As someone who has followed Sarah's work for a long time, I was excited to see she has another collection coming out. In it we have a collection of Sarah's webcomics covering a range of topics from being an introvert, living in the time we live in, being artistic and more. I especially love her comics that highlight awkwardness and of course cats. This collection also highlights a few that are references to how hard the last couple years have been. Sarah does not disappoint with this collection and it is a great addition to the series.
This was so cute! There were so many relatable and fun comics. Every single book in this series has been different enough that they haven’t felt repetitive while, from what I remember, also continuing similar themes of awkward book/cat loving introverts.
A great, quick read that many would enjoy to read!
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC I’m exchange for a review!
funny, relatable, realistic. Sarah Andersen did it again. I laughed out loud.
Though I've been seeing her work on social media, a collection like this cannot be compared.
As always, Sarah Andersen's work is so funny and relatable. Made me laugh out loud at work. Kept me from getting more depressed today. Pure medicine.
I'm 87% convinced Sarah Andersen made this comic collection, Oddball, based on me. I mean, another set of hilarious, highly relatable, amazing comics that I nod vigorously along to? How is that even possible? She goes from talking about millennials to Gen Z to artists to authors to cats to dogs to plants to friends - oh, I could go on for ages! Every single page - even the cat pages - are relatable to me. (I'm the cat, really.) These will instantly make you laugh and make your day. 100%!
Someday I'm going to own all of Sarah Andersen's comics in physical format, but until then, I'll read them on my phone or laptop, trying very hard not to spit out my beverage on the screen because how I'm constantly CACKLING at how hilarious these are! So basically the lesson is, read these comics while you're not eating or drinking because otherwise, they will choke you with their hilarity!
Oh, I don't know how much more highly I can recommend this book, but YES! The highest recommendation there is, I give this book! It's GREAT!
Amazing. Just like every other Sarah Andersen comic. Short little comics that are very relatable about being an oddball and finding others that like and appreciate your uniqueness.
It is physically impossible not to love a Sarah Andersen book, I swear. I don't know of a single comic artist who is more relatable - who so fully and wholly understands internet culture, introverts, and pet parents - that is out here creating content. Plus, this collection features some newer comics of hers about how the pandemic has affected all of us, including one about how we may wish our brains would stay calm and stable through all of this but in reality we're all just screaming to ourselves on the inside. Too real, man, too real.
Plus, as always, there are a lot of little life lesson / advice bits sprinkled in among the comics; a lot of pages that just encourage us all to be kind to each other. Truly a delightful addition to her series of books, and I can't wait to get a physical copy to add to my bookshelf next to all her others!
As a huge fan of Sarah Andersen's art and sense of humor (she gets me!), I really enjoyed this one. It's so relatable and quirky and it always leave me wanting more.
I've been a huge fan of Sarah Andersen for years. If you regularly follow her and her comics, then you'll see some in this book that you recognize, but there are plenty of new ones mixed in as well. I feel like she has a comic for everything and I've never seen one I didn't like. They're so funny and relatable and I think everyone should read her work as it's a bright spot that can make you feel not so alone.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher I was able to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I love Sarah Andersen’s comics, I follow online so none of these were really new to me but I can’t wait to purchase this delightful collection of oddball comics to put next to the other collected volumes I have of Sarah’s scribbles. I feel so seen in these comics, me in all my introverted nerdiness, called out a little yeah but definitely seen and understood. So much fun.
Once again, Sarah Andersen has produced a fluffy and amusing comic book collection.
As a long-time fan, I always turn to her comics when I need comforting or healing.
Sarah Andersen is back on the odd-ball with this collection of her latest comic sketches from lockdown and beyond.
I've been smiling from beginning to end. As an anxious, introverted, clumsy person and cat owner; I feel so identified with the stories. I always enjoy reading her comics. From one oddball to other, thank you.
Thanks to NetGalley, Sarah Andersen and
Andrews McMeel Publishing for the opportunity to read this book.
Sarah Andersen always knows how to make me giggle. Her comic collection is filled with relatable little scenarios. Stories about an introverted, awkward and pet loving oddball.
Every time I finish one of Andersen's work, I want to read more! It's always bittersweet when I reach the last page in her books.
Whenever I feel overwhelmed by adulting, Anderson's comics will be there to get me a little bit relaxed. They are easy to read, which is why you fly through them.
Let's hope we will get more and more Sarah's Scribbles volumes!
'Oddball' comes out on October 12th!
These comics perfectly represent the quirky and anxious lives of a generation. Not laugh out loud funny but the sweet knowing smile and joy of someone who feels seen. Sarah Andersen has shown a vulnerability in her comics that continues in her fourth volume.
Love everything that Sarah Andersen does. A great collection of comics, would be a good add to any YA collection or if you want something to add to your coffee table.
Sarah Anderson always makes me smile. Her content is so relatable and her drawing style is very unique. This book will be an great addition to the other of hers that I already own.
This comic novel is SO good! I know Sarah Anderson from Twitter and her comics give me LIFE. The stories are extremely relatable and cute, my favorites are definitely the ones involving cats!
This book doesn't have any kind of linearity, but that doesn't make it bad, it's just a compilation of good stories. The lines of her drawings are perfect. I loved! Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this masterpiece.

It's was a very quick and funny read that some people will definitely relate with.
I am not a full introvert, and also I do prefer dogs insted of cats jajaja, but there were things so accurated, that made me feel represented.
Worth reading but It's just a book to pass the time.
I’ve read most of these online, but it’s nice to have them all together for a quick read. I’m a fan of the author’s work, which mixes relatable bits of cats, fandom, and a heaping helping of social anxiety.
While I’m GenX and this is aimed more at Millennials, I think it’s a good read for anyone looking for a humorous reflection of online life.
