I really enjoy the setup and start of this book, as I was pretty instantly hooked! I found the MC to be a pretty good balance of likable and sassy, and I enjoyed some of the email/blog posts that were included. I was having a bit of a hard time with the pacing in the middle, and was a little surprised to feel like it was going too slow since it's on the shorter side. However, I felt a little better towards the end, and overall had a good time reading!
Gina Malone writes a column advising people about relationship issues. In helping a reader, she inadvertently sets up a stalking situation in which the reader’s husband starts stalking Gina. This is How to Murder a Marriage (The Ex-Whisperer Files, Book 1) by Gabrielle St. George.
This was one of those books that was hard to put down. The story flow was excellent, the writing was very good, and the mystery was intriguing and a bit creepy. There was humor whenever Gina’s Zia Angela and Zia Rosa were in the scene. These twin aunts owned two Chihuahuas, Peppita and Peppeto. Other characters include Floyd and Lloyd, twin brothers who are the local police, Hugh who is Gina’s contractor and quickly becomes a good friend, and Gina’s cousin, Florrie. The story was a cozy mystery with a bit of romance, humor, and plenty of food and yet, it was also a creepy “cozy” thriller. I can’t wait to read book two of the series.

How to Murder a Marriage is top notch. A lovely mystery with a strong, relatable main character in Gina Malone.
I actually really liked this mystery story and I think it supposed to be a series. The main character is easily to identify with and I was really interested in the mystery and finding out what happened. I would highly recommend this one
