As soon as I got this, I immediately sat down and read it in one sitting. Andersen never fails to make me laugh. This felt like a hug we all needed after the last year.

"Oddball" reminds us yet again, about the way Sarah Andersen has analyzed our society and has managed to summarize us in four-panel comics. She manages to embody our everyday thoughts and small moments that make us who we are.
I will once again, ask for her to stop reading my mind.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this book in exchange for an honest review.
I love all of Sarah's Scribbles books so far. Adulthood Is A Myth being my absolute favorite. Even though I'm a bit more in the Gen X category than Millennial, I could relate to many of these comics.
I hope she continues to publish more in the Sarah's Scribbles series.

Unfortunately, I am no longer able to download pdfs to my ipad. For some reason, when I pull up netgalley on my tablet, the navigation buttons within the site do not work (the three lines to get to the menu, the download PDF button). My tablet does not have the capability for the Netgalley shelf app.

Long-time fans, rejoice! The new fourth volume of Sarah's Scribbles is out! It is exactly what we're used to and exactly what we expect. It's humorous, doesn't take itself too seriously and predictably comments on the public discourse surrounding age, responsibilities, and daily struggles of being a struggling hooman.

Once again Sarah Andersen of Sarah's Scribbles hits the nail on the head with her current book of scribbles. Especially favorite is the Aging Millennial Humor gag using "chonk" "fren" etc. Too stinking funny.

Three out of five stars! Very cute, very funny, and very relatable! I have enjoyed Sarah's books in the past and this one is no exception.

Sarah's Scribbles has been a love of mine for many years, but with the pandemic and the changes in my Social Media use it ended up falling off my radar.
Opening this book was like sitting down with an old friend, talking about how things have changed, old and new stories, and inside jokes.
All throughout the book I found myself grinning, and wanting to share the panels with my friends, who I know would also find them funny and relatable.

Forgive me as I run around the room squealing, but it's here! The latest Sarah's Scribbles book is here! Oddball is a graphic novel that I have been anxiously waiting for, as I love Sarah Andersen's sense of humor and artistic style.
Oddball is the fourth book in this series, which is one part slice of life humor and one part self-confidence/appreciating everything that makes you odd. In short: I love it. Her comics always do such a good job of portraying the quirkier side of people, especially her own character (duh).
The thing I love the most about Sarah's Scribbles (who am I kidding? I love all of it) has got to be all of the 'adulting' humor laced throughout. It's so relatable. I may be an adult, but most of the time, it does not feel that way. This feeling is perfectly embodied within many of these comics, and it is hilarious.
The introvert/cat comics within this particular collection are my absolute favorites. If Sarah Andersen were to ever create a print of them, you better believe they would end up on my wall post haste.
Thanks to Andrews McMeel Publishing and #NetGalley for making this book available for review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Oddball is the 4th installment to the Sarah's Scribbles series, and it's full of funny and relatable comics. I found myself literally laughing out loud and thinking "that is SO me!" throughout the book. It's a fun, quick read if you want some laughs.

So enjoyed this book and had many laugh out loud moments. Sarah captures exactly what we think and are going through and I always relate to her books. I have a friend, that is also on Netgalley, and as soon as I see any of Sarah's books on here I immediately message her to let her know because she is a librarian and also a fan :)

Not quite as funny as some of her previous collections, although definitely relatable and enjoyable. The ones about pets were the best!

I love everything by Sarah Andersen and this was no exception! While reading this collection I constantly found myself saying omg me!, it was like Sarah had read my mind and it was so fun to read about other people experiencing the same love of their friends and awkwardness in social situations. There were so many comics in here that I wanted to send to my friends since it reflected our own conversations. I also loved all the cat comics are they mirrored my own intense attachment to a furry death ball. As always the art style was simple but fun and relatable, able to reflect silly situations and intense feelings so easily. I read through this so quickly and can't wait for more!
Thank you to netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for a free advance copy for my unbiased opinion.

I’m a big fan of these personal slice-of-life style graphic novels and had heard rave reviews of Sarah Andersen’s previous works – but I’d never gotten around to picking up any myself. That will change now that I’ve read Oddball because it brought me SO MUCH JOY. It was so funny and relatable. Literally every page was an absolute delight to read.
I felt seen in these panels in every sense - from my introversion to struggling with mental health all the way through to loving all things autumnal, cats and general fandom stuff. This book was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to check out the backlist.

I would like to thank the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this eBook.
You can always count on Sarah Andersen for hilarious and relatable comics and Oddball was no different. Keep them coming Sarah! I will read them all!

I love this fun oddball cartoon book. They are a nice break and laugh at the perspective of life. This isn't as great as some of the other books. But still ranks high.

Oddball is Sarah Andersen’s fourth Sarah’s Scribbles collection, though you won’t need to read the first three to enjoy this installment. As always, Andersen tackles topics such as the creative process, being an introvert, and, most importantly, cats. Some of the comics also brought up Millennial humor and as one, I felt rightfully called out. Honestly, whenever one of her comics comes across my feed I usually read it and think, “SAME.”
Personal favorites for people to reference once the book is out:
“I have a new boyfriend. He’s a real angel.”
Every single comic about cats.
Women’s bathroom line.
“I’m the villain.”
Some Authors
I also really like Andersen’s art style. It’s minimalistic, but still distinct.
Readers who already enjoy Andersen’s work will also be pleased with Oddball. It’s every bit as good as her other books, perhaps even better? The topics in her comics really resonate with me as an introvert, reader, and cat person.
Anyone unfamiliar with Sarah’s work should check out one of her social media profiles to see if Andersen’s art style and sense of humor are a good fit for them.

Thanks to the publishers for sharing this one. I love Sarah's Scribbles, and this collection was full of really relatable comics. My full review appears on Weekend Notes.

Thanks to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the digital copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
I have read Sarah Andersen's previous Sarah Scribbles books and loved it. This one was not an exception. Once again her book is a fun, entertaining light read. I had previously seen some of the comics in here on her social media, but it was nice to see them again. If you are a millennial you probably will easily relate to most of the book.
Check her social media to see if her comics are her style, but I definitely recommend Oddball.

This is an awesome collection of comics. All of them were relatable and I laughed many times while reading this. This was a very enjoyable read.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
