Flicker in the Dark and Night Shift were both middle of the road. Not the best I've read, but worthy of a read and intersesting. I read so many it's hard for me to find a 5 star read.

Beautiful selection.. I already read The Night Shift and The Resting Place. Now I want to also read The Shadow House.

I did not open the sampler in time to read the beginning of any of the stories, but have since purchased three of the books included in the sampler.

This was a great sample pack! Love all these authors and their work! Out of all the samples A Flicker in the Dark was my favorite!

This was just a sampler of titles from Minotaur. I was very interested in most of these titles and will be purchasing them for the library.

As always, the Minotaur Sampler was a great opportunity to check out authors, both familiar and new to me. It is also a terrific resource to add books to my TBR list, keeping an eye out for them in advance instead of being surprised when they show up on a bookshelf at the store. From this volume, I was extremely interested in Stacy Willingham and Alex Finlay. However, the others whet my interest as well. These samplers are terrific, and I wish more publishers released them.

After reading these samplers, I went ahead and got a few of the titles (A Flicker in the Dark was on point!). I love reading these 'appetizers' because you will not be stuck with a title you regret.

Wow! 4.5 stars! Several of the books sample chapters drew me in immediately. I'm excited to read these books! Thanks to Minotaur and NetGalley for the chance to sample some thrillers.

Overall great sampler all of the books seem great in their own way! I am particularly excited to read the night shift. the book had me hooked so quickly i needed to read more ASAP.
