I am rating this a three because there were so many times I wanted to stop reading this book but I could not. I didn't care for the characters but I wanted to see what happens to them. When they were good together, it was great!

At first, I had a hard time getting behind the chemistry of Kate and Elliot because they were so awful to one another and hated each other. It took me awhile to like Elliot's character and find what Kate saw in him besides his good looks. That was until he decided to leave her to go find out if he had true feelings for another woman he was lusting over. I found him utterly unlikable after he didn't have the integrity to tell Kate what he was doing and why. It was immature and selfish and I was so behind Kate refusing his apology and going off to find her own happiness. He did redeem himself some by giving her space and writing to her everyday.

My favorite part of this book was Elliot's beautiful and enchanted farm with guard ducks, an amorous goat, and a murderous ram, as well as the two secret identities with hilarious screen names from a dating site. These humorous side stories made up for some of my issues with the book, but just wasn't enough to have me truly like the book enough to recommend it to others.

Elliot is the CEO of Miles Media and a man who is used to getting what he wants both personally and professionally. He is well accustomed to the battles that he often finds himself in with Kate but when he unexpectedly sees a different side to her he is intrigued except a different complication arises when he starts to see her as a woman rather than his irritating employee.

Kate handles IT at Miles Media, and she has perfected the art of annoying him. She finds him entitled, confident and he infuriates her like no other. Although their reasons are very different neither is looking for love or a relationship but every time they are together the sparks fly and the parameters of their arrangement get pushed a little more until Elliot makes a choice that could destroy everything.

The banter between them is entertaining and the chemistry is hot. The one thing these characters do is make you feel especially when it comes to Elliot as at times he will make you swoon and at times you will want to push him out the door but in the end he does atone for his actions.

The Casanova by T L Swan is the Third book in The Mile High Club Series. This is the story of Elliot Miles and his path to love. Kate works as the IT manger in the Miles Media corporation so she and Elliot work together but they always butt heads. Kate as a issue from her past that still really is working on her until this day so along with that had her dislike for Elliot she just won't give in to her feelings for him. Elliot too was on board the hate train but then he caught a glimpse of Kate in a new light and now he just burns hot for her. Loved their story and will be looking for more from this author.

Holly steamy hotness. I knew this book was going to be steamy when I started reading it, but I was so not prepared for it. lol Elliot and Kate's sexual tension was so strong, I could even feel it and man was this story funny as well. I loved their banter and bickering, and the jealous surges even when they are supposed to hate each other. I had to read this book in one session, because I could not put it down, but I so needed a cold shower afterwards. This is another amazing story by TL Swan.

Another amazing book by T L Swan!
Elliot Miles, head of the London office for Miles Media is known for being powerful, cold, and a womanizer. Kate, his IT manager hates him! He is rude and arrogant. She spends her time at work doing everything she can to get under Elliot's skin. Elliot doesn't much like her either until he sees her in her office through the security camera in a red dress and suddenly he becomes infatuated with her. I'm thinking stalker tendencies there! When she passes out from a bad reaction to pain meds because of menstrual cramps, another lol moment, he rushes to her aid. Going as far as carrying her home and staying with her until she wakes up.

This starts the romance that at first Kate is completely against but Elliot pushes until he gets his way. They talk for hours and are extremely happy until Elliot finds the woman he has been looking for for years. He leaves Kate to see if the woman he thinks he has a connection to is really the one. If he doesn't go, will he always have doubt with Kate? Will Kate wait around until he decides?

TL Swan knows how to bring the spicy and sizzle to the pages. I adored this concept and lived for the banter between Elliot and Kate. Quirky, unique and a fun read from start to finish!

A steamy enemies to lovers trope that checks all the boxes for tension, chemistry, and banter. Overall a solid romance that lovers of this trope will devour.

An enemies/hate to love trope. This has a lot of potential, but didn’t hit the mark for me. It started out with witty banter and made me laugh.
Elliot Miles is a brilliant uber-successful titan of industry. Not only is he a brilliant businessman, but he is gorgeous, knows it and has women throwing themselves at him on the regular, hence the moniker “The Casanova”. Kate, the queen of sarcasm run the IT department in his company. They cannot be in the same room without going at each others throats. Clearly we think we know what is coming. Witty, snarky sarcastic banter that will eventually lead to a HEA. A tried and true theme for a reason. Not this time for me. Both MC’s take a turn and become shadows of their former selves and not terribly likable. It had potential, but I struggled to finish it. Not my favorite by this otherwise fabulously fun author. Yes, we get the expected HEA, but by them I wasn’t all that interested.

Eliot and Kate might be my new favorites. This book was the perfect enemies to lovers with all the banter it entails while also keeping it sweet with the messages through the online dating website. I loved this book even when I wanted to slap them both silly.

I love T.L. Swan. I mean sometimes she makes me so mad, but her books always make me so happy by the end. The Casanova was no different. Loved. This. Book! Elliot and Kate were wonderful. I couldn't put it down. This is definitely one of my favorite series!

Elliot owns the company where Kathryn works. She detests Elliot and is constantly at odds with his ideas. Elliot feels the same way about her until he sees her after Daniel has done a make over on her. Daniel is the new roommate and is trying to impress future clients. He asks Kathryn to go to a formal party and he is paying for the dress and hair style. Daniel is floored when he finds out Elliot is her boss and wants to make a good impression. Elliot is amazed at the new Kathryn. Neither Elliot nor Kathryn has a long-term commitment in mind. It is fun to see their relationship develop. This is a steamy romance novel with dates only the rich could afford, an interesting family both by blood and the family Kathryn has in her roommates. Lots of surprises and I really enjoyed the read.

I never got into any of the fifty shades books, even after trying multiple times to read them, but THIS, this is what I wanted and needed. It's my first T L Swan novel I've read, and she has me hooked.

This novel was the perfect blend of smut for me, and I don't at all feel guilty for reading it on lunch breaks at the office.

Oh, how I am loving this series. T.L. Swan is seriously knocking it out of the park. Each of The Miles High Club books just absolutely brings all the things for me.

I love Kate and Elliot. I mean, there was a point where kicking Elliot's balls until they came out his nostrils was a very serious option, but he did make up for it.

The Casanova had some of my fav tropes:
- Boss and employee
- anonymous online chatting
- quirky family
- quirky animals
- secret backstory connections

Kate and Elliot have had a seriously antagonistic relationship at work from the start. Elliot is so used to women being inappropriate that he doesn't even register the comments or people as he swiftly slaps the comments away. An early mistaken comment sets the stage for a long-standing contentious relationship between the two. It isn't until Elliot sees a bombshell (that just so happens to get every single engine firing on all cylinders) one afternoon on the security cameras that he shocks himself out of the lenses he's always viewed Kate through. Then he can't stop seeing her that way. A medical mishap has Elliot and Kate continuing to change their long-standing views on the other. Can they get over the past and find a new future together?

This series continues to really bring it for me. I laughed, got angry, frustrated, and then properly melted for the swoony groveling that ensued. Man, I love a good grovel. So, it just brought all the things for me. The brothers' Miles continue to be there for each other supporting and razzing in equal measure. Elliot's "estate" was a constant source of hilarity, I can't even describe how much I enjoyed all the goings-on of its "inhabitants". The smexy times were super smexy. And yeah, as I mentioned before, I totally could have kicked Elliot's ball up through his nose, but he did properly repent.

Kate is a great character that didn't settle and simper when crap got tough. I always enjoy a strong female lead. Oh, and I just love the discovered/uncovered connection between Elliot and Kate. Plus, ya' know, Kate's sister finally getting her just desserts weren't bad either.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with this series and I cannot wait for Christopher's story. I have a feeling he's in for a doozy. = )

I enjoyed this book even though I hadn't read the first two of the series. It was boiling hot, steamy, sexy, & intriguing. Elliot was the stereotypical male character being strong, seemingly egotistical, & domineering. Kate wasn't as stereotypical because she is strong, independent, & successful in her own right. They have hated each other at work for years. The way the sparks start flying is amusing & I highly recommend reading this to find out what it is & what happens in their journey.

A spectacular book that got me out of a reading rut! And I am so thankful to the author for providing me with an ARC.

I had read the first book of The Miles High Club a year back and had been waiting for the next books to drop in before I continued the series. But here I am having read the second and the third book in a span of two days.

T.L. Swan is hands down a great writer-incorporating all the elements I want in a book namely, romance which at times is angsty and others sweet, scorching hot sex scenes, arrogant controlling alphaholes.

This book was indeed a fairytale and even though there were too many plot twists that I was able to know beforehand I simply loved it!

I say this every time I read a Miles book and I am saying this again- but this miles brother is my fav, maybe my opinion will change once Christopher's book drops in...hehe...

The only thing about the book that bothered me was the Synopsis, according to me it is a bit misleading.

I have an unhealthy relationship with TL Swan’s books. I discovered her on Kindle Unlimited during the height of the pandemic when I was desperate for reading material, and I read every single book she had written. Her books range from slightly cringy trash to absolutely horrible/borderline disturbing nonsense. I can’t figure out what it is that keeps me reading, though. If it’s a TL Swan book, you can expect the following things:

The female romantic lead will giggle incessantly and try to make the male lead jealous after every fight.
The male romantic lead will sneer (constantly. Seriously, does she not have any other verbs to use?) and have insane anger problems that lead him to scream and throw tantrums.
There will be one extremely reductive gay male best friend who only serves to say bitchy things and egg the female character on
There will be no less than five knock-down, drag-out fights, where the characters show they have the emotional intelligence of a toddler. Which, actually, might be offensive to toddlers.
The romantic relationship between the leads will be wildly dysfunctional and abusive, making me question whether Swan has any business being involved in the mental health profession.
Finally, the expression “a freight train of an orgasm” will be used. Without fail. Possibly more than once.

Knowing all of that, you might be wondering why I requested an ARC of the third book in the Miles High Club series. A small part of me is afraid to delve too deeply into why I read her books, but that’s a problem for another day. No, the main reason why I requested book 3 was simple. Book two was actually kind of wonderful.

The Takeover, featuring Tristan and Clare, was charming and funny, with actual character development and a plot. I loved the dynamic between Tristan and Clare’s three sons and was desperate for more of them in book 3. I thought perhaps this was a sign that her writing had significantly improved and more good books would follow, but I was mistaken.

This book was predictable, far-fetched, and had all of the hallmarks of classic Swan literature mentioned above. The set-up in The Takeover could have led to SUCH a great story, so I was highly disappointed by the follow-through. I will give it two stars because I finished it, but that’s incredibly generous. I must be a glutton for punishment because I will probably read the fourth and final book, but I’ll probably be hate-reading it the whole time.

Many thanks to Netgalley for sharing a digital reviewer copy with me in exchange for my honest thoughts.

This is the first book I read from TL Swan. It did start of slow and I wasn't sure if I was going to continue reading it, but I decided to continue on and BOY am I glad I did! I loved this book and cannot wat to read more of TL Swans books! The characters had amazing chemistry, Elliott is the head of Miles Media, UK and is Kate is a very strong independent woman. Their banter back and forth is hysterical and it made this book perfect. I loved Pinkie Leroo and Edgar Moffatt’s part in this story and Elliott’s brothers are so great together especially the day they came for a surprise visit on his birthday. I cannot forget to mention the crazy ducks & other animals that came with Elliot's new house, much to his surprise! I did not want this story to end!!
