I really loved this book by a new to me author. Lots of emotion and laughs. I need to read the rest of the books in this series!

Earlier this year I got hooked on The Miles High Club and I have not looked back since.

In the third instalment of the series, Elliot Miles (head of the London branch of Miles Media) goes head to head with Kathryn Landen, a woman who knows what she wants - and it isn't him. But their office rivalry goes from hate to love and both of them are unsettled by the change. But the strain of keeping their relationship a secret from the paparazzi and the people who know them best catches up to them and they have to decide if what they feel for one another is worth it.

This was really fun. It's not my favourite in the series (The Takeover still holds that title), but I do enjoy a hate to love, office romance.

At the beginning of the novel we're introduced to Elliot and Kate and their acrimonious working relationship, and while he is an absolute jerk to her, she absolutely gives as good as she gets. A chance encounter outside the office and then an accident after hours in the office, and Elliot's beginning to question his feelings towards her. Both characters are bossy, independent, and don't like to show weakness in front of others. And while Kate is definitely the more stable of the two, as we spend more time with Elliot we start to see that he has a public image and a private life that he tries to keep separate. This causes tension, but also makes for some very swoon-worthy scenes.

That said, the third-act break up in this book is definitely not going to be to everyone's taste - throughout the series, we've known that Elliot collects artwork by a particular artist who's identity is unknown. He's spent the last few years building up an image of the woman in his mind and when he finally finds out who it is, he leaves Kate to chase her down. This was, admittedly, not my favourite thing in the book (but I saw it coming a mile off, along with the big reveal for who it was). The only redeeming quality was that he had to grovel his butt off to get her back (and everyone around him told him to his face that he was an absolute idiot).

T.L. Swan continues to impress, and considering this book is over 500 pages, her style is so good that it never feels like you're reading a tome.

Kate and Elliott’s story might just be my favourite in the series. Can easily be read as a standalone.
It’s a witty enemies to lovers read with that delicious TL Swan chemistry. Plenty of banter, a cast of characters I loved and an ending that made me smile. Definitely recommend.

Sadly, did not like this book. I didn't connect with the characters, and skimmed the entire book.

Flipping heck! This series just gets better and better. Book 3 sees Elliott Miles front and centre as he searches for his extraordinary. Could that be his archenemy Kate Landon? Head of IT in his London office. For 7 years they’ve despised each other, wound each other up, and argued at every opportunity. Until the red netball dress. A funny, super sexy and addictive read. I was laughing out loud throughout. Elliott was so funny, add in his brothers and I was in Miles heaven. I loved Kate’s passion and drive, and of course her smart mouth, she gave as good as she got. Together they were truly combustible, passion personified. Of course there’s a little added drama as well, and I’ve got to say, I did actually shed a tear or two. Let’s not forget the angry ducks and lustful goats and I was in my element. I loved it. I recently an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

The Casanova is book #3 in The Miles High Club series by author T.L. Swan. This is an enemies-to-lovers, office romance and can be read as a standalone. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading all the books in The Miles High series and The Casanova did not disappoint. This book had everything you could want in a T.L Smith novel. Drama, banter, chemistry and humor. This book had me laughing out loud at some of the scenes while feeling heartache in others. I don't know how she does it, but this Australian author gets better with every book she writes.
Elliot 'Casanova' Miles is well known for being an eligible bachelor and billionaire. This guy has women falling at his feet and could have anything he wants. Well, almost everything. What he wants is for the annoying woman in IT to stop giving him a hard time. It's been that way for seven years and he has never despised a woman as much as he despises Kate, even going as far as offering her whatever it takes to get her to resign. That is until he watches her dancing in the photocopy room and soon thoughts of hate turn to thoughts of lust. What happens when he makes his intentions known, will it end up blowing up in his face or will it be the best decision he's ever made?
Kate has been with Miles Media for seven years and has hated her boss since she's started. She gets a new roommate who insists on giving her a makeover and sets up a dating profile, which lifts her spirits. A feeling she hasn't felt since losing her parents. Things start to change when the boss she hates starts paying attention to her. But what happens when she learns that her boss happens to be the same guy she's been texting on the dating app?
I absolutely adored this story. Elliot was such an alphahole who turned charming, and although I hated how he hurt Kate, he redeemed himself nicely. Kate is a sassy spitfire but kind and caring. I loved their love-hate, push-pull romance. Think of those seven years as foreplay before they finally gave in to one another. I can't give this book enough stars as it was absolutely amazing, and did I mention that I adore the roommate Daniel? That guy is a character and could have his own book. Can't wait for more T.L. Swan.

This enemies to lovers romance is full of twists and turns, and it will rip your heart out, but I promise it’s worth it.
Does Elliot do stupid things that infuriate you? Absolutely. He is not perfect, but their love story is fantastic. Some elements of this book are a bit predictable, but as far as KU romances go- this one is top notch!

Was I ever thrilled to bits when Netgalley and TL Swan sent me this ARC to read! I totally adore everything TL writes and have especially enjoyed The Miles High Club series.

The Miles brother's are known for being gorgeous, powerful and arrogant and Elliot is more of the same well known for his glittering social life and the string of beautiful women on his arm that have earned him the nickname "Casanova". Kathryn Landon is his arch nemesis, in charge of the office computer systems and indispensable to his company, unfortunately she is also the person who gets on his last nerve and makes his life at work hell. Kathryn hates him in return and gives as good as she gets in their office war of words.

While checking his security system Elliot finds something totally unexpected on his screen that turns his life upside down. What follows is a romantic romp that is hilarious in parts and heartbreaking in others filled with fun characters such as Kathryn's roommate Daniel and not so nice characters like her sister. The path to true love is never easy to navigate but Elliot and Kathryn find it more difficult than most and their underlying fear that they will never find the right person stands in the way of their happiness.

Ms Swan gives us an all consuming story that is impossible to put down with gorgeous swoon worthy Elliot who despite being an ogre to Kathryn in the office is really a romantic teddy bear at heart and strong determined Kathryn who's heart can so easily be broken. It is a must read if you are a fan of TL Swan.

I was incredibly excited for this book to come out thanks to the little glimpses of Elliot we got from the other books in the Miles High Club series. The story was funny and sweet, and definitely not what I was expecting as it didn’t go in the direction I thought it would. It was still a captivating romance between the two main characters, and typical TL Swan, the reader is immersed in an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you swooning. Even though things felt like they were dragging a little at the beginning, the plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat and made it all worth it. If you haven’t given this author an opportunity before, I highly recommend you do. The only reason I didn’t give ‘The Casanova’ 5 stars was due to grammatical errors, but overall it was a nice read.

TL Swan and the Miles High Club has been on my tbr list for a while now and I was so excited to finally give this series a go.

I'll admit it did take me a while to get into The Casanova. I had to slowly get accustomed to the writing style and general storyline (each book seems to be about a different Miles family member with lots of over-the-top drama), but once I did -- oh boy, I could not put this down.

As mentioned, this book contains drama. Lots of 'will they, won't they', some miscommunication and assumptions, and a ton of steamy reunions. The heroine is sassy, stubborn, and independent. The hero is used to getting his way. From an initial and long-standing dislike of each other, watching these two characters develop a romantic interest was highly entertaining. And by the end of this book, I now know I need to go back and read the first two in this series immediately.

I'm a huge fan of this series and this book is no exception!

This is a great enemies to lovers story. Elliot can be hard to deal with and he can be very intense, but he inside he's a romantic who is looking for something extraordinary. Kate isn't afraid of what she wants but she doesn't know how to get it, she can be stubborn and she can slightly overreact. When they decide to hookup exclusively, neither of them expects it to become anything more than that, Kate is looking to see if she can feel anything after the death of her parents six years ago, and Elliot cannot seem to get Kate out of his mind.

The Casanova has some surprising reveals which truly caught me off guard and had some actual laugh out loud moments. Overall, I really enjoyed this one and if you haven't started this series yet and you love steamy reads and a good love story, pick these up.

Ahhh this book was so good. I binged read the first two book before this one and that was a great idea. I am now completely in love with the Miles brothers and all three books have made me cry laugh and smile like an idiot. Elliot and Kate’s relationship was an amazing journey to follow and I loved the enemies to lovers trope. Elliot is the king of dirty talk and my god I screamed at the plot twist 80% through even though I had an inkling about it. I highly recommend this book. 5/5⭐️

I'm so glad I get to read this one because I've been meaning to read the first two books of the series. I did not disappoint. I really enjoyed Elliot and Kate's story. They have the hot chemistry and their banter was hilarious. Their tension is steamy and off the charts. I definitely loved how Kate made him work for it.

I absolutely loved these two's story and them together. I laughed and cried a lot. The twist at the end was totally unexpected. I also loved seeing the brothers together. I had so much fun, their banter got me in stitches. I definitely have to read the author's backlist now.

I wanted to love this book and I honestly did at first. But then Elliot just let me down and I couldn't get over it easily, so I had to deduct a star.

Kate is an IT Manager for Miles Media in London. When we're introduced to Kate & Elliot, we see Kate being a royal B and Elliot utterly frustrated with his nemesis. They literally hate each other and I was questioning how those two could be the lead characters in a romance. It wasn't a great first impression of Kate, that's for sure. But then Miles starts to like what he sees on camera and discovers that hot woman he's admiring is his nemesis. After that, he finds it hard to ignore Ms. Landon. Add to this the fact that both Elliot and Kate setup fake dating profiles on an app and strike up a friendship under their aliases. Only they don't know who the other person is initially, so it really makes things interesting.

Kate is a strong, confident woman, at least for the first half of the book she is. Then she becomes weak, lets her sister run over her emotionally and even lets Elliot keep her as his dirty little secret for way too long to be comfortable. I get why Elliot wanted to keep her hidden. After all, we see how bad the paparazzi is towards the end. But I didn't agree with it after they were together as long as they were.

Elliot came off like a Christian Grey copycat quite often. He was the rich, dominant, cold, distant, rough (he was a biter), alpha male (without the poor upbringing) that kept his girl at arm's length. At least Christian had a good reason for being the distant guy he was. I didn't feel like Elliot really had a good reason to act the way he did throughout the book and it broke my heart to see Kate getting the cold shoulder.

The icing on the crap cake was when Elliot chose a mystery woman over Kate. I absolutely hated him for what he did, especially since he knew that Kate was aware who he was going to see and why. He didn't want to live with any 'what ifs' or regrets and in the end, he regretted that decision. I'll be clear, he doesn't cheat on her physically, but emotionally, yes, I believe he did and that's what upsets me the most. He broke her heart willingly and then he decides quickly after meeting this other woman that he made a mistake and really loves Kate. I wasn't feeling any good things towards Elliot after that. And that plot twist related to that woman?!? And then the awkward situation with Daniel/Kate? It was all just too much and over-the-top.

I will admit that when Elliot was at his country home, I loved the person he was. He was utterly adorable with the ducks and goats (they kept me laughing). He was a gentle soul at that point and it was like an entirely different person was in his body from the 'work' Elliot. I wouldn't have minded more of that version of the hero.

I rarely complain about it, but this book was way too focused on the sexy moments and it became repetitive after a while. I wanted to see the relationship develop, not bedroom or wall scenes over and over.

This was the first T.L. Swan book I've read, so I wasn't familiar with the author or the previous characters in this series. However, I think this one can be read as a standalone. I may go back and read the previous books since I enjoyed getting to meet Elliot's other brothers. They seem a little more down-t0-earth than Elliot.

In this third book you get to delve into the lovable, playboy brother, Elliot Miles. What starts as an enemies to lovers, ends with a twist no one sees coming. This romance has it all, and is well written. The spice is pretty high, so if that isn’t your thing I would stray away. All in all, 4 star read.

The Casanova is the third book in the Miles High series. We follow Elliot, the brother of the previous books’ heroes.

Elliot has been searching for the reclusive and elusive artist that painted a series of paintings that have captivated him for years. He is the CEO of the UK branch of Miles Media, which he runs with his brothers. There, he works with Kathryn, who runs the IT Department.

Kathryn and Elliot have been butting heads since she began working at Miles Media. One day, however, Elliot sees Kathryn in a different light (😉) and hate slowly turns to lust. They start a fling, but Elliot is holding himself back and trying to deny his growing feelings for Kate.

I really enjoyed reading Elliot and Kate’s love story. They were both stubborn (Elliot more so) and had some issues to work through, but it was lovely watching them fall in love.

There is also some pretty good groveling in this book, which I really enjoyed. The person groveling really needed to grovel, and I was so glad they weren’t let off the hook easily. I hate when books do that! TL Swan delivered a damn fine grovel in this book, and I appreciate that. ♥️

There were also some literal laugh out loud moments in this book. The ducks. The horny goat. The ram. It was delightful. 😂🤣

The only thing that kept this from being a five star is that it just didn’t quite reach the same level as the previous book in the series. I adored Tristan and Elliot just wasn’t as much of a perfect hero as he was. I didn’t feel right giving this a five star when I didn’t enjoy it as much as The Takeover. Am I weird for rating series this way? lol

I’m so glad I snagged the ARC of this. This is definitely a top tier series, and I will definitely be grabbing the ARC of the next book if I can.

I absolutely loved this book. I feel that I’ve gone through the entire gamut of emotions reading The Casanova. In no particular order I’ve felt hate, anger, love, amusement, frustration and even felt tears well up at one point and all usually down to the actions of the hero. This is the ultimate enemies to lovers story where my sympathies lie entirely with the heroine. Elliott Miles is the ultimate stereotype of what becomes of spoilt brats – they grow up to be arrogant and elitist businessmen with a childish streak a mile wide. His one redeeming feature is the love he has for his family. Basically as a character he is a complete pig and one that you love to hate…. until he meets his ‘inherited’ farmyard menagerie, at which point my heart melted, in between the fits of laughter that is, as he came to terms with country life and the fact that it’s not only the household variety of pets that are for life. The heroine Kate is the perfect foil for him even though I do feel she should be a redhead the way her temper erupts any time they clash but then she does have the same effect on Elliott. The sparks really do fly whenever they are in the same room. It was obvious right from the start that when they did finally make as far as the bedroom they would set the sheets on fire, the chemistry between them was so electric.

I honestly didn’t think this book could be as good as the Takeover but I think it might just be better but that sets the bar high for Christopher’s book when it’s released.

Author T.L. Swan has another winner with The Casanova, the third installment from The Miles High Club series. This book may be enjoyed as a standalone, however, don't pass on the chance to read books one and two, because they are amazing as well.

Kate Landon loves her job in IT at Miles Media. However, her sparring matches with Elliot Miles, the CEO, leave them both exhausted at times. Kate is talented and beautiful, and Elliot is a smart and well-known for his womanizing ways. They share a spark which evolves into a meaningful relationship, something that both of them thought they did not want or need.

This book has a bit of everything....steamy sex scenes, clever banter, humor and a huge plot twist. Both Kate and Elliot are fascinating characters and easy to get to know. The emotional scenes were heartrending. Overall, a solid romantic read that should not be missed.

The Takeover is still my favorite of the series so far.
I loved this story, but I couldn't give it 5 stars because Elliott had two and a half moments that made me cuss at him while reading.
I was so mad at him and I didn't totally forgive him.

Elliott is grouchy, but also soft with Kate.
It's one of those - the H doesn't want a serious relationship, but doesn't want anyone else to have the h either.
I loved the "twist" in the story, but I did figure it out earlier and it's a little too coincidental, but romance books are made to be fated and happily ever afters.

The wildlife were hilarious and the cameos from the brothers were awesome.

I'm looking forward to Christopher's book.

T.L. Swan is a recent discovery for me- I’ve loved her super steamy, somewhat angsty, often humorous romances that seem to have such a particular flair. Highly consumable- and highly entertaining. But, unfortunately, this one was a bit of a miss for me.

It started out incredibly promising - I was hooked immediately by the entertaining dynamic between IT team member Kate and her sexy boss, CEO of the London Miles Group. Firey chemistry, flirty and heated banter, tension galore- all the things I love about a enemies to lovers story. Eliot is initially a pompous, frustrating alpha boss and Kate is sassy and clever- and a really delicious chemistry is brewing between them, particularly as Kate starts flirty with what might be Elliot's sweeter and charming swoony-worthy online alter ego on a dating site.

Giddily, I couldn’t stop turning the pages, and while I still flew through this story, I found parts of it disappointing to me personally. Overall, it just felt too long and the drama dragged out in places, and while I found the characters captivating early on, the more their story unfolded, the more I found that I was frustrated with them- almost like they regressed into themselves instead of growing as characters. Kate who started as such a compelling and strong heroine loses a lot of her spark- walked on by her despicable sister and ultimately by Elliot. And Elliot, oh Elliot. I have a hard time still seeing him as a true Casanova for Kate after some really frustrating decisions. The end of the book hit you with a lot of drama and some twists that while Kate may have forgiven, I’m not sure I would. But alas, this is not my love story, it’s theirs- I’m glad they had their HEA and their journey was an interesting one, just not my favorite from TL Swan. But the steam level is HIGH and super yummy.

I’ve loved this series- and even if this third book is my least favorite of the three, TL’s writing continues to compel me to come back for more!
