Black Label deals with fear and what happens when fear overcomes and threatens to overtake your life. Jillian Cooper wakes up in a strange apartment and can't remember anything from the last weekend. She soon discovers blood on her clothes and her boss murdered. She doesn't know if she is a murderer, or insane. The only hope is to unravel the lost time and the only thread she has is a drug trial called Black Label.

Waking up in a dead man’s bed hungover and confused leads to a running big pharma crime thriller. In the wake of realization big pharma lying about addiction to there pills this is a timely thriller that will dazzle your spine tingles. Fun read.
I found this to be an enjoyable thriller with a fascinating storyline, although the pacing seemed inconsistent, with the latter half of the book more tell than show,
Jillian Cooper, a pharmaceutical marketing executive for Dynalife Pharmaceuticals, wakes up in a strange bed in San Francisco with no memory of the past two days. She is shocked to learn that Dyna;life's CEO Jonathon Mattson has been murdered and that she is the prime suspect. Jillian goes on the run from the police while trying to find evidence of her innocence. Life-saving prescription drugs are a huge money making industry and the big pharmaceutical companies, including Dynalife may have secrets that lead to thousands of deaths for huge profits.
Jillian learns of an off-the-books Black Label drug lab run by Dynalife. It's a race against time for Jillian to find proof of the company's wrongdoings before she is arrested or killed by the perpetrators.
This was a thrilling read and is highly recommended.
