Oh wow this was so good.
Admittedly by the last chapter I wanted to bang Alex and daisy's heads together.
I'm glad it had a happy ending.
Jean is amazing she don't let anything get her down not even a stroke.
I don't want to add spoilers but poor daisy when the writer was in residence.
I can't wait to read it again.

A heartwarming autumn/winter read full of romance and interesting characters. I'd love to spend some time at Fox Farm which is so much more than a farm. Full of friendships, community and traditions, its a great read.

I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

Fox Farm is home away from home for Alex. He's spent many summer vacations there and he developed his love of the outdoors and gardening there. Now that's he's older and has taken on more responsibility, he's opened up his own gardening shop.
When resident artist Daisy finds his aunt after she's had a stroke, he just feels overwhelmed. How will he manage the running of Fox Farm this holiday season, his own gardening center and spend time with his aunt in the hospital?
The descriptions of the frost on the grass, the beautiful decorations and oh that Christmas tree reeled me right in. It's all festively decorated, but getting there was a real team effort. The whole village gathers to decorate and there was witty and fun banter as Alex and Daisy decorate, attend a holiday dance and grow closer. She's easy to talk to and he could really use a helping hand. Daisy is just what Alex needs to keep Fox Farm running this holiday season. I was pulled right in with this charming and feel-good story. Festive and bright a delightful holiday story.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for my digital copy in exchange for an honest opinion. While I ended up giving it four stars, I did go back and forth from 3 to 4 pretty much throughout the whole thing. And any issues I might of have taking it down a notch, I would say were probably all me....I am having an issue with books keeping my attention for the whole thing...even my favorite books haven't worked for me lately. But I will say that I loved the characters, I loved the story line and I loved the location. Heck, now I want to go spend Christmas at Fox Farm...

A lovely, cosy romance. Not too Christmassy as the story begins at Halloween and focuses on the characters as they overcome the various obstacles in the build up to the busy time for their businesses.

Alex and Daisy are thrown together when Alex's Aunt Jean has a stroke, meaning he has to oversee Fox Farm, with it's cafe and gallery, as well as his own plant nursery business. As the resident artist, Daisy proves invaluable in providing an extra pair of hands as well as helping to solve problems which arise.

Neither having had particularly happy childhoods, there are some setbacks and crossed wires along the way but overall this is a heartwarming romance. The love scenes get steamy but not graphic.

Since we’re still in the Christmas season, I figured I’d enjoy reading another Christmassy book. Christmas at Fox Farm by Helen Pollard has been in my TBR (to be read) pile for over a as yearand I felt Now would be a good time to read it since I’m behind schedule. Why not, right?

Alex spent many summers with his Aunt Jean and Uncle William at Fox Farm. It’s where he grew to learn to love gardening and developed a close relationship with his aunt and uncle. Now that he’s older, he started his own little gardening shop not far away.

Luckily he’s nearby because he received a call that Aunty Jean had a stroke and now he needs to help watch over Fox Farm and swing by the hospital as well as run his own business. Yikes! Looks like Alex will be stretched more than ever before. And when he takes a peek at the financials at Fox Farm, it raises some alarms. Has Fox Farm been surviving off of Aunty Jean’s savings? How can that be?

And takes things into his own hands while his aunt is unable to run the farm. Except it’s Christmas season and there’s so much to do at both Fox Farm and Riverside, his business. The attractive and sweet Daisy, the resident artist who found Aunty Jean, lives in the studio next to Aunty Jean’s cottage. Alex finds her easy to talk to and with a good head in her shoulders for advice.

All goes well until Alex’s cousin, the incorrigible and full of himself Sebastian, rolls into town demanding to get his way of Fox Farm being sold. But it’s not up to him as Aunty Jean still has her wits about her and still the shots. After all, it is her farm. Sebastian creates all kinds of havoc for Alex and eventually gets to Daisy as well.

Just because his banner is on Aunty Jean’s will, it doesn’t mean he deserves any of it with trying to sell off on her life’s work. Sebastian’s not one of Fox Farms favorite people it seems. But he sure loves to meddle!

Alex does renovations and changes to the property in hopes of increasing revenue and encouraging people to stay to shop and enjoy the atmosphere. Sebastian isn’t pleased. The changes seem to be a great choice that increased the traffic, people are happy and happy people buy stuff!

He even let out the cottage for a few weeks to an author who needed inspiration. This was extra income that didn’t expect much out of Alex. While Sebastian didn’t approve, it certainly helps being the financials closer to order. Alex is always looking out for the best interest of Fox Farm with the help of Daisy.

I give this book 5 out of 5 tiaras. Maybe I’m in a Christmassy mood. I really enjoyed this book and all the nuances that goes with a relationship, family or otherwise. Bring that I live in Hawaii, feeling like I was at Fox Farm during these winter months is a pleasure for me!

I loved this festive read and it had a real feel good quality to it. I loved the characters and thought the plot was cute, overall a nice easy read

This book takes place from Halloween to Christmas (so it's not all about Christmas!) So it's perfect to read this holiday season. If you're looking for a heartwarming holiday read (or are a fan of Hallmark Christmas movies), I think you'll be a fan of this one.

This was a great read for me. Despite some heavy issues, like Jean’s illness (which occurs super early on), and some sad background stories to some of the main characters, it manages to be a really heart-warming and uplifting story. I felt like the heaviness was balanced well, and sort of belonged in the story rather than feeling like it had been pushed in – everything that was there felt relevant to the story and the characters.

I really liked the way the relationship developed between Daisy and Alex – I think this sort of thrown together strangers to reluctant friends blooming into a romantic relationship might be my favourite. Because I know people like to know when they’re choosing a romance read, this one is more sweet than spicy, and the scenes fade to black before they get much past PG. The book has a strong cast of supporting characters – we see different amounts of depth from them depending on how close to the main characters they are, which worked for me to give the world a kind of fullness beyond the spotlight of the main story.

The setting was one of the things that drew me to this book, and I felt like it delivered what I was after. Fox Farm sounded like a super cosy property, and it felt super festive even though Christmas wasn’t really central to the plot (I did love the Christmas lunch scene though!).

I enjoyed this one and would recommend to anyone looking for a sweet, up-lifting wintry romance read.

Oh, be still my beating heart, this has it all, everything I want in a book is right here within the gorgeously festive pages of this book.
Christmas (you can never have enough Christmas books)
Yorkshire (yes, I am biased hailing from Yorkshire, but I can never turn down a book set in my native county)
Romance (no explanation needed!)
Christmas at Fox Farm is all about family, love and growing older, it's a wonderfully feel-good festive story that will really tug at the heartstrings. I love that Fox Farm isn't your typical farm, it's like a community within itself with a cafe, and art gallery, it supports people no matter where they come from in life in a very natural and kind way which brings together the community. I really love that!
I keep saying that this is a lovely festive tale, but I have to be honest and say that this is more of a seasonal romance, it starts end of autumn and takes you on a whistle-stop journey right up to Christmas, so we get the festiveness feels but also the exciting run-up.
This is a wonderful, delightful and easy book to read, one which will leave you in a happy mood!

A lovely book that gets you in the real feels for the season, our story is under way from Halloween to Christmas,

Helen Pollard writes lovely books that just give you that cute smiley vibe despite it being a romance which isn't always my favourite genre to read. However, the book pulls in different ways for genre, for example it's quite big on family and friendship allowing traditions to seep into the story line. The book has a lovely heart warming, seasonal vibe to it and I just loved that, I loved the descriptive writing and the warm fuzzies that it gave me, I actually didn't want to finish the book in case I had to start something else less Christmassy which would make me feel disappointed and sad!

It wasn't all roses in this book though, I found the characters pretty irritating, except Daisy she was lovely, but the others just seemed to get on my nerves! I found Daisy to be the worker in this book, she was a character to admire as she seemed to just put so much into the farm, I like a girl with gumption!

Thank you netgalley for my free ARC in return for my review.

The cutest little story. You won't regret picking this up. Very entertaining and will make you want it to be Christmas forever. Could be a Hallmark movie and I'll be here for it.

Fox farm is a delightful craft centre that gives local artists the chance to showcase their work. When they realise that the farm is in need of a little help, they draw together to try and save the centre. A lovely book with a great setting, love, friendship and the desire to save the farm. Perfect Christmas read. I loved the characters and felt that Daisy really is going above and beyond to keep everything afloat.

This Christmas , cozy quaint little farm, is not your average farm. No animals here but instead, a picturesque place complete with a cafe, and artist on site names Daisy. She along with Jeans Nephew Alex must help to save the farm after Ale’s aunt has a health crisis.

Filled with dreamy Christmas vibes that make me want to visit this place and romance to fill your heart this book is perfect for the holiday season.

Cozy up with a hot drink, a snuggly blanket and this book on a stormy day and you will be glued to your seat to find out what happens in this magical place.

Thank you to Bookcouture and NetGalley for the digital copy of this book.

It's not my favorite but it was a simple cute romance book. The farm sounded delightful. However the characters fell a little flat for me. The pace was a little slow. However I liked the emphasis on family, friends and traditions.

What a beautifully written holiday book! The setting along with the characters won my heart. :') The romance made me swoon and I kept rooting for Daisy and Alex throughout the story! The ending was really satisfying but I kept wanting more. I cannot wait to read more books from this author!!
Many thanks to the publisher for the review copy. <3

This was a lovely book, and I'm sorry I took so long to read it. You cannot fail to empathise with the characters, especially with Alex's relationship with Sebastian, you can feel his (and the rest of the characters) pain.

This is a book about courage, stepping out and family loyalty, although the family isn't necessarily blood. It shows how people will actually stand up for their neighbours and their environs. It reaches out to the reader with warmth, and encourages us to do the same. That it is never too late, not to forget the people who look out for, and after us, and to work together,
