*I received this ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.*

TL Swan has perfected the romance and the humor for all her books. Her men can swept you off your feet and make you laugh out loud.

This book is about Elliot Miles and Kathryn Landon. One of the Miles Brothers.
Boss / Employee trope. Enemies to lovers. From the get go, grumpy Elliot and feisty Kate, hated each other. One time, Elliot saw Kate differently and he got interested and The fun, sarcastic banter started.

What I like about the book is Kate, she was bold knows what she wants, holds her conviction and made Elliot work for it. On the other hand, Elliot is a mystery. He was called a Casanova, but it didn’t show how he was as a passionate man towards a woman, but rather passionate with other things like the arts and fate. I hated his “what if” moment but I think he really regretted it.

There are many things going on inside the book like the secret identities of the main using a dating app and the secondary characters with hidden motives which for me is kind of predictable and confusing. The other characters from the recent books made cameos adding lively humor to the story. I am quite interested with Christian’s book in the future. Overall, a fun, steamy book to read.

This book is so funny, sexy and just what I needed to get my weekend MOJO going. When you read a TL Swan book you know you are going to get a sexy alpha and a lot of steamy good times and this book doesn't disappoint. I love the humor in this book as well which brings a bit of reality to. I hope she makes this into an audiobook because I can't wait to hear his sexy voice!

A couple months ago I discovered TL Swan and I devoured ALL of her books within a month. Needless to say, I was left wanting more! I couldn't wait for The Casanova to come out and was thrilled to see it available on NetGalley - score!

The Casanova is the third installment of the The Miles High series. Elliot Miles is one of four Miles brothers and is the CEO of Miles Media in the UK. He has been famously dubbed "The Casanova" as he can get any girl he wants and can make them do whatever he wants. Because he seems to be popular tabloid fodder, he tries to lead a private life. Deep down inside, he is a hopeless romantic and wants to find his fantasy girl - a woman that's extraordinary and just out of his reach. Elliot is an avid art collector and find himself drawn to one woman's artwork - no one knows who she is but she goes by the name Harriet Boucher.

Kate Landon is whip smart and runs the IT department at Miles Media. For seven years she's bumped heads with Elliot and is his arch nemesis. She hates Elliot with a passion and lives to torment him. Still grieving over her parents death, that happened many years before, she tries to make herself as invisible as possible - she hides behind an unkempt appearance and dowdy clothes. She puts all her energy into working and not much else.

One night after work hours, Elliot spots an attractive woman in a netball dress dancing in the copier room. He's bewildered when he realizes that the woman is Kate! He hasn't been that attracted to a woman in a long time and he doesn't know what it means. It doesn't help that Kate's new flatmate Daniel, a fashion stylist, says that enough is enough and gives Kate a complete makeover. Kate walks into Elliot's office the next day looking smoking hot and the attraction between them is palpable. Still confused about his feelings about her, he doesn't act on it - that is, one day, he finds Kate passed out at work from taking strong painkillers. He takes her home and realizes that he's really attracted to her.

They start seeing each other on the DL and both agree that their relationship is merely casual. It quickly goes beyond that and they end up falling for each other. The moment Elliott realizes that he is in love with her, he gets news that his private investigator has identified and located the elusive artist he's been obsessed with over the years. He's shocked when he finds out that Harriet is beautiful and young and happens to be the woman he often sees at art auctions and has been chasing for years. Always the dreamer and fantasizer, Elliot is torn because he loves Kate but he is firm believer in fate and needs to know if Harriet is the one that he's been meant to be with. If she is, what does that mean for him and Kate? Does Kate get her happily ever after?

I don't know how Swan does it, but she can tell a unique, engaging story. She has a way of sucking you in to the point where it's impossible for you to put down the book.. I love her writing style and loved that the book was told in dual POVs (Elliot's and Kate's). The plot was a bit rushed in my opinion (but still excellent) and felt that the character development for this book wasn't as strong as her other books. I still enjoyed this immensely and and will be waiting with baited breath for hopefully a fourth book to come out for Christopher Miles!

Thank you, NetGalley, Amazon Publishing UK and TL Swan for providing me with an eARC in exchange for my honest review.

The Casanova was the first book I’ve read by TL Swan and I loved it! It was sweet, sexy, and swoon worthy! Elliot and Kathryn were such fun characters to watch grow and evolve. I found myself laughing out loud so often while reading this one. And that ending! The angst had me flipping pages so quickly! I had to know what was going to happen. This was the third book in the series, but I didn’t feel like I was missing anything reading this as a stand alone. I will definitely be going back and grabbing the first two to read. A great one to add to your TBR!

I had read the Takeover and loved it, so I was super excited for this book as well, a few days before I saw that it was available for reading now on Netgalley so I decided to read it immediatly. I am sad to say that I was bored within the first couple of chapters and was realizing slowly that I was not enjoying this as much as The Takeover.

T L Swan has done it again. She waved another Miles tale full of humour, hotness and love. From enemies to soulmates, Kate and Elliot's story was full of little twists and turns, pulls and pushes and entertaining as hell.

Gah Elliot Miles! I am a huge fan of TL Swan books. That translates into I'm a huge fan of TL Swan's leading men..I never thought any other man could be as dreamy as Jamison Miles or as funny as Tristan Miles. Elliot Casanova Miles more than delivers; he hits it out of the park. The chemistry between Elliot and Kate Landon sizzles. And Elliot almost kindled my kindle! In a word, I was "enchanted."

DNF @32%. I just couldn't get past some of the immaturity (grown adults squeamish about tampons?) or toxic messaging (lots of fat-shaming, objectifying, and disparaging women's bodies).

Wow, so good! I’ve just finished ARC copy provided by the publisher of The Casanova via NetGalley and I didn’t think TL Swan could come close to The Takeover, (my favourite TL Swan book) but she did. Kate & Elliot totally drew me in and the story took a different twist from what I expected after having read book 2 of the Miles High Club. Kate is a hopeful romantic and it turns out that Elliot is a romantic too, well hidden under a very grump boss and also is an alpha idiot at times. I’m glad the painter part of the storyline worked out the way it did and that the characters from the first 2 books returned. 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥

ARC REVIEW

OMG, I think it’s the best book by T.L. Swan I’ve read so far. It had everything in it and I don’t think there’s anything missing. I’m swooning over this story.

This story starts as enemies to lovers, boss employee story. Kathryn works as IT team manager for Elliot’s company. Kathryn loathes him and his Casanova/asshole behaviour, Elliot looses his patience with her some times too. Yet in no time they start no strings attached relationship and let me tell you it’s one of a kind relationship that is slowly changing for both of them.

I loved everything in this story, their banters at the beginning that were also present throughout the whole book, their chemistry and the pace of their relationship. I even laughed out loud in some scenes and there were also moments when I had tears in my eyes. This story gave made me fell so many things and made me swoon over how perfect Elliot is. He’s the guy that will give you the world and even more. I loved Kate so much, too. She was this perfect woman, confident one that didn’t let anyone stop her.

This is the book that I’ll definitely recommend for as long as possible.

Thank you Netgalley for the copy.

I had loved The Takeover (Tristan Miles) book so much and we had seen Elliot fascination for a certain Artist.

Elliot is named as a Casanova by the media, he despises it and would try his best to keep his love life from media so that it won't be ruined. He is cold and grumpy but once you pass his defences you would see an amazing and kind human being.

Kate had become another person after personal loss. She is intelligent, smart, sassy and doesn't fall over Elliot charms like every other woman.

I loved KateElliot bickering so much and their attraction, sexual tension is beyond words. The way they both had dealt with their own insecurities and the hardships by the end is so amazing.

I am so excited for Christopher Miles book

Elliot Miles has met his match in his IT Manager Kathryn Landon. For years they have despised each other until one night they connect and romance and hilarity ensue!
This is the third instalment in the Mile high club and I love them! Funny and steamy and I look forward to the next one. Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for this arc in exchange for my honest review.

I've been wanting to read a book by T. L. Swan for the absolute longest time, so when I saw this big boy in NetGalley, I snatched it right up and read it the first chance I got! And, let me say, I totally get the hype! I remember when the first book just came out and I saw it all over bookstagram and since this is the third in the series, I missed the other two brother's stories but I still really enjoyed this book either way!

To start, this book was definitely exciting, with some awesome banter between Kate and Elliot. Hate to love does that, that is why I love it so. So we begin with Kate and Elliot being total enemies and Elliot is Kate's boss at his family's company. They hate each other's guts, it's wonderful, we love seeing them get at each others throats, until one day, Elliot realizes Kate's "hotness" and can't think of anything else! To say this book was exciting is an understatement. The amount of ups and downs and the roller coaster ride is just so dramatic, I was here. For. It. *Imagine me clapping my hands with each word, thanks!*

Also, this book was hot. Bring a firefighter hot. Sinfully hot. Just plain HOT. and I loved that aspect, the steamy scenes where super well written! Plus, Elliot is just the best character, hot and sweet and loving and passionate and oh so very driven by fate, but we love him anyway!

So go read this one! You'll love it <3

Out on August 26, 2021!

ARC received from Netgalley and author/publisher in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way.

The Casanova by T.L Swan is sweet, funny and romantic read. It was honestly really funny, i didn't expect it to make me laugh out loud. I loved Kathyrn, it was refreshing how confident and bold she was. I liked how she stood up for herself and didn't given in easily. Elliot's and Kate's chemistry was off the charts, the sex scenes were very steamy and they were well suited for each other.
I didn't like Eliot's character that much, i was hoping for him to get a character development but it came too late. I didn't like how he treated Kate, confusing her and leading her on. He didn't even know what he wanted; he wanted Kate to call him his bf but when she did he got weird. And the most disgusting of all he left her. Just like that. You can't just leave relationships because you think there might be something better out there
But i liked how Kate fought him and made him wait. I think Kate deserved better.
I've read the author's other books which were amazing and honestly i was expecting something better.
The only reason I'm giving this book 3 stars is that it was funny anf I loved Kate's character!!

This was honestly the best book in the series. I started reading it this morning and didn't stop until I finished it.

My favourite thing about these books will always be the humour. TL Swan has such great comedic timing and some scenes had me almost in tears with how much I was laughing.

My one problem with this book is that although I loved both Elliot and Kate I was rooting for her to leave him. I still am actually. I can write a ten-page essay on why she should have never forgiven him.

This is the third book in The Miles High Club series, and it did not disappoint! T L Swan has done it again! This series is such a guilty pleasure for me. The Stopover was my favorite in the series, but now I’m not too sure. I really enjoyed Elliot’s story, and I didn’t see the end coming (that’s all I’m going to say). I’m just sitting and waiting for Christopher’s story now.

Kate’s favorite hobby is to infuriate Elliot Miles, her boss. They both have grown to hate one another ever since Kate started working for him years ago. However, she begins to see changes in Elliot’s behavior. He can’t take his eyes off her, and isn’t the same Elliot Miles anymore to her. She wonders what made him lose his hatred for her in the first place.

This book was a wild ride! I had issues with some parts of the book, mainly because there were moments where it was repetitive. I was frustrated with Elliot about 50% of the book due to his anger problems. T L Swan had my jaw to the floor when all the loose ends were getting tied up! Overall, it was just as enjoyable as the other two in the series. (Also, steamier!) I hope there’s another book with Christopher’s story because I would love to see more of him!!

T.L. Swan never disappoints what a heartfelt, funny and beautiful book I loved everything from the characters to the dialogue one of the best romances I read this year .

The book blurb:

My favorite hobby is infuriating Elliot Miles. God knows how he earns his Casanova reputation—if a million women want him with his personality, what the heck am I doing wrong?

Disgusted with my love life, I join a dating app under a fake name. I start chatting to a man named Edgar. He’s not my type and lives on the other side of the world, but we hit off a friendship, laugh and confide in each other.

Edgar and Elliot... so different but both so much in my life....

I haven't read any of this author's books before so this was a happy surprise. The book is funny, steamy and romantic. It's a stand alone so I was able to follow it even though it did mention the rest of Elliot's family. A fun way to spend the time.

Thanks to the publisher for providing an arc.

My love for Tristian Miles is widely known by my community and friends. Also my level of fangirling for TL Swan is very high, so I have been eagerly awaiting ARCs for this book for ages. The Takeover was my favorite read of 2020. So anticipation was high.

One of my absolute favorite things about reading a TL Swan book is the callbacks and cameos of other characters. All her books connect or take place in the same world and that makes being a dedicated fan very rewarding.

I was very intrigued to read about Elliot, who we know has a not so secret obsession with a certain artist in a previous book. So I was not expecting his love interest to be Kate, one of his employees and the bane of his existence.

Kate is trying to come out of a funk after some personal loss in her past and her boss is just always on her case. They get off on the wrong foot from day one, and now, years into their acquaintance that have this aversion to each other that is a bit out of control.

One day Elliot observes Kate over the security cameras dancing at the copier and he starts to look at her in a new way. And when Kate goes through a health issue at work, it puts them in even closer proximity together and Elliot just can't stay away from her.

This was another great entry to the series and in the interest of keeping this spoiler free I won't say much more. But I was pulled into their romance and I loved how they navigated everything.

There was a decision that Elliot made that almost lost me for good. No joke, but his grovel was pretty epic and some of the reveals at the end made up for it. They may have been a BIT too convenient but it is a romance after all.

5/5 stars.

P.S. Tristian is till my favorite Miles brother and Jameson is still a dick.
