Stephanie is back at it again. This time, she is after Oswald Wednesday. Oswald is a hacker that has skipped his court appearance. Diesel is also after him and is more than willing to help Stephanie look for him. Along for the ride are all of the characters that we have come to know and love.
Opinion
This latest book in the Plum series is like an old coat. It is warm and comfortable and something you will cherish. Whether you have kept up with all of the books in the series or have taken a break and are jumping back in, this book will let you pick up where you left off. As per usual, Janet Evanovich will leave you laughing until you cry at the crazy antics of Stephanie and the gang. This one offers some old antics (is it really a Plum book if a car isn't destroyed) and some new. Like a roller coaster, you know how it will end but you will enjoy the ride along the way.
Many thanks to Net Galley, Janet Evanovich and Atria Books for providing me with an ARC of this book.

Goodreads:
What can you say? Another Stephanie Plum caper. Diesel makes an appearance, we haven't seen him for a while.

While I love Stephanie, Lula, Ranger and Morelli…I believe it’s time to end their saga. Each book seems to contain more of the same, and Stephanie spending all sorts of time with men she’s attracted to and wanting to be physically involved with, yet conflicted due to her status with Morelli has gotten old.

Stephanie Plum on another adventure to try and catch a cyber crime criminal that has come to Trenton. One of the most interesting part of the book was when Stephanie is asked what are her hobby? The fact that she took stock of her life and tried to answer show how much her character has grown.

I have been a Stephanie Plum fan since One For the Money. It was a pleasure to get a chance to read this newest adventure. I loved the turn around with Lulu being the object of incident instead of Stephanie. I’m glad Diesel is back and how can you not love the magic of Wolf. Here is a great evil supreme hacker who is holding not only Trenton but the world captive. I could not stop until the end. Neither will
You. Happy reading

Stephanie Plum is a tonic in a world that needs all the help it can get. On the trail of a mad computer hacker, the story is less about technology and much more about family and friends. This time Stephanie comes to the rescue of best friend Lula as well as several computer geeks. As usual her efforts at tracking down “ failure to appear”cases are somewhat inept, but entertaining. Add to that her lovable eccentric family and the three hot men in her life, and you have a book that will take you away from reality for a couple of days. My only complaint — and it is ongoing and unlikely to change — is Stephanie’s dependence on those three men to come to her rescue. Where most people would be stopped in their tracks if their car exploded, for Stephanie a single phone call is all it takes to get her mobile. But that is a mere quibble. I prefer, like Stephanie, to hop on and enjoy the ride.and I’ll bet you will too.

Yayyy im officially all caught up on the Stephanie Plum series, even the in between books!
This is the first book in the series i've felt such a limited presence of Ranger, but Diesel totally made up for it. Im not sure why, but I love Diesel Diesel (not a typo :) more in the Stephanie Plum series way more than the Wicked Series. He just comes off more charismatic. Karl the monkey however was sorely missed.
Oswald Wednesday was one of the most brutal villains the series has seen in a while. I actually don't remember someone as mean as him since book #1. The baked potatoes were totally lovable (what was left of them anyway) and poor Lula really took a beating this book, but she was a good sport about it.
Book #27 left me feeling like some changes were coming for Stephanie. She got new hair, everyone knows new hair for women means major life changes. She was also questioning her life choices and was really introspective for a while. If i'm honest, I think I liked 27 just a little more than 28 it had a different vibe. I was expecting more of that as the series moved on but it felt the same with the exception of the Diesel/Ranger presence. I still really liked the book though. It's hard to read without smiling and this series has been my happy place since I was a teenager.
PS- I was hoping "the thing" Stephanie's mom was making would come up again later in the book, like used to thwart an Oswald attack lol
PPS- Can we just take a moment to appreciate that Stephanie has the longest living hamster in history

As usual with Stephanie Plum there are cars blowing up, Lula shooting at people and Stephanie hot over more than one guy.
For me Game on was only 3 stars because it didn’t really grab my attention like the previous book. It seems after the 16th book every other book isn’t as good as the one before.
I guess we will see what’s next for Ms Plum.

It’s no secret that the Stephanie Plum series holds a special place in my heart. I can pick up any of the books and feel instantly happy. Game on was no exception. I loved this book. Diesel is in town and after the same man Stephanie is. They team up together to catch him. We haven’t seen Diesel in awhile so it was a lot of fun having him back. This book has all the same shenanigans you can expect from a Plum book; car explosions, bad guys, Lulu, and romantic tension!
The only negative thing I can say about this book is that there wasn’t enough Ranger 😂
If you love this series then you’ll love this latest installment. If you haven’t started this series, DO IT!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The cast of characters are all back with a special appearance by Diesel and it was good to visit Trenton but...... At this point in the series we as the readers simple deserve more!! How many times can Stephanie get a car destroyed and how many times can Lula miss shooting someone (by alot)? I understand that somtimes we all want to read what is famialiar but the series has been going so long some of us readers have gone on to get married and have kids and Stephanie is still in the same place!!! In series I think maybe a couple of years have gone by since she started as a bounty hunter but can we at least have her skills with a simple capture get better. I am holding out hope that the next one will really show some character growth.
Thank you Netgalley and publisher for the opportunity to read and review this title.

Once again Stephanie Plum finds herself embroiled in a case that goes beyond apprehending a failed to appear fugitive. Add in Lula, Diesel, Grandma Mazur, Joe, and a little bit of Ranger and you are ready for a wild and crazy ride. There are the typical humorous/silly moments, the explosions, the near death experiences, and sexual tension. But the formula made for an entertaining read. I had begun to be disappointed in this series, but this book was a trip back to what I enjoyed most with the earlier books.
Thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Wow, another great read from Janet Evanovich. Diesel, Ranger, Morelli, Lula, Grandma. Everyone is back, another great adventure, with comedy and action. Can't wait for the next one.

Another fun adventure for Stephanie Plum. A friend from the past comes back to help her hunt down a crazy maniac. As usual, all sorts of fun, ridiculous hijinks ensue. Grandma Mazur is still around to put her two cents in, and her mom as taken up knitting to get through the day.
I always like Janet Evanovich's novels as a nice, relaxing stress relief, and this was no exception. Can't wait for the next book to come out!
Thank you to #NetGalley and the publisher for the complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

In true Stephanie Plum fashion, the book was funny, a quick read with parts that made you laugh out loud. Lula is a gem and deserves her own spin off.

Even 28 books deep into the series, it seems I’ll never get tired of the antics and exploits of Stephanie Plum and company.
All the usual suspects are present, as well as a few new characters who I hope we’ll see again in future installments. Series devotees will also be happy to see the return of the mysterious and intriguing Diesel.
Otherwise, it’s business as usual for Stephanie and the gang, though their business is, as always, hilariously far from usual. Grandma Mazur is her delightfully entertaining self, and Lula has a hilarious animal-related incident almost right out of the gate.
Nothing much has changed in Stephanie’s Trenton, but unlike with most series that don’t evolve, that’s a very good thing.
The audiobooks for these are a good option if you want a light listen, and though I’m still no thrilled with how the narrator handles a few of the characters, for the most part the book is just as enjoyable of a listen as it is a read on paper.

I love everything and anything by Janet Evanovich so I was thrilled to read this book. It's a page-turning thriller that keeps you on your toes.

Game On is book 2 million in the Stephanie Plum series (ok, not 2 million, but we are in the 20's). Stephanie and Lulu are up to their usual shenanigans, except their roles are a bit flipped. It's Lulu who has the bad luck in this book. Not that bad things don't happen to Stephanie too, but Lulu is quite unlucky in this one!
Game on brings the return of Diesel as well! Diesel and his "unique" family are interesting and I always thought of Diesel as the surfer boy version of Ranger, which is fun.
Honestly, these books have become formulaic, but I enjoy the formula. Stephanie destroys a car, gets hit on by other men, and exasperates her currently on again boyfriend. Plus, they meet some unique people (in Game On, its a hacker group called the Baked Potatoes)! The romance reader in me is still frustrated that after 2 million books, the romance has progressed 0 steps. But, I can put that aside and appreciate that I am not reading romance with this series.

This is a great addition to the Stephanie Plum series. All of the good stuff is here. You get great characters, a great plot, great villain and some laughs. The chase O.W. leads them on throughout the book is wonderful. You never know what is going to happen which makes reading this book even better! I cannot wait for the next one.

Stephanie Plum has not seen Diesel for more than two years when he shows up in her apartment in the middle of the night. It turns out they are both on the trail of the same fugitive: nut job Oswald Wednesday, an international computer hacker.
Trying to apprehend him will lead to an exploding motor home, exploding cars, missing tongues and gun shots. Protecting two computer hackers from Oswald will lead to putting them in protecting custody at Rangeman headquarters.
This is a typical Stephanie Plum novel that will have her surrounded by three gorgeous men: Morelli, Diesel and Ranger.

Stephanie Plum never disappoints, not even in the 28th book in the series. She trying to take the mastermind of a devious hacking scheme into custody. Lots of humor, lots of good looking men, an crazy grandma, a mother who has taken up knitting to relieve stress, and cars being blown up, Yes, ma’am, if you like Stephanie Plum, you’ll like this book.
