I had a great time listening to this short romance! I kind of picked this book up on a bit of a whim. I was in the mood for something light and fun and I thought that this one might fit the bill. I found this to be an excellent romance and the pair of narrators were able to elevate the story to the next level. I am so glad that I took a chance on this book.

Tori and Colton do not get along with each other, at least that is what everyone thinks. They have actually been hooking up with each other for quite a while and seem to like each other pretty well when they are alone, especially between the sheets. Their friends are determined to help each of them find that special someone which might just be the push both of them needs to admit that they already have.

Tori and Colton were both wonderful characters and I really liked them together. They had fantastic chemistry with each other and it was obvious from the start that they both had feelings for each other beyond hooking up. Their group of friends was also amazing and added a lot to the overall story. It was the kind of story that easily put a smile on my face.

Savannah Peachwood and Tim Paige did a phenomenal job with the narration of this book. I thought they both did a great job capturing their characters. They were able to add a lot of emotion and even some humor to the story and I thought that their voices fit well together. I believe that their narration added to my overall enjoyment of this story.

I would definitely recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance. This was a really fun romance with characters that were easy to fall for. I plan to read a lot more of this author’s work in the future.

I received a review copy of this audiobook from Dreamscape Media via NetGalley.

This book started off great! It was funny, and I was completely engaged and interested in the story. However, the issues I had were that there really wasn't a whole lot these characters were working toward except getting together. In my opinion, a really good romance author writes a book where both of the characters have their own depth and goals that they're working toward whether that be together or apart. I just didn't feel the depth and the story didn't pull me in like other romance books often do. It was just okay. I enjoyed the humor and did finish the story. I likely wouldn't read any more in this series.

This book was a short steamy romance that had me smiling and laughing from the very first chapter. The use of the best friends brother trope is done so well in this story. Not to mention the romance starts off with Tori and Colton being secretly friends with benefits.

I always love reading/listening to dual or multiple point of view stories, and I couldn't stop smiling when chapter four started and it was Colton's. Being able to learn that he has feeling for her just as she does for him was exactly what I was wanting. They both thought their arrangement was just about sex and while it may have started out that way it turned into them both wanting something more.

Their relationship starting as them annoying each other and bugging each other for years just because they could to them falling in love as adults was so precious. Not to mention several of their friends saw right through them trying to act like they didn't like each other.

The friendships within this book are so wonderful. All of Tori's best friends love and adore her so much and she feels they same way for them. They are all so protective and supportive of each other. The same goes for Colton and his friends. All of them are one huge friend group that love each other so much. They are a family (some are blood related but most aren't).

I do wish some things would have been explored and explained more. Such as Tori's relationship with her mom, how everyone meet, what's going on with everyone's situations, how the future looks for Colton and Tori's life together and whether they get married or not. The part about Tori and Colton very well could be talked about in the other two books in this trilogy. I feel like Kinsley and Josh getting engaged could have happened within the actual story and the epilogue could have been more centered around a flash forward for Colton and Tori.

Even with that I still really enjoyed this story. The audiobook narrators were amazing. Thank you NetGalley for an ARC of the audiobook.

This book was a little "meh" for me. While I did not hate it, I was never really drawn into it. The title is misleading, as none of the characters seemed at all introverted and there wasn't really much of any online dating (only briefly, and not really essential to the story). The characters were not particularly likeable to me. Tori and Colton both seemed like they were missing things that should have been obvious and were doing things that contradicted what they said or did otherwise. They didn't ever really seem to like each other, even when they said they did. I think this book could have used some more development of Tori and Colton's relationship. There also seemed to be a lot of backstory with other characters which made me feel like this was further into a series and I had missed a fair amount. I wasn't really confused by it, but I felt like I had been left out of the club somehow. All of that said, the writing was cute, the grandparents were funny (I LOVED the punny chicken names), and I do think there is potential for a a series around the other characters. This was a good book to have in the background while I did chores around the house. I liked the narrators and the fact that there were two of them. I do wish they had each said their own lines within each chapter rather than have one person narrate (whoever's point of view the chapter was from) and have them do a voice for the other character. I think it would have been nice to hear each narrator instead. Overall cute, but not my favorite.

These romcoms could be a hit or a miss. This was a miss. This was very typical and predictable. I didn't care for the main characters. The characters were one dimensional. And I am not sure why the title of the book is called "The Introvert's Guide to Online Dating". The main character was not an introvert and none of her friends are introverts. And not much online dating. The narrators were good, at least.

This was a great quick short read. Best friends brother with enemies to lovers with childhood friends and more. The introverts guide to inline dating is a steams romance that you’ll love.

This first book in this series was such a fun book. Colton and Tori made for a great frenemies to lovers book and a perfect way to start this series. In what started as a frenemies with benefits arrangement, this couple with amazing chemistry then started having feelings for each other. Once they accepted their feelings for one another and stopped fighting, they made for a great couple. The road to them admitting their feelings for one another was an entertaining read especially with the supporting characters.

In the audio book, the narration by Savannah Peachwood and Tim Page was performed well and both did a great job making this an enjoyable listening experience. This pair made did a great job bringing this story to life.

Overall, this was a great book that I would recommend to others.

The Introverts Guide to Oline Dating is the first audio book I've ever listened to. Tori is looking and ready for a series relationship, which is hard when she is in love with her "friends-with-benefits" Colton. Will they both confess their feelings or are they bind to fall apart?

The book starts half way through this "booty call" situation that Colton and Tori have going on. Growing up together, they have been enemies since they can remember. Their friend groups run together and it's only a matter of time before someone finds out or they crash and burn.

The chemistry and tension between Colton and Tori was evident from page one. Their booty-call deal is a cover as both characters have feelings for each other but are afraid of the fallout that could happen if the other doesn't reciprocate or if their friend group finds out. This book kept me hooked from start to finish and I look forward to reading more books from this author!

I'd like to say a huge thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

The Introvert's Guide to Online Dating by Emma Hart is a fun and punchy enemies to lovers romance. I was immediately drawn in by the hilarious dialogue and situations. I believe this is a spin off series, but it was easy to follow without having read the original book(s). The book was sharply written and moved quickly. The book revolves around Tori and Colton, who run in the same social circle but have always butted heads. When we meet them, they are several months into a friends with benefits situation and things are quite spicy. I didn't love the main character as she tended to act pretty immature even though she was 28. It was also frustrating that the main conflict was completely the result of Tori and Colton being unwilling to have a short, honest conversation with each other. I listened to the audiobook, which was well narrated and enjoyable. Overall, it was a fun short read.

Thank you Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for providing this audiobook ARC.

This book didn't work for me. I found Tori and Colton to be a bit immature and boring. I was not connecting with them and their relationship. The seniors at the senior center were a comic relief that felt way to over the top.

The description is about trying to online date and secretly hooking up with her best friends brother. Who she is in love with. So the option is to either stop it and try online dating or not.

The narration was very nice I enjoyed it.

The story I felt like it wasn't quite what it seemed. Yes her friends try to set her up on 2 dates in the story but she's not exploring the online dating scene. She actually doesn't seem like she wants a relationship or to date. So I feel like the 1st half of the description was false.

Also she hangs out with her hookup all the time. So it's hard to have boundaries between what she says she wants and doesn't want.

Plus to everyone they know its a duh they are together in secret.

I also felt like I was missing parts of the story like the friends that are in relationships like there was another book. But this is book one.

I just didn't connect with the story and felt like I was expecting more.

This book was a quick read, but full of fun banter, chemistry and great enemies to lovers story.
Colton and Tori wanted to deny their casual hookups were leading to more serious feelings so began seeing other people. The moment that happened they turned into jealous teenagers, the back and forth banter was quite entertaining because it was so juvenile. Colton decided to take matters into his own hands and start a conversation that needed to be had and it pays off for them in the end.
Although this is a standalone book, I did get the feeling I was missing some key details and relationships throughout the book; but not enough to detract from my joy of the story.

This book makes no sense! It’s premise is supposed to be online dating but it mostly about a enemies with benefits relationship. She never once is online dating though each of the chapters start with a “tip” from our main character about online dating. But she just keeps hooking up with this guy she claims to hate.

Then her friends set her up on a date? And maybe one time they look at her tinder? I was so confused. This was false advertising. The steam was good but that’s about the positives I have for this one.

Tori and Colton have all the same friends in common but they cant stand each other, at least not in public. In private they have been hooking up for months but after seeing all their friends settling down and having pressure to start dating, they both go on dating sites to find someone, but hadn't they found that person already?

This book was a super quick and light read and it was vwry enjoyable. It felt too short and as if I needed more but being part of a series perheaps the others would make me feel better about that part. I loved the banter between the characters and their friendships with everyone else, but I wish we had dug a but deeper on it.

Overall if you want a fun light read this summer, this could be a great fit.

⭐⭐⭐

3 stars

Let me start by saying that The Introvert's Online Guide to Dating is cute and the narrators did a wonderful job. This story is centered around main characters Tori and Colton. They begin as frenemies (?) with benefits, but they are both harboring secret feelings for one a other. I enjoyed the progression of their relationship and I LOVED the inappropriate grandparents. They may have been my favorite side characters in the story. The author gave life to the side character and made them an integral part of the story. I feel a story is better when the supporting characters have personality.

Why did I give 3 stars? I felt like the book didn't have a lot of substance and overall the story focused a lot on Tori and Colton's bickering and how they should hate each other. I wish we understood more of the back story and I really wish we were able to know what the characters looked like.

As a whole, it is an easy read but it did not stay with me after I finished.

***** audiobook review *****

Tori and Colton are finally here!! I feel like we’ve been teased with these two for ages now. These two are fighting their attraction or the feelings their attraction causes are what they are really fighting. Colton seems more aware than Tori is about what is happening between them. This was a fun read. It was what I needed after so many deep and emotional story. This was lighter and made me smile. I loved the banter, the fun and all the friends. There was a chemistry like you wouldn’t believe bursting from the pages. It was only a matter of time before things imploded in with the feelings getting in the way of nakie time.

Savannah Peachwood is an amazing Tori. She brought out the flamboyant personality so perfectly. Peachwood has a strong voice that fits Tori’s personality. Tim Paige was also great! He had a bit of a tougher narration because he had a character with an accent. However, I feel like he pulled it off. Both these narrators added to the overall enjoyment of the audiobook. They matched the tone of the story thoroughly.

Sadly i'm not going to be continuing listening to this book! I didn't even hit the half way mark and I had enough. This book is not what I thought it would be! The opening scene where her grandma is making a clay penis did it for me, I didn't find it funny, I found it kinda repulsive. It's very vulgar and just straight up dare I say porn! If you as a reader likes really smutting books that are written like a fanfic this is a book for you. I have to give this book a star rating but if it wasn't required I would give it a zero out of five stars.

Very witty dialogue. The characters were a little annoying. Tori and Colton are secretly frenemies with benefits , but fight like cats and dogs. Colton is Tori's brother's best friend.
I listened to the audio . The narrators were great. Savannah Peachwood and Tim Paige.
I would reco this for someone under 25.

I was provided an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This audiobook is narrated from dual perspectives and both narrators did a great job bringing Tori and Colton to life. They both did a good job distinguishing all of the characters from the White Peak gang, giving each of them a unique voice so you could tell them apart.

I am a longtime fan of this series and if you have been keeping up with Emma Hart's latest series you will know that Tori and Colton fight with each other constantly. Through the wisdom and sick humor of their friends they ended up on a not so blind date, which you will remember from The Bookworm's Guide to Flirting. If you haven't read that one yet or the series, don't fret, this is a standalone and the first book in a new series. It does take place in the same town and involves the same group of friends as well as some new characters. You can read them all independently, but if you want to read them in order I'd recommend starting with The One Night Stand Next Door, then The Bookworm's Guide to Dating and go from there. It will familiarize you with all of the characters and events up to the point that this book takes place.

OK...back to the book...Tori and Colton went on a not so blind date, drank too much, and now they have a relationship of convenience (aka frenemies with benefits). Their friends and siblings are all starting to settle into relationships and they want to see Colton and Tori happy, so they suggest online dating. Neither of them is really interested in dating in general, let alone online dating. They like their arrangement, which may or may not be turning into something more than just the occasional hookup. This has some pretty spicy scenes, so I'd caution against listening with your kids or at work without headphones.

Much like with every other Emma Hart book I've read this is filled with humor and great banter between all of the characters. The friend group is awesome always snarking at other, but at the end of the day they are there for each other no matter what. I also love the antics of the grandparents. The scenes with the grandparents are always so funny.

If you are looking for a romantic comedy featuring enemies to lovers with two very stubborn main characters, this is the book for you. I really enjoyed watching Colton and Tori figure out their feeling for each other and have to process what that would mean for them in terms of their relationship and their friend group. They were forced to communicate with each other, something they aren't very good at doing. I'm looking forward to reading London and Piper's stories later this year!

This one was just an okay read. If you love a raunchy romance with lots of steam and good characterization this could be more your taste. There was a bit too much explicit language as well but that didn't bother me overly much. I wanted a little more meat to the story but for a light fluffy romance this fit the bill. Much thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my ALC.
