This book drew me in from the beginning. The suspense kept me turning the pages to see how it all worked out. It’s amazing to me that four authors wrote this together. The characters and story development are well done. I loved it!

#BookReview: HEIRS OF FALCON POINT by Traci Hunter Abramson, Sian Ann Bessey, Paige Edwards & A.L. Sowards

Wow, I can finally breathe. This heart pounding suspense and mystery story was really good. It has captured my attention from start to finish. It’s not my normal choice of genre, but I am glad I decided to read it.

The four authors did well in creating a spellbinding family drama and tension with a touch of romance. I have only read Ms. Abramson’s work. I am now interested to read from the other three authors too.

The plot was well paced. The characters then and now were well established even the antagonists. The story was mostly set in the present day but the history at the beginning was really good. I didn't want to miss anything until the end. The time period change and the varying characters' introduction into the story were all seamlessly done.

I liked how the heirs worked well together to recover their inheritance. They experienced a lot of life threatening events, but their legacy created a bond among them. Leopold’s letter was really meaningful. I love it. I want more stories about the Lang family. I highly recommend this book. 5 stars

I really loved reading Heirs of Falcon Point . I enjoyed the little bit of mystery and suspense. I liked learning about the children before they left Falcon Point and what became of them during and after the war. I was intrigued with each family's story and how they eventually found each other. The little bit of romance was a plus.
I wish the ending would have included more of what happened next but over all it was a fun read.

This multi author book was flawless. There were no seams in the book where you would expect to hear multiple voices. The continuity was fantastic and the piecing together of this story was amazing.

I loved the historical background and found myself immediately drawn in to the mystery in the WWII background. The premise of the Nazi's involvement in this family had me emotionally charged from the beginning.

The premise of this story is unfortunately too possible which adds to the realism. While I could have read the historical books about the Lang children and what happened to them during WWII, the glimpses of the past as the characters pieced together the mystery were very revealing and the timing of reveals kept the pacing of the story going.

This was a story I couldn't put down and it was in a word, fantastic. I hope there are more where this came from.

I received an early copy through the publisher and NetGalley and this is my honest review.

“Red-white-red, Until we’re dead.” Leopold Lang, a widower and true patriot of Austria, refuses to join the Nazis that have taken over his beloved country. Suspecting Hitler’s intentions, he made multiple plans to flee with his three children to safety, but as we know the best laid plans often go awry.

Decades later fate has brought the heirs of Falcon Point together again, each with fractured information regarding their heritage. Cole, Anna and Tess work to piece together the story of the Lang family, and why they fled their family home so long ago. This is more than a genealogical search though, as Falcon Point is worth a large sum of money and the current trustee Gunner Sauermann, has plans for this estate and the money he earns from it. We quickly learn Sauermann, will do whatever necessary to keep Falcon Point out of the hands of the Lang family.

Somewhat disjointed, which is to be expected as this novel was written by four authors, the Lang family’s story both past and future is a fast-paced adventure. Heavily plot-driven we jump from one family member to the next, until they all end up back where the story begins. This book reads like an action movie. My favorite part is the historical beginning, but I am partial to historical fiction, so that is no surprise.

Heirs of Falcon Point is a quick and entertaining read! Thank you to Netgalley, Covenant Communications, and of course the authors for the advanced copy. All opinions are my own. Heirs of Falcon Point comes out on October 11th!

Wow! This is currently my #1 read for 2021. I sat down in the evening to read for an hour, but was drawn into the plot immediately and couldn't stop reading until I was finished.

The historical portion of the book is written by A.L. Sowards who immediately ramps up the suspense. The contemporary portion was co-written by the remaining three authors. Even though I have previously read books by all three of the authors, I couldn't tell which author wrote which portion. The narrative was seamless.

The ending was satisfying, but left me wanting more. I wanted more information on the events between the end of the historical portion and the beginning of the contemporary portion. I hope there are follow-up books to this one.

Thanks to NetGalley and Covenant Communications for the digital ARC. My opinion is my own and a positive review was not required.

I really enjoyed this book, written in multiple perspectives and periods. It was clearly identified in which period or who's perspective you were reading from, which made the book highly addictive.
The book focused on family saga and mystery from WW2 that carries onto descendants of 3 siblings and the journey they took after having to flee their ancestral home
The only complaint I have is that I wanted a sequel as I'm curious to see on what happens with all the descendants.

Wow, this book was intense and amazing! I read a few pages in the morning, but finally settled in with it to read for a little while before bed. And I had an insanely hard time putting it down to get some sleep because it was just so action packed, and I was dying over the characters and what was going on!

I loved how this book started in 1940, and then switched to a present day setting. It gave the story a big picture feel, and I was crazy invested in the modern day part because of the events from the historical section. There are a lot of characters, but they all felt unique and fully fleshed out, so I had no issues telling characters apart.

This book is suspenseful, gripping, well-written, and interesting! I highly recommend it!

5/5 stars!

This impressive story, cleverly crafted by four talented authors, had me on the edge of my seat!  I loved the blend of suspense, history, romance, and problem solving that carried me through to an exciting and deeply satisfying ending.  The breadth of expertise that added authentic details to the story and the seamless weaving together of so many characters' plot lines are standouts in this unique book!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions expressed are completely my own.

I would rate this book higher than 5 stars if I could. Seriously, this is one of the best suspense books I have ever read! The story was so unique! I have read books that take place during World War II, as well as ones where the characters are trying to restore artwork that was stolen by the Nazis to the descendants of the original owners, but this is the first book that I can recall reading that starts out around WWII with a family trying to escape Austria before the Nazis completely take over, then flashes forward eighty years with descendants of that family who aren’t aware of each other, yet are all looking for the same thing.

If you like suspense books with a little romance, you need to read this. And make sure you clear your schedule for a few days, because you will not want to put it down!!

This book was fantastic! It really held my interest I hated having to put it down and I couldn’t wait to get back to reading at the end of the day. The beginning was a little confusing at first but it all made sense as the book progressed.
The storyline was fascinating. It had everything you want in a book- action, mystery, romance, etc. and the ending was satisfying.
The characters were well developed and likable (except the villain).
Definitely a book I would recommend!

This book had me hooked from page 1. I love how 4 authors were able to weave this tale together so seamlessly, while also having so many different characters to switch between.
This book starts in Austria after the anschluss and then leads to current day. I loved getting a glimpse of history from the perspective of the fictional Lang family. Leopold Lang is one of my favorite characters I have ever read. Between his impressive planning and his love for his family, he really made this book for me.
If you are looking for a book filled with action and a touch of romance, this is a must read.

Add this to you TBR list now! This book is written by not one, but 4 award winning novelists: Traci Hunter Abramson, Sian Ann Bessey, Paige Edwards, and A. L. Sowards. My attention was grabbed from the first page to the very end. From just before WWII to present day. It was an adventure worth living in my imagination as I read. The history, the suspense, and the romance makes this one fantastic book. It is one book I hope to see on film someday.

I could NOT put this book down. The beginning had me hooked, and as the modern part of the story unfolded, I found myself saying "just one more chapter" until I had finished the whole book! I also admire that these four amazing authors wrote a cohesive and compelling story!

I was impressed that with such a large cast of characters, each person had a depth to them that made me interested in every single one of them. The story was so well-paced and had plenty of action. The descriptions of Falcon Point made me want to book a flight to Austria immediately. I would love to stay in a place like Falcon Point!

Thank you to Covenant Communications, NetGalley, and the authors for a chance to read this book in exchange for my honest opinions. I will definitely recommend this book to friends!

Reminiscent of the Sound of Music the story starts in 1940 and Germany has taken over Austria. Leopold Lang chooses to try and escape with his children instead of lending his coding talents to the military. Karl, Ingrid and Anna end up fleeing without their father and get separated heading to different countries. The story jumps to present day and four descendants of the original Langs realize someone wants them dead. Each has talents of their own and pieces of the family puzzle that lead them back to their ancestral home of Falcon Point. And the clues together could lead to the family treasure.

This is a page-turning, satisfying mystery thriller. (Although we know who the villain is early in the story.) Four of Covenant Communications authors combine their talents to create this fun adventure. It gives credit at the beginning of the novel for which characters each of the authors is writing but this is not an anthology where authors take different sections. The story blends well and the characters interact with each other so I'm not sure how the writing is divided. I was actually disappointed with the leap to present day because I wanted to continue on longer with the original family. But I was quickly engaged with the new characters and their relationships.

This is for anyone who enjoys a clean (for language and intimacy), action packed novel. There is some violence but nothing graphic. Abramson is one of my favorite authors and while I've not read the others I was happy to see how seamlessly their writing blends together into an exciting narrative. Thank you to NetGalley and Covenant Communications for an ARC ebook in exchange for an honest review.

I really loved this book! From the first page, I was in love with the characters, the writinf, and the gorgeous setting. My favorite part was the beginning, since I love historical fiction, but I was surprised at how hooked I was on the contemporary story as well. My emotions were definitely involved from chapter one. I love the message of the book and how well all the parts work together to create an amazing story. I would highly recommend this book to lovers of historical and contemporary fiction!

I was provided with an eARC by the publisher through Netgalley. This is my honest review.

The first chapter of this book was like being sucker punched in the gut. If you've read the blurb, you know what's coming. But it still hits you right in the feels. After that you're compelled to keep reading to find out what's next.

Although each author brought their own writing style to this novel, it was woven together so well that the transitions were subtle and at times difficult to spot.
My main issue with this book is that it was so compelling that I finished it too quickly, and then it was over.

I would love to the authors to write Karl, Anna, and Tess's stories after their separation. I'd love to understand more fully why they were never reunited, and how they each dealt with that.

This is a great book! I did not want to put it down! When I would stop, I would dream about what might happen next! It pulled me in and didn't let me leave! The intrigue, the story line, the characters and their stories were so intriguing. I will now start looking for two of these authors that I had not read before! This group needs to do this again! I can't wait for the audiobook to have on a road trip!

This story was absolutely amazing. I couldn't put it down. The romance portions were well written and the suspense was tangible. It is amazing that four authors came together to write one truly masterful story.

Captivating from page one! It was hard to put this book down. I was fascinated with the story of the Lang children and how they ran from their home, Falcon Point, escaping the clutches of a killer only to be separated and never reunite because of the war. I wanted to know more, to continue their story! Fast forward to modern day, the descendants of the Lang family start to make connections. Falcon Point is in the hands of the the great great grandson of the man who forced them out and he is desperate to keep it. Their lives are in danger but they come together to take back what is rightfully theirs. This is a fast paced, exciting, edge of your seat story written by four fantastic authors, who weaved a brilliant tale.

I recieved a complementary copy through Netgalley and all views are my own.
