While the premise of "Model Spy" is incredibly fun and compelling, unfortunately this one ultimately fell flat for me. The fact that Kelly is not only a literal genius, but is klutzy and awkward, but is also beautiful she's often thought to be a Victoria's Secret model was a little too much of everything – if it had been downplayed a bit, perhaps it would have worked better, but it was played in a way that come across to me as a bit too over-the-top, and made me less interested in her story.
Additionally, the plot didn't hold quite enough obstacles – everything was easy or convenient for Kelly. And though she *is* supposed to be everything, I still wanted to see her challenged rather than breezing through every single scenario.
I'm sorry I was not able to read and review this book before it was archived due to serious health issues.
The Goods:
Meeting the Team after Kelly gets her first mission. Hilarious.
The action once they leave the compound.
I love the idea of each one being brilliant in their own way.
The Bads:
How cliche is it to have a blonde barbie model girl actually being a computer coding nerd?
Kelly kind of annoys me. She's just not very likable.
Predictable. If I tell you the premise, you can probably tell me the entire story.
The Consensus:
A fun read, and I hope I can track down the rest of the series somewhere!
The Recommendation:
Check it out from the library when you need a fast, light read.

I read this book when I downloaded, but unfortunately forgot to leave a review at that time and no longer remember enough details to give a proper review.
Couldn't download this so I can't really review it. Seems really interesting though, sounds like something I would check out.
I did not finish this book, and will not be officially reviewing it here or on my blog. Thanks so much to the publisher for the opportunity.
I received this novel from NetGalley.
From the very first page, I was captivated by this novel and was unable to put it down. It is Ana amazingly unique take to the world of spies. I especially love the idea of using incredibly smart kids who are in trouble with the law as the agents. Brilliant!
The characters are multi dimensional and interact with such flair that you feel as though you are part of the team.
I am thrilled that there will be more in the series, Greenland is an outstanding author and everyone should read this novel!!
