Treasures that Span Time
Heirs of Falcon point is a brilliant work that brings history to present day. It connects an intriguing past with the heirs of a present day treasure.
I began this book not knowing what to expect from 4 authors working to Bring a story like this to life. I wondered at how the authors worked around scenes where more than one main character met, especially those who were written by different authors. However, much to my delight A.L., Traci, Paige, and Sian all brought their individual parts into one seamless and cohesive manuscript. The ability to create a story like this one takes special talent and I applaud these four women who reached across the various Genres, time periods, and historical information to create something so priceless. I cannot wait for more of the Heirs in future works.

Leopold Lang had to decide whether or not to support Hitler and the Nazis, and the consequence of his choice was death. The Lang children flee for their lives, leaving behind their home, their country, and their family name. Years later, the descendants of those Langs are discovering their ties to the Lang home of Falcon Point, but reclaiming their heritage puts them in danger of ending up like Leopold Lang.
While the Langs’ story is compelling and intense, I had a hard time getting past the first quarter of the book. I felt tricked into loving the original Lang children and investing myself into their lives when the story abruptly changed points of view to one of their descendants – long after WWII was over and the Langs I had been introduced to were dead. The book became impossible to put down again once hit men were hired and characters were running for their lives. My favorite part of the book is how exciting it makes family history; I certainly wish there were letters and secret messages from my ancestors for me to follow into foreign countries.
The characters mentioned are implied White, being of European descent. The mature content rating is for alcohol use; the violence rating is for gun use, knife use, other weapon use, and murder.

DNF at 25%.
I'm sure it's great, but it's Just not the story for me.
*Thank you to the publisher for this eARC.
I love when these ladies get together and write a winning story. I love how because of that, we got multiple points of views from the characters. Karl was probably my favorite. The time period was fun! And the message about the importance of families was sweet. Highly recommend!
This story had a great blend of history and contemporary. I loved the mystery and suspense element. the characters seemed to come alive on the pages. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
“We just have to slay our dragon and go back to claim our castle.”
“It’s about love, a willingness to sacrifice for each other, and a hope for the future.”
First off I’d like to say that this cover is so alluring and mesmerizing. That alone can pull you into the emotions of what’s inside the book. Secondly, Heirs of Falcon Point was written by four great authors. I don’t know how they pulled off writing the story with such cohesion. It flowed so smoothly that I don’t know who wrote what part. That’s real talent. They pulled it off with a BANG!!

First off, let me just say -"You have to read this book!" The story from start to finish is excellent.
Eighty years ago the Lang family lost everything to the Nazis when Austria came under their control. The three Lang children managed to survive the violence that came to their home but it forever separated them in a world being torn apart by war.
Fast forward to today and we are introduced to the descendants of the Lang children and the descendant of the man responsible for forever altering their lives and their world. Now, these cousins have never met one another nor were they aware of the existence of each other. But somehow they are all finding their way to the truths of their grandparents' (or great-grandparents') pasts. Anna and Cole have been searching with little to no success while Tess and Lars had no idea of their family's past.
But someone is determined to keep the truth hidden and prevent the Lang children from claiming what is theirs by birth. And if necessary murder is an option that could be employed to silence them forever. And these heirs have no idea of the danger they are in.
I really enjoyed this book - it was one of those can't put it down books. Before this year all of these authors were new to me and before this book I had only read Paige Edwards. When you have four authors create a book one would expect some weak spots where their work comes together but this book was excellent and seamless throughout the story and during scene/character transitions. I, for one, would love a follow-up book staring all of these characters just to see what happens next in their lives. That being said the story does come to a satisfying conclusion, it's just that I really enjoyed getting to know these characters so much.
I was provided a complimentary copy of this book with no expectations but that I provide my honest opinion. All thoughts expressed are my own.
Mystery, contemporary and WWII; some violence so PG-13
Family in the past and present, mystery and property involved and a secret from WWII. Grandchildren and heirs of the original family who escaped the Nazi's are brought back to claim their inheritance and solve the mystery of their families escape, fortune and how they lost contact with one another. Perfect mix of mystery and suspense. Can't wait to see where this series heads! Loved the various careers and background of the heirs, and the way this story unraveled! Fun mystery, and perfect suspenseful ending! I'll definitely be watching for sequels in this series!
I received an ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review, my opinions are my own.
Such a fantastic book! One of my favorites. I love all these authors and it was great to read something that they created together. It didn't feel choppy or like different people wrote it. It was streamline and very well done.
This book does not cross over with Abramson’s other books.
This group-written effort starts off a bit slow as the Lang family make their escape from the Nazi regime. Once we jump forward to their modern-day descendants, things definitely picked up. This was not as gripping as Abramson’s solo endeavors, but there was definitely some intrigue to propel the plot forward—as well as an assortment of relationship types to keep those who are in it for the romance going.
I always wonder about group-written books, and there’s a fun guide at the beginning for who developed which characters. There are no shifts in voice or style to indicate that there were multiple writers at work.
Possible objectionable material:
The escape from the Nazi’s could stress some out. People get shot. A hit and run accident. Perilous situations.
Who might like this book:
Those interested in WWII and the aftermath. Those who like mysteries. And, of course, romance fans.
Thank you to NetGalley and Covenant Communications for the eARC, which was provided in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

I loved this book from the very start. I don't often read books about either of the world wars, but I was captivated right away. I love how all of these authors came together to make this book and how it doesn't feel like it was puzzled together. It was a fun read and so worth it.
This is a book of historical fiction, of past and present with a bit of suspense, romance and mystery. It is a great book that you won't be able to put down and you won't want to put it down.
The story is somewhat a dual timeline but most of the story revolves around the present and I felt the past could have been a bit more prevalent but we do get a glimpse of the past and how it relates to the story overall.
The story revolves around the Lang family (past and present) bring the newest generation of the Lang family together to delve into their Austrian heritage and this is where it gets interesting. What happens now is the piecing together of the past, what happened to the family and the estate, the secrets and then there is someone that doesn't want the the mystery of the past to be reveled.
Great characters, all well rounded and interesting, the plot is intriguing and interesting and for a book written by 4 authors it flows rather well.
Highly recommend as it has everything a good book should have and more.
I was very excited to read this trilogy, yet, it was archived prior to my download.
However, I am going to peruse buying a copy, as I have read numerous great feedbacks about it.
Phenomenally written, Heirs of Falcon Point is a story I cannot stop thinking about. From the first chapter I was completely caught up in the Langs’ world and the suspense just continued to build from chapter to chapter. Reading this at night was a mistake because my heart kept racing and the pages kept turning. Who needs sleep when there is a mystery to solve and wrongs to be made right?
I cannot believe this was written by four different authors because the story is so seamless. The romantic suspense is a level 10 and I loved all of the different points of view. The story definitely was well rounded and I enjoyed putting the puzzle pieces together with the characters.
Four authors, one powerful story of love, loss, and family. Heirs of Falcon Point is a moving and evocative story that readers will remember long after they have read the last page. I am hopeful that the story will continue and that there will be more to come in the future. This is my favorite book of 2021 and I predict it will win many awards. If I could, I would give it 10 stars, it deserves a perfect 10! I received a copy of this book for free; all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I absolutely loved how this book was written. The beginning pulls you right in to the story and those first chapters were thrilling and heartbreaking at the same time. The story did slow for a bit after that for me, but it didn't take long for it to pick right back up. Each of the cousins were written well and I loved getting into the head of the bad guy. There are some great twists and well-written action. I definitely had some favorite characters.
This book just might be my favorite of the year! Four authors teamed up to write a rich and suspenseful tale that spans from 1940 to present day. It centers around a fictitious estate, Falcon Point, in the upper Austrian area. The setting is given in beautiful, vivid language as the plot moves at a nice clip. The characters are fascinating, both the likeable and unlikeable ones. So many personalities and motives and opportunities for things to go right or wrong. This book was a page turner!
If you like historical romance and/or suspense, then this book will likely be very satisfying for you.
Engaging and intense from the very beginning, I couldn't help but be completely swept into a world full of intrigue and suspense as the Lang descendants fight for their birthright, trying to keep one step ahead of those who would stand in their way.
This was a wholly engrossing read, I didn't want to put it down because I just had to know what would happen next. I liked how it kept me guessing while they uncovered pieces to unravel the mystery. I loved getting to know each of the present day characters as they reconnected with their heritage, revealing secrets from the past.
Overall, I was so impressed with this book. I went into it not sure what to expect and how it would function as written by 4 authors. But it blew me away, and I thought it was brilliant how all the different parts of the story were blended together into a whole, rather than separately into shorter interconnected stories as had thought it might be. A well developed plot, with captivating characters, excellent pacing and flawless execution. I loved how it blended suspense with a historical twist, two of my favorite genres, in this exciting intrigue filled adventure. A satisfying read, with excellent relationship building, a twisting plot, and many surprises along the way. Highly recommend!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
This story starts out running and doesn't slow down until the last page. The Lang family is on the run and are separated as they flee the Nazis. I admit, I was disappointed when we were taken so quickly to modern-day times. Not because I didn't enjoy that part of the story, because I really did, but because I wanted to find out what happened to each of the Langs after they were separated. Maybe that will come in future stories? (Hint, hint!!) Since I'm all about dropping hints, I wouldn't mind separate stories for Anna, Cole, and Tess either. :)
I don't think I've read very many books with multiple authors, and I was a little nervous about how it would turn out. I didn't need to be worried though, because the story came together so well, I couldn't tell it was multiple authors writing it. This story has mystery, suspense, history, and even a little bit of romance. Wonderful characters - even the bad guys - make this a winner in my book.
Do NOT mess with the Lang family. They are smart and can think outside the box!
The thing that amazes me is that this novel is penned by four authors. It is one story that runs seamlessly between the different characters. It is told from multiple viewpoints, so I'm wondering if they all took a character and wrote their point of view? I really can't tell. I was so engrossed in the story and the plot that I didn't pay attention to see if there was a different writing style. As I said above, the transitions were wonderful!
The story starts in Austria at the beginning of Hitler's grab for power. Austria has succumbed and the Lang family does not want to support him. When push comes to shove, the family pack up to leave, but not all of them will be escaping. While trying to escape the children are separated. They each go a different way and thwart the military's efforts to capture them. If this scene doesn't catch your attention and interest, then I don't know what will.
Then the story comes to the modern-day. Someone wants to stop the descendants of Leopold Lang from taking back their estate. The funny thing is that until the trustee makes a move to renovate the Lang grandchildren do not know about each other or their inheritance.
The book has quite a bit of suspense and a little bit of romance. I had a hard time putting this one down. From what I understand, there will be more stories coming from the Lang family. I can't wait to get to know them better and find out how their love interests work out.
