Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and the author, for an ARC of this book, in exchange for an honest review.
I thought "Couples Wanted" by Briana Cole had an interesting synopsis so I requested a copy to read.
This line is what made me interested in reading this book:
Be careful what you switch for!
This book was a different genre to what I usually read & I thought some parts were actually very good.
This book was a different genre to what I usually read, but it wasn’t too bad.Bridget is married to Roman and they find themselves drawn to Corrine and her husband Patrick who they meet in a restaurant but the meeting was engineered by Patrick unbeknown to them. They become firm friends even ending up at the local swinging club where they swap partners for the night which leads to complications for all of them and their marriages, with plenty of twists in the plot it was a decent thriller with a good ending and it was a well written storyline.I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys this genre and it is a good 4 star read.
This book was different than most psychological thrillers which kept it interesting and suspenseful.
Thank you Netgalley, Dafina Books, and Author Briana Cole for this ARC.
Hmmm . . . Did I get a different book than everyone else? I struggled to get into this story and never fully did. The writing style was off, confusing. The characters felt scattered as did the plot. In its defense the idea behind it was original and refreshing in the world of psychological thrillers. It's what caught my attention and had me wanting to read it.
This was a fun and refreshing story with really likeable and relatable characters. Very well written and I thoroughly enjoyed the storyxx
Thankyou Netgalley for the advanced copy of Couples wanted by Briana Cole.
I loved this book so much! There’s so much anticipation from the beginning, I devoured this book in two days.
First of all, thank you Netgalley for this ARC. This book is so messy, and I love it. The novel is very easy to get into, the pacing is also well done. And I love how diverse the characters are👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
The issues were handled and highlighted without feeling too agenda-ry and I really appreciated that.
