom. It is passionate roller coaster for two people who are both stubborn and want to do things their own way. You will find amusement at some antics (look for goats), and sigh at others. In the end it’s the old school romance that will get that tear in your eye.
A spectacular end to this trilogy
Elliot and Kate's love-hate banter throughout the book keeps you entertained there is never a dull moment with them. I appreciate having received an advanced reader copy from NetGalley of this book.
This is the third book in the Miles High series and oh boy what a story.
This book has got to be one of my favourite books of the year, I don’t think I’ve laughed out loud at a story like I did this one, this book has it all, a great story, great banter between the characters, some hilarious moments (the animals) of course the love story and a plot twist!
I was gripped from the first page and as soon as I’d finished I had to read it again because I enjoyed it so much and of course you get to see how Jameson and Tristan are getting on so that was a plus.
Sorry Tristan but you’ve been pushed to second place now as Elliot is my new favourite Miles brother, can’t wait to see what Christopher’s story will bring.
I received an ARC from Netgalley for an honest review.
I thought Tristan would forever be my favorite Miles brother, but I’m having to reconsider after reading Elliot’s story!
The Casanova is a billionaire, workplace enemies-to-lovers romance told in dual, alternating, first person POV. It is the third installment in the Miles High Club series, with each book following one of the four Miles brothers, and could be read as a standalone.
There were so many laugh-out loud scenes in this story, ranging from teasing banter among the Miles brothers to Elliot frequently getting flustered (especially when confronted by ducks – scenes that felt very reminiscent of Tristan’s early interactions with Claire’s sons in The Takeover). Second to the characters’ interactions, the beautiful places they visited were all so immersive and beautiful without leaving the reader feeling bogged down in description – a perfect balance. As for the romance, everything between Elliot and Kate was deeply emotional and poignant, to the point that I could feel their irritation with each other in the beginning, their heartbreak during the primary conflict, and most memorably their embarrassment when they were surprised by the whole Miles family during an intimate moment! I appreciated that Kate, despite being independent and strong-willed, wasn’t obstinate about Elliot’s wealth and the role it played in their relationship, as is so often the case in billionaire romances; she instead accepted his reasonable generosity humbly and without creating drama around it. There were a few secondary characters I had trouble connecting with and understanding in the beginning of the story, but by the end their personality and/or actions made perfect sense, so if you find yourself feeling that way, don’t give up because the payoff is worth it.
My two small criticisms have nothing to do with the story and were not significant enough to affect my rating. First, I always struggle with the formatting of the chapters told from the male perspective (all text is in bold); I realize this is T.L. Swan’s signature style, and she is still one of my favorite authors, but I can never quite adjust to this. Similarly, the formatting of text/messaging exchanges doesn’t always make it clear which character is sending the message. My second minor gripe is that the blurb doesn’t seem to quite match the story, but this in no way affects the story itself nor do I think readers are being misled to read something they won’t enjoy.
I highly recommend this beautiful, emotional, and endlessly entertaining romance to any reader who loves a good blend of steam, unpredictable plot, and well-developed characters, whether they have read the previous Miles High Club books or not. I’m already excited for Christopher to get his own love story in this series, and I can’t wait to see if he sticks to his plan to take a “gap year” away from his family and fortune when he’s ready to find love!
