All the stars to this ode to weird, introverted oddballs of the world!
It's amazing how a few four-panel cartoons can make you feel totally seen, understood, and that you're not alone. I love how relatable Andersen is in her cartoony alter ego. And I guarantee that any reader will get at least a few chuckles out of this one.

Many very happy thanks to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the early read!

I adore Sarah Andersen's cartoons, so snagging a sneak at Oddball was a pure delight. Andersen's comics are relatable, honest, and give me a giggle (or, as the case with the all *too* relatable ones, a groan). Honestly can't wait for my friends to see the Oddball collection!

I haven't had many interesting reads lately, but "Oddball" was definitelly one of them. I had a lot of fun reading Sarah Andersen's new book, relating to each short story and enjoying her drawing style.

She's always shone the brightest to me when she speaks about anxiety, social expectations and day-to-day struggles, and "Oddball" definitelly brings that to the table. However, while I enjoyed most of the book and felt deeply connected to some of the pages, I think the predominance of millenial humor and situations described within "Oddball" might push away other segments of readers.

I really wanted to pick this book up and, honestly, I think it's given me what I expected from it, which is a lot! I wish some pictures weren't so meme-related as I didn't really get them, but overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

Honestly, this was quite fun and I really flew through this. Most of the little comics are also pretty relatable. However, this installement in this series just wasn't my favourite. I feel like there was quite alot of repetition. A lot of the comics were also based on memes and the humour of them came completely of the recreation of a meme, which felt a bit lazy to me. On top of that a lot of the comics seemed to be about the difference in generations (you know the millenial vs gen z thing) and that also just got real tired really quickly. However, I'll always really enjoy reading these.

Andersen does not disappoint with this book. It is always refreshing to find something so utterly relatable. And just truly funny.

For Libraries: While classified as adult, there is no real content issues to be wary of. I think a great deal of teens can probably relate the the humor here. So if Andersen has fans in your community, this might be worth adding to your shelves.

Sarah is universally snort-your-coffee-out-your-nose funny. I'm always amazed how she fits all this dramatic motion into one, seemingly simply drawn page. I guess it helps that she completely gets me and those like me. can't wait to share this one with friends. I loved it.

I’m a huge fan of Sarah Anderson and her scribbles series. Her cartoons are absolutely delightful and volume four is no different. She has a wonderful way of expressing herself in these scribbles so that anyone can relate. Even with only a few panels, Sarah is able to have you laughing.

So give it a try and prepare yourself because once you start you won’t be able to put the book down!

I'm so happy I was able to have a first glance at this book! I love Sarah Andersen's work since I've discovered her on social media, and this book was, as expected, very good! It didn't disappoint at all! The drawings are very simple, yet they always made their job: make readers laugh! At least I laugh a lot! Some scenes were very relatable and very true; this is something I love in Sarah's work: it's always authentic, you always find some truth in it! Thank you Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for this eARC! And a special thank you to Sarah who never fails to make me laugh!

Couldn't open this file at all. Wouldn't come on the netgalley shelf. Had no way of accessing this title. It's a shame as I was looking forward to reading this.

This was another fun and relatable graphic novel by Sara Andersen. As always, the illustrations were creative, expressive, and delightful in Andersen's signature art style. "Oddball" is full of many brief relatable moments to enjoy and think further on. I do wish those had been longer or that there was something to bridge each mini story so that it didn't feel so random at times. My favorites were all the ones that involved cats. "Oddball" was a good read that I read quickly in one sitting.

Sarah Andersen is back with Oddball, the latest installment of the Sarah Scribbles‘ collection, and I could not be happier. She gets me, and most other millennials (particularly those of us who are a bit elder). This collection is packed with comics about the “evils of procrastination, the trials of the creative process, the cuteness of kittens, and the beauty of not caring about your appearance as much as you did when you were younger.”

I always hating waiting for a new collection, but I do love revisiting these pages long after I’ve torn through them the first time. This one is out in November, so be sure to keep an eye out for it, particularly if you feel that you need to laugh to keep from crying in this dumpster fire of a world we’re in right now.

Whenever I pick up a Sarah Andersen graphic novel, I truly never want it to end. Every page is filled with her iconic illustrations that depict the struggles of everyday life in the most hilarious of ways.

To those people who aren't socially awkward- you may not relate to a lot of the situations in this book! But to my introverted weirdos- this is exactly the book for you.

I laughed out loud on nearly every page (the last couple of pages are actually pretty profound and sweet), making this the perfect book to refresh your reading palette before your next hefty read.

Sarah Andersen- I'd love to be your oddball best friend!
