There was so much to enjoy about this book. I love enemy to lovers trope and this book fit the bill. I loved seeing the clashes, and misunderstanding and seeing how they are forced to work on this wedding and having to be nice about it. Both of them come from different backgrounds so there was was a understandable amount of issues I mean Noah grew having to work hard and knowing how hard things are when money is tight meanwhile Savannah grew up with a great support system and had a pretty privileged lifestyle. While they don't know everything about eachother clearly confusion and assumption will happen and it was interesting seeing how their mindset changed over time as they began working together. I loved watching the romance grow. There was plenty going on to keep me hooked till the very end and overall I really enjoyed it.

Blurb: Savannah is the youngest of 5 kids with 4 older brothers. She is believed to be spoiled and unable to stick to anything on top of being 29 and still living at home. She runs her best friend’s preschool program and is the lead teacher for the 4 year old classroom. Noah is a single father who works as an EMT for the fire department. He is struggling to find balance after he separated from his wife and she moved to Texas. Savannah’s older brother and Noah’s best friend is getting married and has asked the two of them to plan the wedding. Savannah and Noah can barely stay in the same room together without irritating each other let alone plan a wedding. Will the tension finally snap?!
What I liked:
💫 Enemies to lovers! I love the banter between Noah and Savannah, which creates a lot of tension between the two.
💫 This was a cute romance in which an unlikely couple emerges. Noah is very responsible and tries to stay on top of things while Savannah just goes with the flow.
💫 It’s clear in this book that Savannah’s family, including Noah, don’t believe she is capable of taking care of stuff. It was cute to see Noah’s opinion of her change and he made sure her family was aware of how much she did for putting the wedding together.
What I didn’t like:
💫 Things just work out too perfectly in the series, especially in regards to Abby and Carter. You get to see all of Abby’s dreams come true, which to me seemed a little too much.
💫 Noah and Savannah were at each other’s throats until they weren’t. I would have liked to see their walls slowly coming down. We get a small glimpse of Noah looking at Savannah in a different manner but not so much with Savannah.
Unfortunately this one just wasn't for me. It was a bit too sweet and corny. I am sure there are a lot of people who would enjoy this, but It just isn't my cup of tea,
Savannah and Noah are every bit of the swoony romance that I live for. Noah is a single dad with an adorable daughter who is still adjusting to life after her mom moves away.. Savannah is the younger sister of Noah’s best friend. They have there ups and downs in the book but this is the kind of romance book I love. There is steam but nothing crazy. This book is soooo good. Please go buy a copy for yourself.
Savannah, has been working at the Sunshine Corner preschool and she is about to have her own class. Savannah is also the baby and only girl in her family, living in an apartment over the garage at her parents’ home. People think she is spoiled and can not handle anything on her own and she is out to prove them wrong. When Savannah is asked to plan her best friends wedding, she can not believe that she must do it with Noah, her brothers’ best friend. He is the one person that rubs Savannah the wrong way, and it does not help that his daughter is also in her preschool class. What will happen when the two of them are forced to spend time together? Can they put their differences aside and plan a dream wedding for their best friends?
Noah would do anything for his best friend and that includes having to spend time with his friend’s little sister, the torn in his side. He is already taxed to the max with his job and trying to raise his daughter and this is one more complication he does not need. His sweet daughter Rosie seems to love Savannah, and maybe Noah is not seeing the whole picture. Does he have what it takes to help plan the wedding?
I loved the “House on Sunshine Corner”, the first book in Phoebe Mills series, so I was thrilled to start reading the second book. I enjoyed getting to know Savannah and Noah while getting reacquainted with characters from the first novel. It is such a charming story, full of family, friends and small-town living. The characters were well written, especially Rosie, who just melted my heart. I look forward to seeing what Ms. Mills has in store for us with her next book. Forever Publishing, Netgalley and author Poebe Mills have my thanks for my advanced readers copy that I read and reviewed in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions. A fabulous five star read friends.
I have followed the sunshine corner series right from the beginning and this was as good as the first.
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner is another enemy-to-lovers story that has Noah and Savannah at each other's throats. Noah sees her as this spoilt princess who never has to lift her finger to get things done, and Savannah sees him as the grumpy male who would always want to call her out on her flaws.
They are both tasked with planning a wedding, and will do anything to get the job done, even if it's for a day. But how long will that last or how long will it take before they strip each other with their eyes?
As always, this book touches on love, friendship, and small town gossip, which is the full package. Waiting patiently for the third book.
Thanks Forever for this gifted copy.
This is the second in The Sunshine Corner series but can be read as a stand alone.
Savannah Lowe is the baby of the family and gets treated like a princess. Her older brothers and parents do everything for her and help her with everything.. At least that's what her brothers Caleb's bf Noah thinks of her.
She is in charge of the preschool that his daughter attends. He is a single parent and trying to keep his job as a fire fighter even though they are accommodating his lack of childcare for the time being.
When the family gets a call that Caleb just proposed and they want to get married in Sunshine Corners and will Noah and Savannah who they asked to in it help them. (Oh goodness that's like a full time job planning a wedding and then doing it for someone else yikes. I can't even imagine planning someone's wedding as a single parent with a demanding job lol or running a preschool, the audacity)
But the complete animosity and pettiness after a few public disagreements starts to turn into something else. And yes trying to hide a new relationship in a small town when you are with your brothers best friend seems hard 😂🥵 pun intended.

Thank you forever pub and netgalley for the e-ARC for my honest and voluntary review.
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner is the second book in a series. It follows Savannah and Noah. Savannah is the baby in her family, so she’s always been coddled and taken care of. Which means no one has ever let her fail or stand on her own. But now she has a job running a preschool and she’s determined to show everyone that she can commit to something and excel.
Noah is her brother’s best friend, the father of one of her students and her enemy. He’s always thought she was a spoiled brat. But now he’s raising his daughter alone after his ex-wife moved out of state and he sees a whole new side of Savannah as she helps his daughter at school.
They get roped into planning her brother’s wedding for him and the forced proximity breaks down the animosity between them. Without the animosity, they see the tension for what it really is - chemistry.
I really loved seeing them fall for one another and find ways to support one another. I was so invested that I actually got uncomfortably upset during their 3rd act fight - some very hurtful things were said. I could have used a little more groveling (don’t we all always want more? 🤣) but the ending was very sweet. Definitely a good read if you enjoy small town enemies-to-lovers romances.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This just came out this week so you can read it now! Thank you to NetGalley, Forever and the author for an advanced copy for review.
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner by Phoebe Mills is the second book of the contemporary romance The Sunshine Corner series. As with a lot of romance series the main characters have changed in this second book with the setting of The Sunshine Corner daycare being what ties the books together. With the characters changing the books can be read as a standalone or in any order if choosing to do so but there are glimpses of previous characters for those reading in order.
Savannah Lowe is trying not to be overwhelmed with her new position running The Sunshine Corner preschool and teaching the four year olds. One of those four year olds though is the daughter of Noah Adams. Noah was Savannah’s brother’s best friend and never saw eye to eye with Savannah thinking of her only as a spoiled princess being the youngest in her family.
Despite always bumping heads with one another Savannah and Noah immediately accept the challenge of helping to plan Savannah’s brother’s wedding when they are both asked. After a few failed attempts at planning Savannah makes a pact with Noah to put their past behind them long enough to get the wedding together but working together they both begin to see another side to one another.
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner by Phoebe Mills is again another enemies to lovers romance in the series and while that isn’t my favorite romance trope I again found myself easily engaged in the story. The characters in this one were again very likable despite beginning not liking each other and it was easy to root for them. I’m also always a sucker for children being involved and of course Noah’s daughter was an adorable addition. After reading and enjoying both books in this series so far I’d definitely be up for a book three!
I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.
I've been so looking forward to this one since reading a House on Sunshine Corner and Phoebe Mills did not disappoint with this follow-up!
I love when an author creates a setting and a cast of characters so familiar that you step right back into that world like you hadn't missed a beat and that's what Mills did with Sunshine Corner. I loved seeing the preschool that was such a major part of the first book up and running, getting to follow up with Abby and Carter and Hilde, but also getting right into Savannah and Noah's story and relationships, which were teased for us last year.
There's nothing more that I love than an enemies to lovers storyline, and I really liked in this one that since we had seen some of that animosity in book one and there was such a perceived history of it, we didn't have to wait FOREVER for these two fools to realize those strong feelings were actually attraction and chemistry. And once they did realize it? It was absolutely a pleasure to see them on page together, to watch Savannah chip away at Noah's walls and Noah to realize the lens he had always viewed his best friend's little sister through was false. Just, *swoon*.
I know some people love a single dad storyline, and some prefer kids nowhere near their romances, but the single dad storyline worked for me here. Noah working through his single parenting and Savannah working through her insecurities around follow-through and responsibility were really well formed storylines and balanced each other in the story and in their relationship.
Again, Mills has teased us a bit with the next story to come in the series; bring on Winter 2023!
If you are looking for a charming and delightful small town romance, Phoebe Mills definitely delivers in this brother's best friend, conflicted relationship to lovers, single dad romance. This is the second book in The Sunshine Corner series, but it can definitely still be read as a standalone. This is also Mills' second novel and I found it to be a really lovely addition to the series and her works and I am excited to continue reading from her as she develops and grows in her writing career. This novel is easily engaging, Mills' writing and tone is conversational and quickly draws the reader into the story, I also found that the pacing works very well and Mills does a nice job moving from "conflicted" to lovers with the hero and heroine as their understanding of each other deepens.
Savannah is the baby of her family, and while she yearns to grow and spread her wings, she does feel like she is sometimes coddled too much which leads her to not always be fully confident in her abilities. Noah is Savannah's brothers friend and has know Savannah since she was a child, he considers her to be flighty and unreliable because of the way she is always being helped by her family. Noah is divorced and the soul caretaker of his four year old daughter now that his ex wife has moved to another state for a new job, and Noah has a hard time relying on others for help. Savannah and Noah now find themselves more in each others spheres because Savannah is Noah's daughter's pre-school teacher and Savannah's brother (Noah's best friend) has asked Noah and Savannah to help plan his wedding in Sunshine Corner (because he and his fiancee live out of state).
This novel starts out with Savannah and Noah really misunderstanding each other and it is their journey of discovering who each person truly is as well as learning really important things about themselves along the way. Mills does a really wonderful job creating characters with realistic flaws and preconceived notions and having them slowly get to know each other and trust each other. I really enjoyed that through out their relationship both Savannah and Noah were able to support each other, help each other to open up and really see the inner strength of the other while helping them to learn ways that they can help themselves by relying on others and finding their inner strength. I love that Noah sees that Savannah is a much stronger and more competent person than he thought, watching how she takes control he finds a deep respect for her. I love that Savannah is able to show Noah ways to open up and learn that accepting help does not make him any less of a father to his daughter. I think Mills does a really lovely job of showing the reader that the hero and heroine have a really lovely relationship that can help balance each other and support each other. I also think Mills does a nice job with the children and the pre-school moments in this novel, the children help us and Noah to see Savannah's capabilities as well as Savannah and Noah's daughter have some really lovely moments which make Noah's heart squeeze in the best way! The steam level in the novel is low, verging on closed door, so if you don't like a ton of steam in your novel this should work well for you. The final conflict of this novel, while predictable, does give a nice exploration and growth to both the hero and heroine as they move toward their final HEA.
If you love a small town romance, if you love a sweet story about two people who truly learn to see the other, if you love a single father and teacher romance, then this is a delightful option to add to your TBR pile. I would definitely recommend this, it has beautiful light hearted moments, some moments of struggle and it left me with a smile on my face.
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner is second book in The Sunshine Corner series and it gives us a small-town romance with a wedding, but not in the way you think, and two people fighting both their feelings and themselves!
Savannah Lowe is the only girl in her family with four brothers and she is currently running The Sunshine Corner, the preschool in town. She's always been treated like she isn't able to handle things and unfortunately she's internalized that and there are times she believes it too. She's much too hard on herself.
Noah Adams is a single father and one of Savannah's brothers best friends. He's stressed about his job and in turn his finances. He and Savannah have never quite seen eye-to-eye, but there has always been a bit of an attraction there.
When Savannah's older brother announces his engagement, he and his fiancée ask Noah and Savannah to handle all of the plans since they are in their hometown and the betrothed live out of state. While Noah and Savannah aren't thrilled to be working together, it may be just what the two of them need to understand if there is something there between them. Will all this togetherness bring them together or drive them apart?
I enjoyed these characters and how their arcs unfolded. Both Noah and Savannah grew and learned throughout the novel both together and individually. I've enjoyed both trips to Sunshine Corner and I look forward to the next visit!
**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review**
I had just read The House on Sunshine Corner and was so excited to log into my Netgalley to see the next book was publishing soon and I could still request it on Netgalley! I think some of my favorite parts of the first book were the tension between Noah and Savannah so having an entire book for them made my day.
I love a good enemies to lovers. Noah is Savannah's brother's best friend and they've known each other since they were kids. Noah has always seen Savannah as the spoiled princess who is flaky and whose parents do everything for her. To Savannah, Noah has always looked down on her. When her brother and his fiance asks them to help them plan the wedding since they are out of town, Noah and Savannah are forced to spend a lot of time together. But in this forced proximity, they start to actually get to know each other and, gasp(!), like each other.
I like how Phoebe Mills wrote characters with real insecurities and we got to see them work through it. They weren't just thrown in there as an aside, the things they struggled with were important to the story and we got to watch their growth. I really enjoyed this book in the Heart's Hope Bay series and look forward to reading Becca and Jackson's story next!
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner is another great read from Phoebe Mills!
Noah may be the best friend of Savannah's brother but the two of them don't get along well. All that changes when they have to work together to plan a wedding.
I really liked their relationship development as they find they share undeniable chemistry. It was interesting seeing how their perspectives of one another changed after having known each other for years.
The story is a sweet, charming small town romance with lots of heart. I can't wait for more from the series!
A small town romance where sparks fly between a single father and his daughters pre-school teacher who happens to be his best friends younger sister.
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner is an enemies to lovers, forced proximity romance about two people who's first impressions taint each other perception of the other. This love story has plenty of humor, heart and happy endings. The second in The Sunshine Corner series can be read as a stand alone.
Thank you Forever for the advance reader copy.

A WEDDING ON SUNSHINE CORNER

Phoebe Mills checks a lot of my happy reader boxes with this second book in her small-town, Sunshine Corner series. I love the community dynamic of this series, with its core group of friends at the center. She has created a strong, supportive environment with friends and family who stand ready to help while also not being above well-meaning meddling. Savannah's family, in particular, plays a strong role in both Savannah's character as well as her journey with Noah.
Savannah and Noah both come with layers and complications that give them complexities that made them intriguing characters who both held my attention and engaged my emotions. I love a brother's best friend romance trope. Add in enemies to lovers (okay, maybe not enemies in the strictest sense but definitely adversaries), single dad, and childhood friends, and I'm sold.
It was fun watching Noah and Savannah gradually move beyond the impressions formed in their younger years and begin to see the truth of who each of them is in the present. It was also satisfying to see each of them personally evolve and begin to learn their own strengths while learning to accept their vulnerabilities. I loved the sizzle and deep feelings that gradually grew between them. Noah's four-year-old daughter was a large part of those feelings. The story addresses the very real complications having a young child can cause in a new relationship while also highlighting the additional depth of emotion that child can also bring to that same relationship. I was cheering for a happily ever after for all three of them.
If you enjoy small-town contemporary romance with plenty of humor, heart, and happy endings, give this one a try. It's the second book of the series and while it can absolutely be enjoyed on its own, reading book one, The House on Sunshine Corner, will introduce you to many of the characters you'll meet in book two including Savannah's best friend and boss, Abby (heroine of book one).
ARC received for fair and unbiased review
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner by Phoebe Mills, revisits the Sunshine Corner Childcare. Abby's preschool has opened and Savannah is in charge. She has spent her whole life being protected by her older brothers and her family. So much so, that she begins to believe that she really isn't capable of making her own decisions.
Noah is Caseys (Savannahs brother) beat friend and Savanna's nemesis. They just so not get along at all, and butt head all the time. It wouldn't be a problem, but Noah's daughter goes to Savannahs preschool.
But then Savannah and Noah are thrown together. Casey is getting married. He lives out of town but wants to get married in his home town, so he enlists Savannah and Noah to help.plan his wedding. Along the way the disgust Savannah and Noah have turns into lust....then love. With some problems thrown in and redemption in the end, this story was so sweet and Phoebe Mills told such a romantic story! 4⭐
Thank you to Netgalley, Forever Publishers and Phoebe Mills for the eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I enjoyed reading my first visit to Sunshine Corner, and it will not be my last. In a fun, easy to read story with great characters set in a small town. I found myself intrigued with Noah and Savannah. They have known each other for some time as he is her brother’s best friend. She is now his daughter’s teacher. Currently, they are tasked with planning her brother’s wedding, between conflict and sparks, a romance begins.
I look forward to returning to Sunshine Corner and meeting new friends.
Thank you to NetGalley and Forever(Grand Central Publishing) for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
