What a beautiful tale about the magic of Christmas. I wanted to visit North Pole Forest and meet Santa, Tav, Sash and the reindeers. I could picture the cabins and igloos, Santas workshop and the post office.. The letters written by children made you stop and think, some people have nothing in life and some have such kind hearts where they want to help people, rather than receive a gift themselves.
This book truly captured the magic and excitement of Christmas and for me it was like a warming cup of hot chocolate, making me feel warm inside and happy!

This book has to be read on the lead up to Christmas - it’s perfect for the cold days, snuggled up inside with a hot drink and a mince pie.

Loved this Christmas Book!

A huge thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read it early!

I always have loved Christmas, but this book brought all the feels and sparked that Christmas joy even earlier this year!

This is the perfect book for those who need a little extra Christmas cheer this year wrapped with a good romance. You won’t be disappointed with this book. I can’t wait to read more book by Jaimie Admans.

My favorite quote from the book:

“He exists in the hearts of everyone who keeps the spirit of Christmas alive, and that is true Christmas magic. Add that the spirit of Christmas is never lost for good and you hope he rediscovers it when he most needs it, and gets to share it with his own children one day”.

This book had all the good things: Christmas, big handsome man, compelling story, and even reindeer. It read like a hallmark movie. Cute and fun. My only complaints are that it was predictable and SOOO descriptive. There was a whole paragraph about putting on shoes. I’m a fan of books that give me just enough detail that I can imagine the rest. Reading so much description is a bit cumbersome for me. Otherwise, this was a great, heartwarming story.

I have posted my review on Instagram with the handle @Mz.Cookz.Bookz. I also posted to Amazon.

Heartwarming and funny, gorgeous Christmassy rom-com.

Having loved The Wishing Tree Beside The Shore I couldn't wait to read The Post Box at the North Pole, and it was so gorgeous, heartwarming and funny that I couldn't put it down.

Sasha used to love Christmas as a child, but that abruptly came to an end when her mother died and she was left in the care of her stoic and stiff-upper-lipped grandma. Her dad always seems to be travelling so she's grown used to spending Christmas alone.

But this year seems to be going from bad to worse, as first she loses her job, and then she finally hears from her father only to learn that he's had a heart attack. Sasha finds herself flying in a plane for the first time as she rushes to help her dad who it turns out is in Norway working at a reindeer sanctuary.

A heartwarming read about taking chances, stepping outside your comfort zone and the magic of Christmas.

Even though I don't celebrate Christmas, reading Christmas-themed novels have always bought me joy. :') The Post Box at the North Pole is now on the shelf of my favourite Christmas books. ❤️ I have been following Marie, Jaimie Admans' best friend for a long time now ~ she fangirls about Jaimie's books all the time (as she should) I am so happy that I finally picked one of her books up!

Is anyone else obsessed with letters in books? I am. Add letters from children to Santa to the mix, and you have the perfect recipe to make me happy 😭 TPBATNP begins when our main character, Sasha gets a phone call from her father inviting her to Norway to help him run a reindeer sanctuary. She finds out that her father is actually managing a Christmas-themed attraction: The North Pole Forest. The business is in a poor state though, which is exactly why her father needed her help. Sasha discovers The North Pole Post office,  and we get to see her fall in love with Christmas by answering children's letter to Santa. She also finds the love of her life along the way. 🥰

This book had such an enchanting setting, with an engaging plot playing throughout the story. It took me a while to warm up to Sasha, but after a few chapters, I loved reading about her with all my heart. Sasha and Tav's romance is the main highlight of the story, and oh, what a beautiful love story it was! 💗 Seeing two people with troubled pasts connect by sharing their struggles is like music to my soul. I felt exactly the same way about Sasha and Tav. Their chemistry was undeniable from the very beginning of the story. I swooned and swooned.

What made the story more beautiful for me was how the author included sad moments in the book along with happy ones. There were letters which brought tears to my eyes, some even made me laugh out loud. The book made made me see the world through the unfiltered thoughts of little kids, and I am so grateful for that.

I finished this book a few days ago, but I can't stop thinking about the characters ar all! I think I'll keep re-reading TPBATNP for many years in the future, because the book made me feel all sorts of feelings 🧡

What a fantastic festive fairy-tale. An absolutely beautifully written story about stepping outside your comfort zone. Maybe taking a risk now and again will pay off as the boring everyday becomes an adventure by trying something new. The story made me want to hop on the next plane to North Pole Forest so that I can enjoy all that it has to offer - I need to sleep in the Igloos, I want to chose my own themed cottage (probably the Nutcracker), I want to see the northern lights, I would love to be pulled in a sled by Huskies, I need to meet Santa and have an iced cookie and a hot chocolate with him, but most of all I want to feed the reindeer lichen and stroke there thick fur. The way the story is written I could imagine doing all of these things and it just sounds amazing.

Can I give 10 stars? As it's Christmas why not and this one deserves each and every star i can give.

I'm booking my place at this picture perfect winter wonderland. As you turn the pages you can't help but believe in Christmas magic. This is definetly going to be added to the traditional festive to read pile. Now could someone please make my Christmas wishes come true and make this into a film.

Who still looks up at the skies at night on Christmas Eve? Writes letters to Santa? It's not just about the childlike wonder of Christmas but the hope that anything can happen. Filled my heart with a warm glow.

A heartwarming read filled with the magical northern lights, reindeer sleigh rides, twinkling lights, Santa's village and a very special post box. The wonder of Christmas is on every page. I could taste the peppermint hot chocolate, and those gingerbread waffles sounded divine.

Taavi, I just fell in love with. So much chemistry between Sasha and Tav as they try to turn around the fortunes of the Christmas village. Replying to the letters was just so heartwarming showing what Christmas is about. There's good in the world. That there's always hope. I was smiling and laughing throughout.

Will you believe in the magic of Christmas? A magical, festive delight. Couldn't help but put the Christmas music on, cosy up with a hot chocolate and now may need to replace the Christmas treats.

What a truly amazing book by Jaimie. Full of warmth and festive spirit with all the usual Christmas magic. This is the best Christmas book I have read so far this year.

A tear-jerker read full of unexpected romance and soul searching as two socially isolated people meet

in the Arctic Circle. Unemployed Sasha flies out to Norway to help her almost estranged father after he has a

heart attack shortly before Christmas. She meets Tav, who runs a reindeer sanctuary, Sasha starts work at the

post office sending care packages to children who have suffered hardships in life. Together they learn to

love and trust again within the spirit of Christmas cheer and sparkle.

A lovely story, motivational and full of magic, glitter, and hope.

Sasha has lost her love of Christmas following the death of her mother. When a chance arises to connect with her estranged father she seizes the opportunity. Can her Christmas spirit be rekindled in Norway. A thouroughly enjoyable book.

A beautifully written, feel good novel. At first I thought it was going to be really twee- nothing but sugary descriptions, but I soon began to thoroughly enjoy it, leaving me feeling full of Christmas spirit.
Christmas is a lovely time of year, although some find it very lonely missing family and loved ones. Sasha travels to The North Pole where she rediscovers her love of all Christmas festivities, soon becoming involved in them. Prior to this her father was never around at this time and after her mother died she lived with relatives who did not believe nor celebrate Christmas resulting in Sasha feeling the same. Romance, family and the importance of community abound.

Oh, Holy Night WHAT A BOOK! This is the first book I have read by Jaime but it most definitely will not be the last!

Sasha has had some real rough Christmas' since her mum passed and for her, it's lost its magic. Sasha doesn't feel like she is a priority to anyone. From the moment we met Sasha I wanted her to feel special. It's clear underneath that she is someone so unique but life has gotten in the way.

Taavi is something quite different. He is a real hunk of a man. At 6ft 8 with a wall of solid muscle he quickly swept Sasha off her feet. Taavi has been really hurt in the past. Not just physically but also mentally. He's given up on good people and just expects everyone will let him down. This is so sad and I was very happy to see him bring down his walls as the story progressed.

I almost forgot to add I LOVED the way each chapter began with a letter from a child! It was very interesting to see what they asked.

This book has everything you need for a Christmas romance but it is so much more than that. This book is what Christmas is all about. It will make you believe in the magic of Christmas and leave you feeling all the emotions. If you read one Christmas book this year make it this one!

If you are looking for a book to give you that Chrismassy feeling, then this is it in my opinion. Sasha received a call from her ageing father who has spent years traveling, so the pair hardly have contact. He needs her help with running his latest project, a Lapland style resort! Sasha is a complete home bird and never left the country, but with her dad's age, ailing health & the fact she has no job, all lead to her going to Norway to help her father. Met at the airport, in style by Tav, her dad's co worker, the story really starts to begin. Snow, hot chocolate, reindeers, the northern lights all help this book to be a magical feel good festive story. An absolute must read.

Another story from my Christmas Book List. This one highlighted the magic of Christmas. i felt like child again, all immersed in the traditions that make Christmas such a lovely day in the year, for a majority of people. A very emotional read.

Sasha is not a Christmas fan, not ideal for a Christmas book you might think but after getting a phone call from her ailing, estranged father she packs up and goes to his aid, in his Christmas village in Norway. Sasha soon finds herself caught up in Christmas and the village begins to work a bit of magic on her!
Again Jaimie Admans creates the most fantastic, warming, winter wonderland on the pages. Leaving you well and truly in the festive spirit.
The relationship between Sasha and Tav really makes the book! It is both realistic and beautiful, and had me turning pages to watch it blossom.
The setting is just picture perfect, I could see the Christmas Village come alive and work it way into Sasha’s heart.
I particularly loved the letters to Santa and what they meant to each individual. It’s this kind of book that really makes Christmas come alive and show grown-ups that magic does exist!
It’s a real warm and fuzzy page-turner! An excellent Christmas story to really make you feel all the magical Christmas feels!
Thank you to Jaimie Admans, Netgalley and HQ for the copy!

I loved this Christmas romance, which is so magical and amazing. The book has a really lovely setting, which is at the North Pole at a reindeer sanctuary, where the northern lights are visible. The characters are just lovely and I grew to really like them as the story went on. Sasha has had a hard childhood and has never liked Christmas, but when she arrives in Norway and meets Taavi, her life changes for the better and they both have some fun together, but will they stay together? Sasha learns to enjoy Christmas, which is nice. I loved the letters to Santa and the whole thrill of the Christmas season. I think this book would be great as a movie, as it is just so full of fun, excitement, magic and joy, which warms the heart and uplifts the mind. I highly recommend this wonderful book!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Oh my goodness! I don’t even know how to begin writing this review!

I knew from the minute I read the dedication that this book was for me… it is magical and EXACTLY what a Christmas book should be.

I have had to stay awake well into the early hours of the morning to finish this wonderfully charming tale. I’m going to be one tired girl in the morning, but I don’t care. This book has brought me so much joy.

Christmas has always been my favourite time of year - I embrace it with the same vigour as Buddy the elf, and this book has just re-enforced that feeling and reminded me to always keep believing - not just in Santa, but in the magic of Christmas.

What an incredibly magical Christmas story! This adventure is what the spirit of Christmas is all about and it gave me allllll the feels!!!!! The setting is obviously perfection as I LOVE Norway so much. Reindeer, a happy Santa-playing senior, Christmas themed cottages, letters to Santa. All of Christmas is present in this story!

Sasha is perfect as the lead female. She is a down on her luck character who has not had an easy life. She lacks the adventure bug that her dad has, and she has a heart of gold meant to help others. Sasha’s story shows that you just don’t know where your life will take you and trying new things just may change your direction! I love Tav. He is the quiet, mysterious, and handsome male lead and he is such an appealing character. He is very sweet and kind, but has trust issues and has built a wall against letting people in. Sasha’s dad made me laugh so many times. The Santa playing senior is funny and way more o servant than he is given credit for.

This book will make you laugh, it will make you swoon, and you will get to experience the slowest and sweetest love story. And this isn’t just about love between two people, but finding the love and magic in Christmas that we all had as children. A must read for this in need of some Christmas magic and one I will revisit again and again!!!!

I absolutely love Jaimie Adman's books, they are always so joyful and magical. What could be more joyful and magical than Christmas at the North Pole? This book is so so fantastic and festive. It is the perfect Christmas book.
This book has it all, it is heartwarming, funny, romantic. I didn't want it to end.
I loved the characters and the setting. I can't say anything negative about this book, it is a lovely feel-good escapism. Perfect for cosing up with on a cold day.

Dear Santa, If my Christmas presents are made by elves in the North Pole, why do they all have 'Made in China' written on them? From Milo

Sasha Hansley finds herself at a loose end after losing her job, so when she gets a call from her dad, who she very rarely sees because he's always off on some adventure, she decides there's nothing to stop her from going to see him. He's just suffered a heart attack and needs her help, eager to see him she agrees to fly to Norway, this is a big thing for Sash, as she's never flown anywhere before. Taavi Salvesen, a hunk of a Norwegian man, meets Sash at the airport and takes her to the North Pole Forest on a husky led sleigh and she's in awe when she sees the spectacular Northern Lights, a phenomenon she's only ever dreamed of. On arrival she's amazed to see her dad has been running a struggling Christmas village, with him playing Santa, and when she uncovers sacks of unopened mail, written by children from all over the world, she decides to start replying to some of them, can she rediscover the magic of Christmas herself whilst sending some of that magic around the world?

The Post Box at the North Pole is everything you'd expect from Christmas; the idyllic forest setting, Santa's grotto, reindeers, elves and so much more, what is there not to love? Even the biggest bah humbug would find their heart melting after reading this. I adored everything about this book, it's such a well crafted story with adorable characters, full of magic and festive joy. I loved how the author started every chapter with a letter to Santa, many of them quite amusing. Her writing is so descriptive, transporting the reader right into the very heart of the story and if you closed your eyes you'd be right there in the North Pole Forest alongside Sash, Tav and Percy, witnessing that magic for yourself. It's a tale of love, hope, trust and belief. This is such an exquisite book and the epitome of a festive read. It's the first I've read by Admans, but it certainly won't be the last!

I'd like to thank HQ and Netgalley for the auto approval, I will post my review on Amazon and Goodreads.
