A book that draws you into the world of the characters.John a professor accused by female students of having affairs with them preying on his students. His wife who admits knowing about his involvement with his students and says yes she knew about them it was part of their marital agreement an open marriage.A book that draws you into their lives ,involves others into the drama of their lives. So well written that I did not want to put it down.Willbe recommending this edgy original work.#netgalley #avidpressreaders
Vladimir by Julia May Jonas is beautifully written. The imagery of this book had me in a hazy, almost nostalgic state at some moments. The narration flowed so effortlessly.
Our narrator has an exquisite voice and we see the struggle of how the world views women as they mature. The pull between the various roles that women have to take up, mother, lover.
