A perfect Christmas read with a hot beverage (obviously coffee) and tons of blankets. It was a perfect blend of coffee and witchcraft. I really liked the cozy coffee shop setting. The characters were really likeable, especially Pearl, she is the coolest grandma I have ever read about. I really like how the book focused more on family and commitment. Although I really wished we had explored the witchy elements more.

Interesting but not unique in its concept - a cafe run by witches, with 3 women ie a coven. And a few simple spells, a romance or 2 and a happy ending.
Light reading with some humour and fun parts but not worth a series or more..

A fanciful coffee shop run by magical women. A barista that’s still trying to figure herself out. And a small town named Windia where the residents drink coffee and get into everyone’s business.

When a stranger shows up in town and puts her family’s coffee shop in jeopardy, Florence Mackenzie has to step in and do something to protect them, whether that’s an Espresso Off challenge, sabotage, or a good old fashioned banishment spell. But after the Mackenize women try to create a buzz by experimenting with a new blend of coffee beans, the residents of Windia suddenly start falling in love with each other. Florence chalks it up to the spirit of the holiday season, but when she starts falling in love (with the competition, no less) Florence starts to wonder if there’s something more bewitching in the air - or in the coffee?
Lovely story, a great storyline, interesting cast of characters and all capped off by skilful writing

This storyline was super cute and is a perfect Fall read. The main character, Florence, is super likeable alongside her family of determined women. The love interest in this story was also great and you could feel the attraction between the two characters jumping off the page. I will say the romance in this one was definitely not a slow burn as things moved rather quickly. I would have liked to see a bit more build up. Overall, the witchy aspect was fun and added a great twist to the story and I loved the family aspects and sense of community.

Florence and her family have a good connection and I think that's why I enjoyed reading what I did of their family and their coffee shop.

When I read the first chapter I fell in love with this book. I have found my passion for coffee and after reading this book I will be researching more about coffee.

My thoughts: Really cute, I would say autumn read (it's not but it felt like it was) or better winter read with some hot beverage. I really like the family relationship through out the whole book. The witchy part gave the book some sort of spark or spice. I wished there was more romance between the two characters, it felt that the love came too fast. Other thing that was bothering me: if they have business for so long why do they buy coffee from the local shop instead of buying it in bulks and for a lot cheaper than the store provides….
Brief synopsis: enemies to lovers story. Cute witchy romance between barista, Florence Mackenzie, from Portland and stranger who comes into the town and make a buzz. Florence and her family are trying to protect family home and beloved coffee shop. Espresso Off challenge, sabotage and magic is involved in this story.

Grab some coffee and read this story. :)

Thank you for this book!

Florence is back in Windia, the small town she grew up in. After losing her job she is back to help out in her family's coffee shop. There is a new rival in town, and despite her attraction to him, Florence has to stand up for her family.

Loved the characters, especially Pearl.

A short, fun read.

This was a sweet book, with just the right amount of angst and the central family and couple were charming. I particularly loved the family dynamics, and the fun coffee and witchy details. I could so see living in Windia! The progression of the romance was a little quick but generally a lovely read for a chilly afternoon with a cup of coffee.

I voluntarily received an eARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Being an ex-barista and a coffee coffee addict who loves all things witchy I had to pick up this book.

The author is excellent and atmospheric descriptions and you can feel the love they have for both Oregon and coffee. While reading I couldn't help wishing I was in a coffee shop myself.

Though there is a scene that gave me barista nightmares. No matter how much I may like the customer 2 hours before opening is terrifying. And they were much more welcoming then I would have been!

I think my main gripe is that I wish the romance was expanded on a bit more. It felt like they went from enemies to rivals then suddenly romantic. I just wish a bit more tension was added in that regard.

The family aspects were wonderfully charming and really suited the coastal vibes of the story

I love all things coffee and witchy so this was the perfect book for me! I loved the writing style of this and all the descriptors. I think the characters were developed well and I found myself wishing it were longer.

As the saying from the book goes, “There’s magic in every bean” - it is surely a magical story.

This book could be a good choice for you to escape from the madness of holiday rush or planning during the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas and New Year. It is light humor and a good read to curl up with a warm blanket and a hot MUG of coffee. Yes! A MUG! Take note of that. Trust me.

What a lovely little read! Beautifully paced with just the right about of subtle witchy goodness and romance. I got through this fairly quickly and honestly love how sweet this story is! I was getting hallmark movie vibes throughout (if you know, you know) Just the perfect book to cozy up to with a mug of coffee 😋

Florence is a barista who has just lost her job in Portland and as it’s approaching the holidays, she returns to her family who live in the small Oregon coastal town of Windia.

She finds out that a rival has made an offer for her family’s coffee shop, The Yurt. Her grandmother and sister-in-law have turned down the handsome Samson’s offer. It’s all hands on deck as Florence plans a series of events to drum up business and gain support from the locals.

But both Florence and Samson have been drinking the magical Serendipity coffee blend that seems to have affected the townspeople. Suddenly love is all around.

Is the attraction between Florence and Samson just because of the magical beans or is it for real.

This is a cute, somewhat magical read set in the charming Pacific North West. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it 🧚‍♀️🪄📖

Oh my God. Oh my God! I absolutely loved this book. I freaking loved it. You know how you get into a book and you're so connected and moderately in love with absolutely everyone that you just never want it to end? Well this was that book. And it was fantastically long and didn't drag for even a second. I could hardly put it down.
