Noah is a new single dad that is an EMT, Savannah is his best friends little sister and his daughter's new preschool teacher. They have hated each other for years, but Savannah has had a crush on him for years. This is a full on chemistry fest with the ansty hate you to lovers. Once they have to spend time getting ready for her brother's wedding (I don't think I would never be that nice to plan someone else wedding) when you are both that busy. This one is a steamy read thanks to all that chemistry. We also get the characters from book one that come back and make this one fun, and added storylines for them. I have really enjoyed this series and look forward for more of it!

3.5 steam
Thanks to Forever for a copy of this one
I love a sweet brother's best friend and enemies-to-lovers romance.
From the beginning, it was clear that Savannah and Noah misunderstood each other. Savannah didn't give herself enough credit or believe in herself enough. Noah was a newly single dad that was struggling with how to best care for his daughter. I thought the premise of having them team up to plan Savannah's brother's wedding was interesting. I loved the town and that we got to see more of Abby, Carter, Hilde, and Sunshine Corner. This book showed just how important a good teacher is and how it can be challenging to balance everything. I appreciated watching Savannah and Noah help the other realize their own inner strengths and together they found their direction. This was an emotional read that was full of strong friendships and I was here for it.
Thank you to NetGalley and Forever for providing me with an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
I just love this small town series! I enjoyed The house on sunshine corner a lot and loved this second book just as much! In this story Savannah is helping to plan her brother's wedding with his best friend Noah. Noah is a single dad who's always seemed to dislike her for some reason. This enemies to lovers story was full of heart and chemistry and I adored the full cast of characters. I can't wait for more! Much thanks to NetGalley and Forever for my advanced review copy!
Light, easy read. Second in the Sunshine Corner series.
Liked Noah’s backstory and the fact he’s a good dad.
Wasn’t as connected to Savannah initially, but grew to like her more as the novel progressed.
Noah and Savannah have known each other forever, since he is friends with her brothers, and of course when they are forced-proximity to plan a wedding for her brother who is too busy to plan the wedding (this is a confusing concept, btw) of course there will be sparks.
I also felt the sparks just happened, there wasn’t a ton of buildup for them. Loved the banter between the two characters though!
Loved that Noah was a good dad to his daughter, despite her absent mother’s choice. There should be more dads like Noah in novels. I stand by this.
Will definitely read another novel in this series!
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner is the second stand alone in The Sunshine Corner series by Phoebe Mills. This small town enemies to lovers romance between Savannah and her brother's best friend Noah hit the spot!
As the baby and only girl of her family, Savannah has always been treated like she can't handle anything on her own, as someone pampered and flighty. That's exactly how her older brother's best friend Noah sees her. It results in them barely being able to be in each others presence without arguing. As a newly divorced single dad, he has zero patience for Savannah, and the last thing he wants to do is be paired up with her to plan a wedding. A truce to plan the wedding leads to the acknowledgment of sexual attraction and a casual arrangement that deepens into more. But when wedding plans go wrong and with both of them buckling under their own struggles, will things between them end up irreparable.
This was a charming romance. I liked all the characters, especially our stars , Savannah, Noah, and his daughter Rosie, who was precious. Savannah was a natural as a teacher, and it was disheartening that her family couldn't see her worth and always expected her to fail. At least she had friends in her corner to remind her of the great work she was doing. Noah was such a great dad and was a sturdy character, struggling under taking on all his responsibilities without asking for help. Savannah and Noah's dynamic was intriguing, from the start their animosity towards each other seemed to be an overcompensation to avoid the sexual attraction they already felt. I really enjoyed watching them actually get to know one another and see their relationship grow from angry words to friendship to more. I was really rooting for them by the end and was devastated by their big climax argument in the book, my heart broke for Savannah as he lashed out at her with his harmful words. Because of that , I appreciated that she didn't automatically accept his apology , he definitely had groveling to do.
A Wedding on Sunshine Corner by Phoebe Mills is a fun small town romance with mild steam, brothers best friend trope, a single dad, a darling little girl, wedding planning, and stolen vineyard kisses.
This book is a second book in a series. I didn't realize this when I read it's a great book and will be going back to read the first one. It can be read as a single book.
It is about a woman who is a preschool teacher with some self esteem issues and overcomes them in a series of events in the book. It definitely kept my interest and wanted to continue reading to see how she works everything out. Great book, I highly recommend it!
Savannah and Noah have been antagonists for a long time. He was her brother's best friend, as they grew up, and he always joined in scaring guys away from her. Now, she is in charge of a brand new preschool, and one of her students is Noah's daughter, Rosie. He is a newly single father, figuring out how to balance his job with time with Rosie. When Savannah's brother asks the two of them to work together to plan his wedding, what could go wrong?
It was great to return to Heart's Hope Bay for this book. It's a beautiful and romantic setting for a wedding or two. The town is a wonderful one, and I loved revisiting Abby, Carter, Hilde, the Sunshine Corner, and all the amazing characters. I especially appreciated the respect for teachers.
This book has a bit of everything with enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, and best friend's brother tropes. But more than that, this book made me feel so many emotions. I related so strongly to Savannah and felt like I was right there with her through the whole story.
Thank you to Forever and NetGalley for the advanced reader copy. These opinions are my own.
Thank you Forever pub for sending me the first book and allowing me to read an ARC of the second! This series is just so adorable and fresh. I love the daycare setting, which seems like something that hasn't really been done. Plus I love the grumpy/sunshine trope so this was right up my alley. Can't wait for the next!
For every new thing Savannah Lowe tries, everyone thinks she can't commit to one thing. She's seen as flighty. So when her friend Abby gives her full reign of the new preschool at Sunshine Corner, even Savannah has doubts that it will succeed. The last thing Noah Adams wants is for his daughter Rosie to be miserable at preschool. He's known Savannah all his life and her older brothers are his best friends. So he's had a ring side view of Savannah's many attempts at different things. But Savannah being Rosie's preschool teacher is the least of his worries. With Savannah, Rosie thrives. No, planning Caleb Lowe's wedding is the noose around their necks. Since Caleb and his fiancee Issa aren't local, it's up to Savannah and Noah to plan EVERYTHING. There are lots of hiccups along the way, but they also come to have a peaceful existence around each other. Not to mention, there's the friends with benefits part of their relationship. That all comes to a full stop when the wedding venue seems to not have been secured, which Noah completely places the blame on Savannah. She's able to pull things together to make Caleb and Issa's wedding memorable and Noah is left eating crow.
I found it interesting that everyone in Savannah's life saw her attempts at many things to be a fault. They viewed it as Savannah being flighty and unable to commit. But really, what is wrong with trying new things? I saw it as Savannah being open to new experiences and if she didn't like something she could move on. I mean, why continue to do things you don't like? I could see how Noah's view of Savannah was colored by how her family members, namely her brothers, viewed her. But I also saw how Savannah's many hobbies, or attempted hobbies, helped Noah to relax and be a little more open to trying new things. Her dabbling in different interests actually saved the wedding. And when Noah realized he couldn't live and love without Savannah, true icing on the cake.
I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.
Immediately, the saying that you pick on and fight with the people you love sprang to mind when reading this book. Savannah and Noah embody that idea perfectly... except they don't know that they're in love...
Fueled by assumptions, this story begs for understanding... and the moment that happens, the chemistry is sending sparks flying. This is a Hallmark movie waiting to happen. It was easy to read and easy to love.
This is a sweet small-town romance that will keep you turning the pages. Savannah and Noah's story was a joy to read. I look forward to the next book in this series.
I received a complimentary copy from Forever (Grand Central Publishing) via NetGalley and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
Noah is overworked, hassled, and struggling as a single parent. Savannah is his daughter’s day care teacher and life long nemesis. However, the two are tasked with planning a wedding for her brother and his fiancé, which sets the stage for lots of battles, including between the mothers, which was funny.
I liked this little community and the happiness it radiates. I don’t understand why Noah’s ex doesn’t help with child supposed. Of course, chemistry does it’s magic and sparks fly. But is there enough to maintain the relationship?
Tune in and find out if Nosh’s EMT training can rescue their feelings.
This is a very steamy romance, so if that is your kind of story, you will really like this one. This is the second in a series, but it could stand alone. The story was a quick, easy, light read.
Noah and Savannah have a history, so their attraction to each other seemed realistic. They went from enemies to lovers very quickly. There were some bumps along the way.
It will be interesting to see whose story is told in book three.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for inviting me to read this one. Unfortunately, I am currently not enjoying the first book and have absolutely no interest in reading this.

Book two in the Sunshine Corner series brings us a fun enemies-to-lovers, brother's best friend tale. Savannah Lowe works at Abby's daycare from book one, and she has been put in charge of the new preschool. Savannah, the baby of a family with four domineering older brothers, has always been thought of as flighty and spoiled, so having Abby trust her to take charge of this is a big step. Single dad Noah Adams has always been the "extra kid" in the Lowe family, growing up alongside Savannah and her brothers. Now he's a stressed-out EMT and dad to four-year-old Rosie, who is a student in Savanna's class. There has always been some animosity between Noah and Savannah, and it only gets worse when one of her brothers, who lives out of state with his fiancée, tasks Noah and Savannah with planning a wedding in Heart's Hope Bay. Forced to work together, sparks fly as tempers flare, but gradually there are different sparks going on between them.
Book two brings us all of the love and friendship and sweetness of the first book, and I can't wait to see what the next book has in store! Honestly? I'm most looking forward to how many more uteruses Hilde can tamper with. LOL

This was my first visit to Sunshine Corner. An emotional and enjoyable time was spent there. It may have been nice to have read the first one, but I certainly didn't feel as if anything was missing. The characters all seemed real and well presented. Entertaining relationship between the main couple with the challenges of family and friends thrown into the mix. I look forward to reading more of the lives of those in Sunshine Corner.
Phoebe Mills' latest Sunshine Corner book, A Wedding on Sunshine Corner is filled with fun, laughter and eventually a Happily Ever After. Single dad Noah Adams is the nest friend of Savannah Lowe's brother Caleb. He has put up with Savannah trying to tag along with the boys as a kid and he sees her as a spoiled little princess even as an adult who flits about with little to no purpose. Yet all of a sudden while tasked to work with her to plan Caleb and Issa's wedding Noah finds himself attracted to Savannah. On the other hand Savannah feels Noah is closed off, arrogant and grumpy. She does admire his relationship with his four-year-old daughter Rosie. Savannah did not want to be saddled with him in the planning of Caleb and Issa's wedding though.
I loved the characters in this story. It's always fun to me to read an enemies to lovers storyline. In this case it was very entertaining how Ms. Mills hot Savannah and Noah together.
Thank you to Dana @ForeverPub for the @netgalley link to book two in The Sunshine Corner Series. This book follows Savannah and Noah's story and its as wonderful as the first book. We follow these two as they are tasked with planning a wedding for Savannah's brother and Noah's best friend. Sparks fly, tempers flare, and the banter between them was just the right amount of energy as the story is slowly unfolded where we learn how much they both are alike in their struggles with confidence, and deep rooted family ties. Savannah's character just blossoms as she allows herself to trust her abilities and her feelings so that she can take a leap of faith to find success and happiness. Running her friend's preschool program, being in charge of setting up a wedding in record time, she truly tests herself and that was a thread I very much enjoyed throughout the book. Noah an EMT, a single Dad, also struggles with balancing work, his daughter, his mom, and only when he opens up and starts to trust does he finally begin to realize his true affection and love that he has been hiding all these years. Read this heartwarming novel filled with humor, sparks, love, friendship, courage, enemies to lovers trope, a well done second novel by Author Phoebe Mills. Coming to your favorite bookshop on March 29, 2022 pre-order your copy and grab book one if you haven't read it already. Can't wait to go back to Sunshine Corner when Book 3 releases. Grateful to be part of Forever Reads BFF program, and the chance to discover these fantastic contemporary romances.
This was a really enjoyable contemporary enemies-to-lovers romance. The second in a series (I didn’t read the first novel, but did not feel lost during my reading of this title), this was nicely spicy and sweet enough to make me plan to read the first novel as well as the next.
When I first started this book, I had trouble getting into it; felt like it was a silly little book. However, as I got into it and thought a little deeper into what was happening, I felt differently. The story centers around Savannah, youngest and only girl in a large family of boys. Pampered and taken care of by her family, Savannah has not settled down into a career, relationships, hobbies...anything. Tasked by her best friend to be the director of a new preschool, Savannah shows her management skills developed through years of bouncing around from job to job. And yes, one can learn many skills by holding a variety of jobs.
From the title, we know romance is involved. Actually, we have a good bit of romance involved in the book; several couples are identified and I assume each will be the focus of different books in the series.
Savannah has one brother who does not live in the same town as the rest of the family. Caleb is engaged to Issa and they have asked Savannah and Noah, best friend of Caleb and nemesis to Savannah, to plan their wedding in the hometown. The thought of working with Noah is not a pleasant one to Savannah but that soon changes. (You know it will.)
At some point, a problem occurs and Noah resorts to bringing up criticisms of Savannah to her face...things she has dealt with for years which make her seem incompetent. (I do not want to give away the story here.) This is where I looked more deeply at Savannah. One thing I have learned through my many years is simply that if someone is raised with criticism, being told you cannot do, having failures pointed out that person begins to not believe in themself. However, faced with a challenge, Savannah is able to draw upon all her experiences and is able to show everyone that yes, she is quite capable and does not need help to be successful.
So, I think that the lessons learned, amidst the sweet love stories, were so important and I hope that any young woman reading this who might have experienced the same treatment, will see themself and realize that yes, they too are capable.
I did receive this book through #NetGalley in exchange for a review.
