Prince Yusuf and Zara are re main characters in this, the first novel in the series. Previously college sweethearts Yusef dumps Zara as he thinks she is after his money/title. His sister is a matchmaker and he agrees to a bride unseen. Imagine his horror when he Zara at the marriage ceremony and had to go through with it.
An interesting read. Will read the others to see how they read as stand alone novels and if they wor together as a series.
Prince Yusef Oman is not happy to marry his bride, sight unseen. But when he finally lays eyes on his new wife, he’s horrified to find himself standing beside his social-climbing ex, Zara Amiri, the woman who broke his heart once he discovered she’d only been dating him for his title. In his tiny kingdom of Al-Fatha, couples cannot divorce until after six months of marriage, so he’s stuck with her until then. I really enjoyed this book. It was hard to put down as it drew me in immediately and before I knew it I was in the middle of the book!
I don't even begin to understand marriage to someone you never met. But imagine the heart dropping when you see you were matched to the one person that crushed your heart. This book was one I didn't like but had to keep reading to see what happened. I was pulled toward disliking the characters and just disliking their interactions. How can it end well when they can't seem to even hold a conversation? I was surprised to end of liking the book.
This is a good book. The two main characters are Zara and Yusef. They meet in college and fell in love. They had a disagreement and broke up. Yusuf’s sister is a matchmaker. They both do interviews and do paperwork for his sister. They do not know who they are marrying. But they do get married to each other. They put their problems in the past and start their marriage to trying to trust. But Yusef has issues with trust and they have an argument. Yusef realizes what he loosing and goes after Zara, pledging he loves her and trust her.
When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect books to snuggle up with on any day. This one took by surprise! Leslie North is one of my favorites.
This is Zara and Yusef’s story. They had a relationship in college. Yusef broke up with Zara because he thought she was only with him because of his Royal background. His sister run a matchmaking service. He agrees to a match to get married sight unseen. When the cloth drops it is Zara. He doesn’t trust easily. They must spend time together. Can they find their way back to each other. I loved the book. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
The Sheikh's Surprise Bride is the story of Zara and Yusef second chance at love. I have always been a fan of Leslie North and she did not disappoint with this book. I found the storyline enchanting and although we have all read books about a second chance at love, this one was far different than anything I have read. I thought the storyline was very intriguing and Zara and Ysef so easy to love. All the characters in the book played a important part. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

This Is my third or second Leslie North Book i have Read. I do not know that it is that makes me continue reading her books, since i have not loved Any of them. But i must admit that They are very fast Reads and have good characters. I really wanna Read The sisters love story since she deserves love. I was happily suprised when i found out that it was a second Chance romance, because then it is lot of angst
It is an arranged marriage and you don’t see the bride until after you say I do and the veil is dropped. A match maker was used to set up this royal match. When the veil drops he is shocked to see his college girlfriend. Does this even have a chance when it ended so badly before?
This is a good story. Fast read.

I loved this second-chance romance! I loved Zara. She was such a strong, independent character who overcame so much! The chemistry between Zara and Yusef was incredible!

This is the first book I’ve read by Leslie North and I’m a fan. I went into this novel very apprehensive because I wasn’t sure what the roles or personalities of the characters would be, or if the novel would feature patriarchal issues. I was pleasantly surprised at how charming and beautiful this novel was. The character growth, the scenery, the plot line - everything was so enjoyable. I can’t wait for the next book. :D
Yusef won't trust Sara because of their past relationship that ended badly. I felt that if he paid attention to her actions he would have found out how wrong he had been. It takes him quite awhile to come to that conclusion. So much wasted time and energy. I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait for the conclusion to the series that is coming up next.
Very enjoyable read. Clara is working as a server for a reception when she meets the lead singer of the band Erik. Erik who is playing incognito as in real life he is a prince. Prince Erik of Fervian. They end up having a one night stand and go there separate ways. Clara was studying politics at Oxford but left to help her family out at home. Clara finds out she is pregnant but does not know how to contact Erik till she sees a magazine with his picture and name. Erik goes home to find out his brother who is next in line to the throne can not have children and it is up to him to provide an heir. Erik starts looking for a suitable bride. He is contracted by the palace attorney who lets him know of a claim that he is a father of a child. He finds out its Clara who he is still very attracted too. They decide to marry. A smear campaign starts against Clara and his family is unsure if she is the right fit. What follows is a wonderful story of Erik finding this way and Clara standing up for what she believes. I enjoy all of Leslie North's books.
