This is a wonderful beginning reader mystery to introduce the genre in Early chapter books. Will be purchasing for my collection

This novel is about a bunch of friends who are aspiring spies. They are "trained" by a society of lady spies. When a fancy dress goes missing, the Petite Private Eyes take the case. They put together clues and even go under cover to solve the case.

The novel is mixed together with colors and illustrated pages.

What I liked: the twists and clues as they solve the mystery. The girls are dedicated to learning the craft of spying. It's a simple and predictable fast-paced mystery.

Recommended for: Maybe like 4th grade to 6th grade readers who like a fun mystery/spy novel.
