My sons enjoy the Captain Underpants series and this one is more of the same. Pilkey knows how to do his thing. Nothing here is particularly great literature, but the books are good to get kids reading.

This is a great addition to a great series of books. If your kid isn't reading this series they should be. Loads of fun.

There's absolutely no doubt that Dav Pilkey knows how to write a graphic novel that engages young readers. He allows the reader a chance to read, even when reading may be a struggle. The use of phonetic spelling has allowed a select few of my Kindergarten readers to enjoy his work. Definitely worth a purchase!
