I love space opera and there are never enough of them around so when I see one I am definitely in. Ms. Navarre is a new to me author and new to this genre but I am definitely looking forward to reading this series and anything else that she writes in this genre while also exploring other books by her. Fate has finally caught up with Kaia and she's to be auctioned off to one of 500 men vying for her hand in marriage and her body in chains. Since her sister is the hostage to her good behavior Kaia has no choice but to submit the circus that she's caught up in but she definitely does not make things easy for the three men who stroke her libido and maybe even her heart.
The first man; Dex Draven is her tombola master. Having made a treaty with her father, he captures her and conducts the auction for her hand on board his space ship. The chemistry and pheromones' between then are off the charts but due to his role in this auction he cannot be her suitor even as his mating musk coats her body.
The second man: Ben Nero is her soul mate. Having abandoned her and let her believe him for dead he's now a powerful man and playing neutral to Dex in the Tombola. Another man who once held her heart but cannot bid for her hand. Yet the two of them find opportunities to play the naughty.
The final man and the man most likely to win the contest for her hand is Zorin; the leader of a band of pirates. He promises Kaia the one thing she wants over all others; domination but no chains. He's strong and powerful and can more than hold his own against the other two men who are stealing pieces of Kaia's heart as well as the 500 contestants in the Tombola.
What makes the story even more interesting is the history and the chemistry between Zorin, Ben and Dex. Can Kaia have the unthinkable: three men in her bed and in her heart and a prophesied son to rule her galaxy in peace? Since part 1 ends on a cliff hangar we'll have to wait and see what happens.
This is an erotic romance with MMMF erotic and steamy action. I am now fascinated and can't wait to see how this will play out.
Interstellar angel by Laura Navarre.
In a galactic mating contest where desire can be deadly, the only guys she wants are the three she can never trust.
In a faraway galaxy on the edge of apocalypse, cyber samurai Kaia of Kryll is the daughter of a tyrant who’s worshipped as a god by billions. A prison sentence she’ll kill to escape, since women like Kaia are worshipped in chains. And she’s just become the prize five hundred testosterone-fueled suitors will lie, seduce, and slaughter to possess in a ritual contest for her bed.
In the scramble to slip past her samurai defenses into her cybersuit, the only guys she wants are the three she can never trust. These four have a boatload of shared secrets and a shared passion so combustible it’s practically pyrophoric—breaking every dangerous rule on a world where lovers are crucified for unconventional unions. Their illicit heat will either end the war destroying all their races…
Or get the four of them killed when a god unleashes a death warrant for their heads.
A good read with good characters. I liked the cover. Likeable story. 4*.
Dang I hate cliff hangers especially with a book as good as this one. What happens when you lose your life mate, your dad is trying to auction you off and your captured by one yummy alien. You fight for what you want. Oh and if you aren’t into m/m, m/m/f you might wanna skip this book but you will be missing a dang good read.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

This series starter was unique to me. I have not read alot with cyber characters or digital worlds. And while that wasn't the entire book it was intriguing. Kaia is a woman from a culture which celebrates women in chains and she refused to be chained until Dex captures her in exchange tan alliance with her father. Her former lifemate also appears to help her settle into her auction for her bed.
There was some very interesting character, and I look forward to getting to know Zorin Dex and Ben. Kaia herself is intriguing and a captivating character.
The part that was hard for me was there was not a lot of explaination of the cyber world, how it worked and what it really did for the society. Also the waffling between Dex and Ben was ok at first but after a while it made Dex seem wishy. I also have a hard time when character holds to anger over listening to explainations that to me make sense.
I think this was a good start to the series and I hope to continue it.
I received an e-arc of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review!
I sadly DNF'd around the 25% mark, I just couldn't seem to connect with any of the characters *helpless shrug*
It was really disappointing that I couldn't, as the premise seems awesome and like something I'd love reading! Sadly it just didn't work for me😔
But if this seems like something you'll love, pick it up as the storyline seems good!
*There didn't seem to be any grammatical errors in what I read of the book*
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read it!
Interstellar Angel
An Astral Heat Romance #1

I received an e-arc of this book from NetGalley and Ascendant press in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoy sci-fi/paranormal romance as well as those with a reverse harem spin including those with a polyamorous lean to the RH. So far in my experience with NetGalley those have been pretty rare so I quickly requested this one despite the fact that I found the cover to be cheesy, fairly unappealing and now that I’ve finished the book not terribly representative of the way I pictured the characters. Ben is the closest as I pictured Adam Driver for his character and that guy kind of looks like him. Zoren I pictured older and more battle worn as described and Dex bigger and the heroine with longer hair and different dress and a more techy looking sword since it’s described as a cyber saber. Were I to be paging through kindle unlimited looking for something to catch my eye I’m not certain this would have based on the cover which is unfortunate because it was a really great read.
Be advised it is a steamy slow burn with a cliff hanger. There is no formal consummation of any relationship but it was done in such a way that I did not mind. There was an interesting and unique balance of interwoven relationships, attractions and histories that played off one another in a way that was delightful and delicious.
The world building was solid. I enjoy when an author relates a difference back to how prior humans on earth did whatever as a point of reference for the reader and while that was not employed here it did not take long to settle into the environment and understand the players involved.
There’s an element of enemies to lovers as everyone’s mad at someone for something reasonable to be mad about but largely unavoidable by the perpetrator. There’s a feeling of insta-love in the form of immediate attraction.
I did not spot any glaring typos or grammatical errors.
4.5 stars out of 5 primarily for the cover being eh.
This was my first time reading this author and I will definitely look forward to reading more of her work.
Overall this was a really fun steamy read but if cliffhangers bother you wait until they’ve all been released then binge. I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.
