Language: PG+ (1+ swears, 0+ "f"); Mature Content: PG13+; Violence: G+
The cute premise invited me in, but the mentions of nudity, sex, and masturbation in the first chapter led me to believe I would not want to read upcoming sexual content. So I stopped.

Cam Radcliffe is on a deadline to write his next blockbuster action film, but he has writers' block. Cam is one of 3 brothers that were adopted by their parents when their biological parents were killed in a plane crash. The 7 years old boys were best friends when the plane crash happened. Their mother was good friends with Cam biological mother. She and her husband could not have children, so they decided to adopt the three boys. They boys have grown up very close. Cam came to stay at his parent's place for a month to finish the script for the film. When he arrived, he found out that Reese Resnick, his mother's goddaughter had arrived and taken over the caretaker's cottage. Reese was adopted by her mother a year before the boys were adopted. Their adoptive mothers were best friends, so they grew up like family. Reese had been especially close friends with Cam and he had recently gotten her a job where he worked. Cam had recently developed feelings that more romantic and Reese was feeling the same thing. They both were afraid to act on it because if it didn't work out, the relationship between the families could be affected. This a fun easy read about family and relationships. I highly recommend it.

So it looks like it took me three months to read this one.
It didn’t.
I tried several times to get into it and never could. I’ve enjoyed several other stories by this author so I’m not sure why I couldn’t get into Reese and Cam.
Clearly not the story for me.

I adored the family dynamics and how close everyone is. Cam’s brothers are fun and supportive and the fact that they are all adopted made it even sweeter.

I usually enjoy a good Romcom, however this one fell short for me. It didn’t hold my attention and the banter wasn’t interesting. It just gave me an overall blah vanilla feeling.

This is a great friends to lovers romance story. Reese and Cam have been friends for years. Even their mothers are friends. Cam is a writer that is having issues writing. Reese has some secrets of her own. This is a sweet love story with excellent writing. This is the first book by this author and it will not be my last.

Robin Bielman’s Written For You is a delightful friends-to-lovers romance sprinkled with warmth, charm and plenty of heart.

Screenwriter Cam Radcliffe is on a very tight deadline. He needs to deliver a script for his next action-packed blockbuster and despite being fully aware of the fact that he should be completely focused on his latest project he cannot help but find himself distracted by one of the most important people in his life: his best friend, Reese. Only, recently he has started seeing his friend in a completely different light that is far from platonic! Forget about car chases and adrenalin-pumping showdowns, Cam’s more tempted to put pen to paper to write declarations of love and romantic proposals!

Finding himself working in the same office as Reese is driving Cam wild! Sure they’ve known one another for years, but with each passing day, Cam finds himself falling that little bit more in love with her. Yet telling Reese how he really feels about her is the last thing Cam would ever consider doing as she doesn’t reciprocate his feelings for her… or does she? Is Cam destined to stay in the Friend Zone forever? Or might there be an unexpected twist that could end up flipping this script in the most unexpected of ways?

Cam has a script to write, he cannot afford distractions of any kind. But the thought of not being with Reese is unbearable – even if she has a secret of her own that could end up ruining any hope they might have of a future together.

Fun, flirty and deliciously feel-good, Written for You is a terrific contemporary romance guaranteed to bring a smile to every reader’s face. Sweet, sassy and sparkling, Robin Bielman’s Written For You delights from the off and will charm and enchant readers with two fantastic leads, witty dialogue, scintillating banter and swoon-worthy romance.

A heartwarming contemporary tale that hits all the right notes, Robin Bielman’s Written for You is an enjoyable charmer readers will fall in love with.

Cute friends to lover. The writing style was not my favorite. Too repetitive. Some of the descriptions were so far-fetched as to be laughable. I was almost a DNF at 82% when the leads were described after their night together as “exhausted like a pair of sloths who hung upside down for two long”. Huh!? What a bizarre analogy!

Thank you NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for this digital ARC in return for an honest review.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Okay I had problems with this book. I usually like this author, so was looking forward to this read. Hmm not so much. There is not anything specific it just didn't work for me. I think the build up was slow or something. They were friends and no I didn't want them to just hop in bed, but with the secrets and just odd random things. I didn't hate the book-it just wasn't her best to me. I am sure many will love this book. The main leads Cam and Reese (I liked Cam way better than Reese). Just 3 stars for this one from me.

Written for you is a friends to lover story. The characters are genuine and endearing and the story is well written and memorable. I hope this is the first in what will become a series and if you haven’t read it I recommend you do.

So Cam and Reese have known each other forever and have been best friends forever, however Cam's feelings have changed, he now sees Reese as more but fears that if she knew she would run and it would ruin there friendship. Reese has always loved Cam he has always been there for her and she can't help but noticed that he is hot, but he is Cam and he is a close friend and to top it off she was sent by his agent to spy on him and if Cam finds out he will not forgive that betrayal. As they spend time together, Reese helps Cam with his writers block but his story takes a change, it was based on action and now it is based on love and based on his and Reese's story. Cam and Reese give in to their feelings and do fall in love, but as always secrets never stay secret.

I loved this book, it was so cute. Best friends to lovers, Cam and Reese are just so cute and sweet. I just really liked them as a couple. I also really liked that we didn't have meddling parents trying to get them together (not my favorite trope). I really enjoyed the characters in this book and their relationships. Overall, a very delightful book.

Thank you to @entangled_publishing for a copy of this small town romance. I always appreciate a friends to lovers romance and Bielman did a great job of creating the slow burn between Cam and Reese. I really appreciate that they considered not only their attraction to each other but how this could impact their families. This was a fun read with great family dynamics as well.

I had a little bit of trouble with this otherwise very vanilla, friends to lovers, romance.

Set in the fictional town of Rustic Creek, a town in the mountains that is also along the Pacific Ocean, five hours or so north of Los Angeles, Cam, a writers and Reese, a best friend, have come to this town for Founder's Day, and to see their folks.

The folks, in this case, are wealthy enough to have a swimming pool at their house, as well as a tennis court, and guest cottage. Cam is hoping to use the guest cottage to write, but Reese has already gotten there first. Note, that for a cottage, it sounds rather like a full size house, but that is not the point.

This is one of those slow burns, where the lovers do the that dance of trying to get it on, only to be interrupted time and time again. I normally like those kinds of romances. I dont' want them to fall in bed in the first chapter.

So, the books works, and does what it is intended to do.

My problem is that the pace is so slow, and they are wandering around, and playing tennis, and swimming, and doing anything but writing. And talking about setting off fireworks, despite saying a few paragraphs before, that there was a wild fire near the town last year, and isn't it good that the town survived.

Having been through that, as many in the state of California have, playing with fireworks is just about the last thing I would do to get over writers block.

I had some other little nits, such as Reese talking about a baby frog, when she meant a small frog, because a baby frog is a tadpole. But, they don't ruin the story. They just make me stop and question where her mind is at.

So, an ok romance. It definitely delivered on the friends to lovers.
