Random House....
Thank you so much for this eARC!

This book was like a freaking rollercoaster ride! I couldn’t stop squirming in my seat bc the intensity of the story! Non stop action from the very first page that ended with a bang!
I am sure am glad I started this book finished in one sitting!
So enthralling and intriguing that I devoured the book in matter of 6 hours, I didn't want to put it down, I needed to know more everytime.
There's plenty of action. a high level of suspense, and the mystery will keep you glued to the pages until the final conclusion .. when all is revealed. The characters are solidly drawn, but beware not everyone is who they seem to be.
I had so much fun reading this book!

Thank you again Publisher, NG and Author for this amazing story!

Well I really liked this book a lot! But what the heck is up with that ending?! Really?! Ugh I still really liked this book but I definitely didn't like the way it ended! This book had a ton of twists and turns, it had suspense, intrigue, and a great who done it! I do recommend reading this book, its well worth reading but beware of the last page lol thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

This book grabbed me right away and didn't let up until the very end. A very believable and likeable main character as well as well defined other characters. Micah is defined by and still struggling by a tragic event during high school. Her best friend, was killed by her boyfriend and finding out they both betrayed her. This book is told both in the past as she drives to meet her friend' s brother and in the present, ten years after the event as a true crime blog opens ups lots of questions about what happened and who everyone is in her life. Will be watching for more by this author

I received an advanced reader’s copy in exchange for an honest review

I loved this one. Very fast paced, had me turning pages as I tore through it – I had to see how it would end. The characters were well rounded and the narrative felt believable. Gave me chills. Solid five

A solid addition to the crowded thriller genre. A recommended purchase for collections where similar titles are popular.

I just finished reading "Catch Her When She Falls" by Allison Buccola. Thanks to NetGalley for providing me with a free copy in exchange for a review of the book.
This book follows the life of Micah whose best friend Emily was killed in highschool by Micah's boyfriend, Alex. Micah is haunted by Emily's death and the role that she played in sending Alex to jail. Now she is back in her hometown living with Alex's best friend Ryan and running a Coffee Shop. But then mysterious threats begin targetting Micah, which brings into question whether or not Alex was actually responsible for Emily's death. This sends Micah into a tailspin and she becomes obsessed with learning the truth, which eventually sends her looking for Emily's strange younger brother Joshua.....
I enjoyed reading the backstory of Micah and her friends. She is definately a flawed character but I felt her pain and sorrow throughout the book. I also enjoyed how Micah was portrayed as this strong but equally vulnerable character, who wanted to do the right thing but was afraid to. The story kept sending clues about who the real killer might be throughout the book so that I was never quite sure of who actually killed Emily. At one point I even though Micah might have done it.
Although there were some head scratching moments in the book, overall I really enjoyed the story and the author did an excellent job of tying it up at the end, even though it was a bit messy.
My only advice to to the reader is watch for the timeline because this story is told in three different time periods: the far past, the near past and the present...hope that makes sense.
Happy Reading

It’s been ten years since Micah’s boyfriend killed her best friend, now she’s in another relationship, running a coffee shop in her hometown. But now a true crime blog has brought the tragedy to the forefront again and Micah is starting to doubt her version of Emily’s murder. Was the wrong person convicted? Micah begins to feel like she’s being followed and she’s frightened. What if Emily’s real killer has targeted her?

More like 3.5 stars. I would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review. The cover and description drew me in and I enjoyed the book. We meet Micah, a girl who's boyfriend killed her friend back in high school. Life has moved on and she is now back in their small town, and owns a coffee shop, but, has life really moved on in the last decade? Micah feels like someone is following her and she becomes obsessed with the true crime blog that is talking about Alex's case. The book goes back and forth from current day to that fateful day 10 years ago, with worlds old and new colliding. I really enjoyed the book, my only negative remark would be I wasn't a total fan of the ending, I was expecting something different.
