Really enjoyed Evan & Josie’s book, but am very sad this family is done. I was completely surprised by Evan’s truth that he dropped on Josie when they were talking about their bucket lists. I’m glad that Josie & Evan got together in this story, even though there were times I didn’t think it would happen. There was a sweetness to their relationship that had you swooning & hoping things worked out. I enjoyed seeing all the Miller family again, as well as Rio, Yvonne & Innes. The drama surrounding Josie’s stalker/attacker kept me hanging on the edge of my seat waiting for him to pounce. I was also surprised by all the weddings but it was great to see them all moving forward. Definitely love this book & entire Morgan Valley series. Thank you to Kensington Books, author Kate Pearce & Net Galley for letting me read this book for an honest review.

Loved the previous books in the series and now this one. I am a huge sucker for a small town romance with some beautiful scenery. Very good summer read..

And here goes the last of the Miller brothers! Having enjoyed Ben’s (The Rebellious Rancher), Kaiden’s (The Rancher Meets His Match) and Danny’s (Sweet Talking Rancher) story, I was looking forward to read Evan’s story. As the youngest, Evan was always seen as the irresponsible one. The jokester, the one with his heart on his sleeve. The one with the big mouth, who can’t keep a secret.

But now, since all his brothers have found the love of their life, Evan wants to show his family that he can forge his own path. It is hard though, to be taken seriously after all these years.

Fortunately, he can always go to their neighbour ranch, of the Martinez family. There, he is treated as a friend by the ranch hands. And now, also Josie Martinez is back at the ranch. (Yes, the half sister of Rio, from The Billionaire Bull Rider). Josie was attacked brutally.

She has gone home to the ranch to recover from the anxiety attacks that she is having as a result. Fortunately, there is Evan to distract her. Together, they create a list of fun things to do, and they proceed in checking off things of the list. Because, when the holidays are over, Josie will leave, back to her job. For once in his life, however, Evan feels seen. Truly seen. So, how can he convince Josie to stay?

Wonderful, as always. Gotta love those cowboys! Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

I think this was my favorite of the series and I am sad that it is ending . Although part of a series it can be read as a standalone story.

Adam as the youngest boy was always carefree and a bit spoiled. He speaks without thinking which gets him in a bit of trouble at times. He meets his match in his neighbor Rio's younger sister. As feelings deepen and he embarks on his first sexual relationship, can this be the real thing or is it limited due to jobs, family, and commitments. You'll want to read it and find out . A great holiday read.

I received a Free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinions.

I cannot imagine being the youngest Miller boy. The family has been through so much, and Evan has been overlooked for most of his life. He only seems to get attention when he messes up or says something he shouldn't. He knows he needs to branch out but doesn't know how. Josie is a no-nonsense woman who has had her confidence shaken. She is trying to get her life back to normal. She and Evan realize that they can support each other as they do things they have always wanted to do. It takes a while because life keeps getting in their way, but they help each other to grow through honesty and forgiveness.

Evan Miller has always been the irresponsible one. He's the youngest son and so he's always just blended in. Josie is staying at her brother's place hiding out for a bit after something terrible happened to her. They get together at the rodeo and start hanging out. I wanted to like this one. It was OK. Evan seems immature at times and at times he seemed grown up and responsible. Josie seemed a lot older to me. Somewhere in there it just didn't work for me.

Josie has come home to Morgan Valley to heal after an attack by a stalker and to figure out what's next, not to fall in love with Evan but that's what happens. Evan, the fifth son (!) lives and works on the family ranch he's not going to inherit. His family life- his mom left when he was a young child and his father is a creep=isn't great to say the least but he's not the bad seed some think he is. Josie and Evan both have issues but they bond over a list they create of things they want to do- and they do them. And, of course, they fall in love. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC, I''d not read the earlier books in the series but that was ok (although I suspect series fans will enjoy this more than I did).

Evan finds the perfect one!

Cowboy Evan Miller hasn’t had much responsibility being the youngest son in the Miller family except work on the family ranch. He has been trying to figure out what he wanted to do in life when he meets a woman riding bulls at Rio Martinez’s ranch next door.

Josie Martinez has been staying at her half-bother’s ranch recovering after being attacked at her apartment in San Francisco. Josie is having a hard time trying to rebuild her confidence, but she doesn’t know if Evan is a distraction in trying to figure what she wanted in her future.

I love family series especially when they are set in small town or ranches, and we get two for one with the Millers of Morgan Valley because they make you realize that even the youngest son has possibilities when he falls in love with the right person.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Ah, the irresponsible child. The screw-up that doesn’t take anything serious enough. The one everyone expects nothing from that, it turns out, takes everything much more to heart that he lets on. That’s Evan Miller.

Josie is in the small town of Morgan Valley staying with her brother (Rio from The Billionaire Bull Rider) after a traumatic experience. She wants to forget her bad experience and build happy memories while also figuring out what she wants to do with her life. Does she want to return to her current career or do something else? Is she happy living in the city or is it just what she knows right now?

Evan and Josie have a delightful comfort with one another from the moment they meet. They have no problem teasing each other, but also find themselves backing each other up when they’ve barely just met. They start out as fun and light and quickly find themselves confiding and sharing things they haven’t with anyone else. I really love how these two interact with each other.

Something I appreciated about this story is Evan questioning how he thinks about his father and what happened between his parents. I’ve made no secret that I cannot stand the Miller patriarch. He’s a bully and a jerk. While he’s gotten better and grown from book to book, I often wonder at how his children can be so forgiving. Evan doesn’t seem to hold any lasting ill will toward his father at the end, but he at least questions the reactions the family and the town have had in comparison to how their mother is treated. (Not that I’m a fan of hers either!)

There was a bit of the connection between this couple that I felt got lost along the way. After a huge event it seemed they pulled apart. Not just in the narrative, but emotionally as well. It made me very impatient for them to reconnect as they had in the first half of the story. They eventually get there, but for me it threw off the pacing a bit.

I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

Excellent romantic story with wonderful characters and storyline. Evan and Josie meet in an unusual way. The blurb gives a good description of the book but there are many surprises that try both Evan and Jessie. Lots of cowboy family drama as well as some suspense. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading future books by Ms. Pearce.

It is always an entertaining event when one visits with the Millers. A variety of siblings and their significant others add so much to the basic romantic adventure of the couple featured. This wasn't my favorite story of the brothers, but still quite enjoyable. As usual, I skip over the intimate details.

This is Evan's story. He is the youngest son in the Miller family. He works on the family ranch and is thought to be the big mouth ne'er do well of the family. In reality, it is just kind of the role that he has assumed as the youngest son. The others are accomplished but what is left for him? He has dreams but they have been squashed by his father. His father is a jerk and was through the entire series. The series tries to redeem him after his heart attack but he was still a jerk and some of the things he has done are too big to sweep under the rug.

Josie is the younger sister of Rio, who is a rodeo star and has taken over the family business. Josie is staying at Rio's ranch after some things happen in San Francisco. She is an executive at the family company.

Josie and Evan meet and are an unlikely couple but their relationship works. The wind up each making a list of things they'd like to accomplish and working their way through the list together. But Josie has been hiding something from Evan. She was attacked in San Francisco. I think that too much of this part of the story was kept from the readers too. Towards the end, there are some scenes with firearms that were frustrating to me. At one point, in the middle of the danger, the sheriff takes away Josie's weapon saying that she shouldn't have it. Why not? She was proficient in its use and it was being legally used. An armed madman is after her. Why would he do that? It seemed like maybe the author's views were coming through but then why have firearms mentioned at all?

Last of the Miller boys finds his HEA

Evan, the youngest of the Miller sons, is somewhat adrift, living in the shadows of his highly accomplished and romantically paired-off siblings. All he wants is to keep doing his job on the ranch, until he meets Rio's younger sister, Josie, who challenges him to dream a little bigger.

I have loved every one of the Millers of Morgan Valley romances, and this is no exception. As the last, we're also treated to satisfying updates on each of the earlier couples as well as some resolution to the issues standing between their parents. I adored that this story brought the Martinez family full circle as well, incorporating the complex relationships between Rio and Josie and their parents.

It's a wonderful final chapter in a fantastic series, one you don't want to miss if you love contemporary cowboy romances. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Evan is the youngest Morgan male. He has been shown in the other books to be immature. He has finally started showing that he is a man to be proud of now. He meets Josie at Rio's ranch; she is his sister and staying there to get over being attacked.
Evan is interested in bull riding Josie is also interested. Josie is not ready to share her past problems with Evan. They are both drawn to each other and Josie doesn't feel that Evan is not his own man.
If you have read the other books, you know that Jeff is Evan's father and he's currently recovering from a heart attack; but he still manages to boss all the boys at the ranch. Evan and Josie slip away to a local rodeo to enter into bull riding event.
Josie has been working for the company that Rio’s father owns; and he asked her to come to San Francisco for a meeting. He is trying to get her back into the office; but she is not ready to return to San Francisco due to her stalker.
I have read all six of these books on the Morgan’s; this one ties up some loose ends in the other books.
I received this copy from NetGalley for a review.

Romancing the Rancher by Kate Pearce is the sixth book in her Millers of Morgan Valley series. Since this is the last brother in the family I am assuming this is the end of this series. That makes me a little sad because I have enjoyed this series. Evan Miller and Josie Martinez make a lovely couple. Their road to a happily ever after was fun for me to read about. I like this author's writing style and look forward to more stories by her.

Evan and Josie are an unlikely pair and meet when Josie comes to stay at her brothers ranch. They both make a pact, each will make a list of things they want to do and take turns completing each task off the list. What starts off as friendship soon turns into something more, but with Josies life in San Francisco, what kind of future can they have ?
This was light and easy read. I enjoyed revisiting the Millers and catching up with everyone. Overall an enjoyable book.

This story belongs to Evan Miller, the youngest and last of the Miller brothers that is still unattached. From the moment he meets Josie, Rio Martinez’s sister, he is smitten. But she is at a crossroads in her life and he is trying to find a place in the ranch and a purpose in his life.
Though the romance for me was just ok, what I really enjoyed about the book was getting a chance to “see” how the rest of the Miller brothers were doing .
As the final story in the series, loose ends were tied and everyone ends with their HEA. For that, it gets 4 stars.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Net. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Romancing the Rancher by Kate Pearce is the sixth book in the Millers of Morgan Creek. This novel focuses on Evan Miller, the youngest son of the Miller clan. He is seemingly content in his world, while battling his way clear from some ghosts of the past (which he thinks are larger than they are). Evan works on the family’s ranch and helps out neighbors when he can. That is how he meets Josie Martinez.

Josie Martinez is the sister of Rio Martinez, a big time rodeo rider. She seems determined and fun, but she is hiding under all that trauma, which she is trying to keep hidden. Josie and Evan agree to help each other with their bucket list, but along the way become friends, lovers temporarily of course. SURE….

Once again high in the Sierra Mountains, I have fallen in love with ranching and living with the Millers and the Morgans. Romancing the Rancher by Kate Pearce is a good read!

Kate Pearce travels back to Morgantown, CA in Romancing the Rancher, this time it's Evan's turn. I found this story to be a bit bittersweet since it's the last one in The Millers of Morgan Valley series. Family drama and a touch of suspense round out this romance and made for a quick enjoyable read. Hopefully this isn't the last we've seen of these characters.
