I have read a lot of Christmas themed books over the years. But this one really blew me away.
I absolutly loved almost every aspect of this book. It feels so realistic but with the right amount of Christmas Magic.

The setting in Norway was just breathtaking and really came alive on the pages.

The only thing it was lacking for me was a little bit of spice. But maybe that's just me.

Sasha used to love Christmas when her Mother was alive, but once she died in a car accident Sasha's life was never the same. Her father was always on some adventure or other around the world, and Sasha was brought up by her man who didn't have much Christmas spirit. Sasha wasn't one for traveling, so didn't join her father anywhere, and drifted from dead end job to dead end boyfriend and missed having family around.

When Sasha's father has a heart attack, and pleads for her to come and help him, she has to break out of her comfort zone and get on a plane, as he is in Norway, far up near the North Pole. She has just lost her job so the timing is perfect. She will go and see her father, get him better, and bring him home to live with her, and hopefully have family Christmasses again.

Sasha was not banking on her father loving his life playing Santa in the North Pole Forest, the gorgeous six foot 7 inch Taavi who helps her father being so intriguing, and the thousands of letters arriving every day to the North Pole Post Office which need answering. Through answering the letters from children all over the world Sasha finally feels she can make a difference, have job satisfaction, and be a part of something truly magical.

I have grown to love Jaimie Admans' books and none more so than this one. A perfect story for this time of the year. It has everything you want in a Christmas story and a heap of magic on top - who wouldn't want to watch the Northern Lights? This would make the most amazing Christmas movie - someone should snap up the rights quickly. Loved it.

I cannot praise this book enough! The perfect read for this Christmas, I just could not put it down! I absolutely adored the plot and Sasha went on such a journey of personal growth it was immersive and brilliant to read. The scenery was described so beautifully I felt like I could envision it all and be there myself!

No matter what setting you’re in while reading this book, you’ll automatically feel like you’re wrapped up in a cozy blanket by the fire with a warm mug of hot chocolate. Admans makes you feel wrapped up in every word. It’s charming, funny, sweet and touching. By the end of the book you’ll be humming ‘Silver Bells’ and hoping for snow on Christmas Day. The Post Box at The North Pole will remind just about anyone of their inner child and the magic of Christmas.

This was my first book by Jaimie Admans but it definitely won’t be my last.
As a child Christmas was Sasha’s favorite time of year. After the death of her mother and her father not being around it no longer holds the same magic.

When Sasha gets an out-of-the-blue phone call from her father that he has had a heart attack, she rushes to Norway and the magical North Pole Forest Christmas Village to convince him to move back home and slow down.

When she experiences the magical northern lights, adorable, themed cottages and sees how happy her father truly is there, can she convince him to come home?

With the handsome and thoughtful Tavvi around to bring about the Christmas magic will she be in for some of her own happy holidays?

This book was an adorable and clean slow-burn romance novel. I really fell in love with all of the characters and the North Pole Forest. I was completely invested in every aspect of this story and didn’t want it to end. I hope to be able to buy a physical copy for my shelves soon. This will be one to re-read every holiday season.

Another astounding Christmas tale from Jaimie.
Who wouldn't want to spend Christmas in a Norwegian forest with Santa, reindeer, the Northern Lights and Tav. Ahhh Tav, step aside former book boyfriends, Tav is the new man about town!
The setting was beautiful, the characters were warm, wonderful and real, even the reindeer made you fall in love with them, especially Rudolph 3/Clive!
This had me in tears multiple times, so many emotional parts to the story but some really heart-warming moments too.
The only thing id have changed would be to have had an update on Osvald and Freya, I'm desperate to know about their date! However maybe we could return to the North Pole Forest next Christmas to see how everyone is getting on! Please?

5 "Northern Lights" sparkling stars for this emotional and utterly captivating Christmas romance. Written entirely from Sasha's viewpoint I initially found myself struggling to connect with her. However, it wasn't long, no more than a chapter or two, until I found myself warming to the character who at first sight had appeared to be a bit of a do-nothing doormat. Once I'd gotten to know her, understand how worthless life had made her feel, she very quickly and easily captured my heart. I may also have shed tears for her - and on more than one occasion.


The Post Box at the North Pole is quite simply perfect, I wouldn't change a single thing. The author created a beautiful and appealing setting, I actually feel quite sad that I can't journey to Norway to stay in one of the themed cabins, watch the Northern Lights from a glass igloo, send a postcard with a North Pole stamp, see Santa's home or take a reindeer-powered sleigh ride through the North Pole Forest. Even if something similar does exist it won't have Tav, Sasha, Perce and Rudolph-slash-Clive, and they were what made this such a good book.


Tav and Sasha were eminently likeable characters, flawed, damaged by life, and a little worn around the edges. Wholly perfect for one another, I found myself delighting in every scene they shared, melting at Tav's sweet, thoughtful gestures, and hoping beyond hope for Sasha's dreams to come true. With themes of forgiveness, family and learning to trust, TPBatNP is a truly wonderful story. Even though I guessed the original owner of the North Pole Forest almost immediately I still adored watching how that aspect of the plot played out. The new owner twist took me by surprise though, as did the lists Sasha discovered, despite the generous amount of foreshadowing.


This was a book that I put down only begrudgingly, and that I couldn't wait to get back to. If you are looking for a heart-warming Christmas romance then this is one I am happy to recommend

This was my first Christmas book of the year and it did not disappoint. It was a truly wonderful Christmassy story packed full of family and love.

It was rich if descriptions and enough side story to really keep you hooked. Thoroughly enjoyed.

A year or two ago I read my first Jaimie Admans’ novel and I adored it so I’ve been eagerly anticipating this new Christmas novel by her and I’m so happy to say that I completely and utterly adored it! This book follows Sasha who has flown to help out her dad at a Lapland resort that is not doing so well. When she gets there she meets Taavi and some reindeers called Rudolph. Sasha wants to help her dad and so when she finds a sack of letters to Santa she decides to reply and spread some festive cheer (and maybe some magic!). I loved this book so much – it’s full of all things heartwarmingly festive from start to finish, which is exactly what I’ve been looking for in my Christmas reads this year. I highly recommend this one, it’s a perfect Christmas read!

This is the perfect time of year to read a yet another Christmas book and I am obsessed with Christmas.

Sasha the main character hates Christmas but when her estranged father calls she wings her way to Norway only to uncover a sack full of letters to Santa. And so the Christmas lights will shine for her again as she brings joy to others with the help of Taavi. Is this leading to a bit of a love story?

This is such an easy read, it brings a bit of Christmas magic through the pages and into your home. It is fun, it is cute, it is festive. It is for anyone looking for some Christmas cheer!

I love Jaimie Admans books. I'm not usually a great fan of Christmas to be honest, it's normally just a stressful time of year, her festive offerings always give me that pick me up I need.
I absolutely devoured this book, I read it in one sitting, I didn't want to put it down once I'd started it. This definitely has a heartwarming and feel good quality that made me want to make an effort for Christmas this year.
The characters are engaging and relatable, there's a good blend of romance, humour and family drama . The location couldn't be more scenic and the descriptive writing leaves you feeling like you are part of the surroundings coming to life on the page.
Thoroughly recommended if you need a pick me up .

OK I will have to admit that this book is actually my favourite Christmas book of this year.

It is such a fantastic story that I just didn't want to put down.

When Sasha gets a call from her father and he tells her he is recovering from a heart attack, he convinces her to come to the far north in Norway to help him at his reindeer sanctuary. When she gets off of the plane, she is met by Taavi, she finds out she will be traveling by dog sled, and ends up at North Pole Forest, a ‘sort of’ Christmas village, where her dad is dressed like, and looks like Santa. This is where Sasha’s adventure begins; finding love, a renewed spirit of Christmas, a new connection with her father, and a new purpose for her life.

This was a very enjoyable story, featuring the beauty of Norway and using the northern lights, reindeer, and letters to Santa to refresh my Christmas spirit. It would also make a great Hallmark Christmas movie.

Loved this book! Complete festive rom com with every element you could want in here! I so want to visit the North Pole Forest, see all that they have there and take part in those wonderful winter activities. Very easy read, but one that I really got into and raced through. No real surprises but sometimes for just want a lovely comfortable read, don't you.

If you are looking for a lovely romantic Christmas read, look no further that this story. I will definitely look out for other books by this author.

I was realllllly enjoying this book and I think that the author has a real gift for describing christmas! There is nothing more festive I have read this year and it was going to be a 5 star read, however when I got about 60% through and the conversations into Tavs past started it went downhill rather quickly. I found this description to be very ableist and just made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I dont think the author meant any harm but this could have done with more sensitivity reviewers from members of the disabled community when talking about a character who was temporarily disabled.

I feel like this book in theory checks all the boxes of a perfect Christmas read, but in reality it fails to deliver.
It has wonderful winter wonderland scenery, love story, a bit if a drama, estranged father, aurora borealis, reindeers. But in reality even all of these could not save this book from being a bit of a chore. What really disappointed me was the father-daughter relationship and the father in particular. It was sort of resolved in the end, but I hated the father and I wanted him to just roll down the hill and freeze to death. Honestly.

Officially adding dog sledding through the forest with the northern lights over head to my bucket list! I am loving all of the Christmas books this season that describe the setting with such vivid details!

The Post Box at the North Pole by Jaimie Admans was an absolute joy to read! This story was filled with holiday charm and I loved everything about it from the setting to the characters.

As a child, Sasha loved Christmas. But after the tragic loss of her mother it had completely lost it's magic. Her father was estranged from her, always traveling the world. So one day when she gets a call from him all the way in Norway because he has had a heart attack, she decides to make the journey to see him. Turns out he has been running a Christmas Village and on doctors orders to slow down, Sasha -  who would love to reconnect with her father -  is forced to help out. Enter Taavi, a drop dead gorgeous man who is also helping out her father. The chemistry between the two is almost immediate and together, by answering letters to children writing to Santa, they may just be able to capture some Christmas magic!

This book had everything! A vivid, winter wonderland setting, an adorable Christmas Village complete with Santa's grotto and themed Christmas cabins. Igloos for viewing the northern lights, an actual Reindeer sanctuary and of course, a post office where letters to Santa come from all over the world! And don't forget, the perfect amount of holiday romance! If you are a fan of everything Christmas, this book was a delight and will fill your heart with holiday magic! Add it to your reading list this season because you won't be disappointed!

Short Review: Sugar, spice, and everything nice. A feel-good cozy Christmas read that will have you believing in love and Santa all over again.

Long Review: They say don't judge a book by its cover. However, for this book, go ahead and do it. They match perfectly. Completely feel-good and adorable. Just like the characters.

In this story, we follow Sasha who is down on her luck, just lost her job, and due to sad family history doesn't like Christmas. Then out of the blue, Sasha's estranged globe-trotting father, calls and begs her to come to come to help him at.....the North Pole. You see he's suffered a heart attack and needs her to come to Norway and help save his Reindeer sanctuary/North Pole village. Sasha has her reservations, but agrees and hops the next flight or rather flights to help her Dad.

What she doesn't plan on is finding children's heart-felt letters to Santa that melt her Grinch heart and her father's handsome right-hand man Taavi. For Sasha and Taavi, sparks fly as bright as the Northern lights. Will that be enough to overcome her past and save the village?

This book will have you craving hot cocoa, wishing for snow, and wanting a pet reindeer. A perfect holiday read.
