This is a mystery that will attract non-reading kids. It's fast paced, Whereas, the first book in the series, CAPTURE THE FLAG, was from a female point, of view, this one takes Jose's point of view. There's a lot of issues dealt with in the book, but yet it doesn't sound preachy. I liked the book because its also a very appropriate book for younger readers who read above their reading level.
