Morgan is a widow after her husband who died when he tried to save the group he went on an adventure with. She is not looking for a future husband or even a boyfriend, she just wants to give her son a beautiful Christmas, full of love and happiness in Pine Hill. She meets Andrew at her son's school, when he and some of his classmates come to "help Santa".
As soon as Andrew lays eyes on her, he feels an attraction and becomes super fast friends with Morgan's son. Although until the moment of the meeting with Morgan he strongly declares that he does not go out on dates with single mothers, now this is happening. He is very sweet to her and the little boy, and when he finds out about Morgan's fears he distances himself so as not to break their hearts.
Unfortunately this happens, but before Andrew leaves, Morgan overcomes her fear and accepts the more dangerous side of Andrew's job.
It is a very emotional book and although it has long chapters it is worth reading.
"Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope" by Janice Lynn is a heartwarming holiday read that will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. The story follows the lives of single mother, Morgan, and firefighter, Andrew, as they come together in the small town of Pine Hill, Kentucky to make quilts for veterans at a local quilt shop. The novel expertly weaves themes of love, family, and the importance of following your dreams into a touching, page-turning romance.
Morgan's late husband was a daredevil and she's now a widowed single mom looking to start a stable life for her and her son. Meanwhile, Andrew is a firefighter who's torn between his love for his hometown and his ambition to become a smokejumper and fight wildfires across the country. As they work together, Andrew and Morgan can't help but be drawn to each other, and the book does an excellent job of building the tension between the two.
In addition to its charming romance, "Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope" is also a celebration of the holiday season and all that comes with it. It's a story that will warm your heart and leave you feeling grateful for all the good things in life. Whether you're a fan of holiday romance novels or just in the mood for a feel-good read, this book is sure to be a treat!
You can't go wrong with a Hallmark romance weather it's a book format or movie format.
A sweet, light romance that will have you rooting for its characters. I recommend this book.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book.
All opinions expressed are my own.
I donβt think that you can ever go wrong with a Hallmark book! Morgan and Andrew were so sweet together and I was rooting for them the whole time! If you are looking for a lighthearted, sweet romance than this is definitely for you!
Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope, by Janice Lynn, is a sweet, feel-good, Hallmark-worthy Christmas romance. This small Kentucky town romance is between Andrew, a local firefighter whoβs goal is to remain single so he can pursue the high risk job of smoke jumper in California, and Morgan, a single mother to an irresistible, little boy. Having lost her husband tragically, Morgan is resistant to a new relationship, especially one with another daredevil.
Morgan and Andrew definitely make every effort to resist love, despite a budding friendship and ever-increasing attraction. Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope encourages the idea that life can go on after tragedy, hope is always warranted, and with people to support you, anything can be overcome. This is the third story in the Wrapped Up in Christmas series, but can easily be read as a standalone. Itβs a charming holiday story and one you wonβt want to miss!
The book is well written and reminds me of all the beautiful movies that Hallmark gives us every year around Christmas time and love it so much. Always been a hudge fan of those and I love books that give the same feeling.
This was a sweet Christmas read. If you enjoy Christmas movies and small town romance, then this is right up your alley. It's the third book in a series and I haven't read the previous books but I enjoyed the characters, especially the busy and fun old ladies and the young boy Greyson.
Thank you Netgalley and Hallmark Publishing for the free holiday read.
Wrapped Up In Christmas Hope is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit nearly this year! When widowed single mom Morgan meets Andrew, a firefighter who thrives on helping to save others, they find themselves more and more attracted to each other as they volunteer to make quilts for veterans. But, when all Morgan wants is a stable life for herself & her son, will she allow herself to feel something for Andrew? Filled with lovable characters, Christmas & a small town Iβd love to live in, I truly enjoyed this read! This was my first book by Janice Lynn but wonβt be my last! Thank you NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for sending this book for review consideration, but all opinions are my own.
Loved this story about christmas and loved the fireman, I read in one day, as it was hard to put down. will look for more books by this author.
Extremely sweet romance, and youve gotta love the firefighters!
I recieved an ARC copy from Net Galley and it has in no way affected my review.
The story focus on Morgan who moved back to Pine Hill together with her son Greyson when she loss her husband to restart their life again. She prefers to stay safe given the reason she lost her husband but fate shoved her to the direction that she never want to be. Greyson idolised a firefighter Andrew who has a dream of becoming a smoke jumper
From the start I love the vibrant characters and the heartwarming story about fears and anxieties and overcoming them. Love the way Andrew treated Greyson and the patience for him is truly amazing. Morgan given the circumstance, was someone who is indecisive, make the story more draggy.
I laughed. I cried. I enjoyed the wackiest wedding ever. Great characters of all ages. There is a darling young boy, several grandmothers, young couples, and a dog. I don't celebrate Christmas but that did not keep me from enjoying the romantic story. Thanks to Hallmark for providing a copy via NetGalley.
A cute story of a single mom recently relocating to start over with her young son..
Morgan wants to make Christmas the best for her young son, Greyson. Greyson's kindergarten class has the local fireman and Santa come to visit. When he grows up, he wants to be a firefighter. The young boy automatically starts to hero worship local firefighter, Andrew. Morgan, Greyson and Andrew begin to forge a friendship which could ultimately lead to heartbreak.
Andrew, who has a dream of becoming a smokejumper starts to fall for Morgan and her son, but Morgan is hesitant. Fighting their attraction to each other becomes tough!! I loved the relationship between Andrew and 5 year old Greyson, was absolutely adorable. Such a cute story .
Welcome back to Pine Hill, Kentucky! This is a sweet Christmas novel and it is everything you would expect in a Hallmark book.
Morgan is a widowed single mom. She moves back to Pine Hill to give her son a better life. She didnβt plan on falling for local firefighter Andrew. While Andrew and her son bond, she starts to fall for him too. But Andrew wants to become a smokejumper and move away. Can love last?
This is the third book in the series. You can read it as a stand alone novel, but I prefer reading the series in order. I want to thank the author, Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
The story line in this highly anticipated book was not what I expected. I believed there would be more about the quilts of valor program and it was only touched on in a minor way. The story was average but will try this author again.
LOVED this book! Janice Lynn has quickly become one of my favorite authors of sweet romance. I love how her stories have all the typical elements of a sweet romance with a dash of patriotism. Another five star book from Lynn!
I absolutely have loved each book in the series and this one was right up there with the rest! The love stories that come out of these books are incredible and you always want to keep reading! These are clean love stories that leave you thinking about them long after you are finished. If you like a Christmas read, this is the one for you! I also highly recommend reading the others in the series!
