After three graphic novels, Sarah Andersen is still funny, relatable and relevant. Will definitely read everything she'll publish!
Though I've seen and enjoyed Sarah Andersen comics in the past, this was my first time actually sitting down and reading one of the books. This was hilarious, adorable, and so, so very relatable. Recommended for anyone else who's a bit of an oddball.
I now need to go back and read all the previous books in the Scribbles collection!
I love Sarah’s scribbles!!!! This was just the kind of Humor and escape that I was needing this week! When life gets rough or too serious, Sarah’s comics always bring a giggle out of me and a smile to my face!!!
I loooove Sarah Andersen, what can I say. The comics are hilarious, the illustrations are adorable, the humor is just right. She's one of my favorites!
What a great addition to Andersen's already marvelously hilarious and charming collection of comics that perfectly describe the oddball in us all. Thank you for the e-arc.
I was looking forward to reading this book so I was super pumped when I saw it on NetGalley!
More than any other comic series, this book focused on the platonic loves. Friends, pets, favourite media. This is probably the series of work I most related to of all her previous editions. It reminds that even when we may feel alone and weird for our interests (niche though they may be) there will be someone out there with the same proclivity for being an “Oddball.” But it also points out that you can be friends with people who AREN'T like you and those relationships are just as valuable and necessary (ie. Introvert/Extrovert friendships).
Her fandom comics are so on the nose, I had to stop myself from sharing them with my fellow fandom friends as this book has not yet been published. Some of these comic panels are definitely going to become memes.
One comic in particular struck me as something many women of the millennial generation experienced, which is the internalized misogyny we experienced and reinforced by hating “girly” things and how as we have gotten older, we have embraced the things we were told to hate. Fight me.
I too am in love with the cartoon frog. I too AM the cartoon frog.
If you are a Sarah's Scribbles fan, then you prayers have been answered, as there will be another edition of her book coming out in October 2021.
She has a rye sense of humor, that has a broad appeal, and though there are some cartoons I don't get because I'm old, she points that out as well, and pokes fun about how her generation will be completely hard to understand when she is old.
But a universally understandable thing to poke fun of is cats, where she points out that poltergeists might be the spirits of cats that just like to knock things over, because of course they would.
If you have never heard of her, her cartoons are online, and that would give you a good taste. If you know her, then you want this latest collection.
Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.
I absolutely love this author and her style of comics. I've been a fan of hers on social media for a few years now and I love that she has a book series now.
Absolutely adorable and genuinely hilarious. I'm definitely going to have to go back and read the previous books in this series!
As always, Sarah Andersen captures the true nature of people and adds some spark to it, so we won't feel less. I love her quirky sense of humor and will follow anything of her until I die. And they will always end way too quickly, like Oddball.
Some of the content were familiar, probably I saw on her website. Don't wait, just READ NOW!
When I see this title on Netgalley, I thought I need this immediately. You can find your pandemic self in the drawings. I've seen some of it before but they still make me smile. I had good time, I really missed her dark humor. And thanks to Netgalley for this arc.
I've followed Sarah Andersen on Instagram for a few years now, always loved her work and found it very relatable most of the times.
I find her drawings simple but very funny and cute and makes everything she wants to express easy to understand.
Loved every page ❤
I have been following Sarah Andersen’s comics on Instagram and when I saw she was coming out with another book I knew I had to get my hands on it. I absolutely loved her previous one Fangs. Her work is relatable and always such a fun read. I would definitely recommend it!
I want to thank NetGalley, Sarah Andersen and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the e-ARC of this graphic novel. Opinions expressed in this review are honest, my own and left voluntarily.
Loved it! Loved it! Loved every page, every joke, and drawing, especially those about introverts because, well, I am an introvert.
I've been following Sarah for a while now and I love her work. I find her drawing style so simple and yet so perfect for anything she wants to express.
Thank you very much, NetGalley for this one!
Thank you to NetGalley and Sarah Andersen for an E-ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I love love love these cartoons. They make me smile whenever I see them so being able to see these before they came out made me so happy. This comic is beyond relatable and witty. I love my humor with a little bit of sarcasm and painful truths. Oddball was a tremendous read. I highly recommend to everyone who loves to laugh and can sometimes be a little awkward.
I am a fan of Sarah Anderson and once again, Oddball does not disappoint! It's such a funny, cute and relatable collection of comics! Sarah never fails to make me laugh. As a cat lover, I loved the cat comics and I felt very seen when I read the introvert ones! And the facial expressions in the artwork are just too funny! I simply just loved everything about this!
Thank you to Andrews McMeel Publishing, NetGalley and Sarah Anderson herself for the e-ARC..
Unfortunately I cannot read this as the only option available doesn't work on my device..............................................................................................................................................................................
I am a huge Sarah Anderson fan, and just like her other collections, Oddball is perfection! All of the comics are so relatable, and I can always count on them to make me laugh out loud. Just like Sarah, I am also obsessed with cats and witches, so I think the comics about those are the ones that I love the most. The artwork is hilarious, and the people in them always have the funniest facial expressions that just makes the comics even better. If you are an introvert, oddball, or just an overall weirdo, read this book. I promise you will love it.
Thank you to Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley for my ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Sarah Andersen's comics are one of my favorites. Drowings are adorable. This is a true story. The book is quite amusing.
It was beneficial to me. I had a good time and had a big grin on my face when I finished the book. I was only sorry for the book's short length. Is it possible for me to make a request for more?
This is a book that I strongly suggest! Take a cup of coffee, grab Oddball, and enjoy.
Oh man, Sarah's cartoons are so fun, I love them! I have seen a few of the cartoons in this collection but that didn't make them any less enjoyable. This book would be a great addition to any home library. You could pick it up anytime you needed a smile or a giggle in your life.
