This is an excellent Christmas book of short stories featuring the Savoie sisters, one of my favorite witchy families. The stories take place at different times in the book timeline, and each story says where it fits in the series order. I think you must have read the 3 other books in series or some of the stories won’t make sense, and there will be spoilers.
I enjoyed reading these stories, they gave a more complete picture of the characters and expanded on their backstories. The characters are fascinating and well written. I think one of the strengths of the book and the series is the matter of fact way that supernatural characters like witches, werewolves, and vampires are addressed. They’re out there, of course, us mortals are just clueless about it. It makes the supernatural much easier to accept when you can imagine them in your world.
I highly recommend this book and the entire series, 5 stars.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Walking in a Witchy Wonderland contains five mini-stories following the Savoie Sisters.
Bewitch You a Merry Christmas
I haven't read Wolf Gone Wild but reading Evie and Mateo interaction and the steaminess makes me want to read it. I love reading how Evie dealt with a hex and how she got the people to make peace.
Rockin' Around the Hexmas Tree
This is a smut filled story that follows Devraj and Isadora. Showing what a meddling family Savoie are. Also, the fun that can be had with a White Elephant Gift Exchange.
Jingle Bell Jock
Jingle Bell Jock follows Charlie and JJ. They are mention in the previous books. I was happy to read how they moved out of the friend zone. Also Holy Hell it is Hot.
You're a Mean One, Mr Grim
The pairing of Livvy and Gareth had picked my interest as it's mention in other books. I like seeing into Gareth mind and what happening in the PR Competition.
Jingle Spells
This story follows Nico and Violet on Babysitting duty. I love the fun with the triplets. Mateo protectiveness. Also the smut at the end.
Overall Walking in a Witchy Wonderland is a fun, Flirty, smutty easy to read book. It is a great addition to the Stay a Spell Series.
My rating for Walking in a Witchy Wonderland is 4 out of 5.

Thank you to Netgalley and Juliette Cross for gifting me a copy for review.
Who doesn't want to go Walking in a Witchy Wonderland full of witches, werewolves, grims and all kinds of magical creatures and their sexy love stories? Juliette Cross gifted an amazing collection of five different flavoured romance in Stay a Spell World and I enjoyed every second of it! It was sweet, flirty, sexy, emotional and full of all kinds of holiday vibes.
In this holiday Anthology, I caught up with the Savoie sisters and their friends and families. And I have fallen in love with them even more. Be it Evie and her growling alpha werewolf mate Mateo. Be it Isadora and her gorgeous glamorous vampire partner Devraj. Be it Violet and her complicated intense werewolf soulmate Nico. You get a MM romance between two family friends of them. You will get to see the sizzling hot beginning of Livvie and her competitor Gareth the grim. I fall under the spell of this charming magical world all over again!
I reviewed an early copy voluntarily
This book started off extremely spicy from get-go. I prefer a little bit more build up in my romance novels. However, I attribute this to having read solely this book and not the first parts of the series. I enjoyed the authors use fantastical characters, this made them a little more interesting. Overall, your standard steamy romance novel. Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to review this title in exchange of an honest review.

Bewitch You A Merry Christmas: Always the peacemaker, Evie conjures Christmas magic between a hexed hottie and his witchy neighbor, while Mateo and Alpha plan to do whatever it takes to get some alone time with their girl.
Rockin’ Around The Hexmas Tree: A Dirty Santa gift with a very special hex boosts Devraj and Isadora’s sex life from sizzling hot to scorching.
Jingle Bell Jock: On New Year’s Eve, a new man puts the moves on Charlie. Tired of pining for his best friend, he’s ready to move on. Fortunately, JJ’s jealousy is just the right ingredient to move them well out of the friend zone.
You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grim: Her first glimpse of grim reaper Gareth Blackwater evokes a major case of insta-hate in Lavinia. In that same moment, Gareth is hit with insta-lust. Fate is playing with them both, and neither one is happy about it.
Jingle Spells: Nico and Violet laugh their way through their first babysitting adventure. But laughter turns to lust when Nico’s “dad” vibes tug on Violet’s maternal heartstrings.
I haven't read any of the Stay a Spell series so these books were a brief introduction to the series for me. Unfortunately as these were five different short stories, I struggled to connect with them and feel that this book cannot be read as a standalone.
Whilst I didn't connect with the book, it is a cosy, Christmassy book that is easily read in one sitting. This is definitely a book for the fans of the series, especially the fans that enjoy spice.
Rating 3/5
I am so happy to have received this ARC from the author. It had me smiling like a dork the entire time. I loved every single short story. At first it was hard to choose a favorite but the last one was just too adorable to not be a favorite.
Bewitch You a Merry Christmas ~ this one follows Evie and Mateo, and of cause Alpha. Evie needs to help with Violet and Clara’s birthday party along with getting a hex off a man. But all Mateo and obviously Alpha, wants us to get Evie alone. I missed this couple from book 1.
Rockin Around the Hexmas Tree~ follows Isadora and Devraj. At their family Christmas gift exchange, Izzy falls in love with an ornament and one rule of the game is that you can steal others gifts. On top of the cute family Christmas, we also get great sex scenes because Izzy and Dev just can’t stop having intense love making. Spicy!!!!
Jingle Bell Jock~ YAYYY, we get to follow JJ an Charlie. Charlie has been in love with his best friend JJ for years. JJ has been completely oblivious the whole time until the New Years Eve party. He becomes completely jealous of the attention Charlie is getting from a younger man. And we finally get too see these two fall in love.
You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grim~ this follows Livvy and Gareth who is a grim. Sneak peak into a future book. We learn about a secret power that grims have because Gareth cannot control himself around Livvy no matter how hard he tries. Livvy learns that she also cannot block out the lust she has for him. I wouldn’t say it’s a hate to love, more like rivalry to obviously love and I’m excited.
Jingle Spells~ MY FAVORITE. This follows Nico and Violet. In this they’re babysitting the triplets, Diego, Joaquin and Celine who are Evie and Mateo’s kids. Nico and Violet have to juggle with three babies who all have their own cute little personalities and it had be gushing. Violet watching Nico parent his little nephews and niece makes her fall even more in love. It was so cute😭😭
I LOVED THIS SO MUCH!!!!! Thank you so much Juliette Cross💖💖
I was unable to download this book before it was archived, but I do plan to read it and I loved the first book in this series. I believe this book will be super cute for the holidays.
Walking in a Witchy Wonderland is set in the Stay a Spell world and includes five short stories about the Savoie sisters during the Christmas holiday. Walking in a Witchy Wonderland was absolutely delightful. We get a little extra peak into the lives of the Savoie sisters and what's next for them after (and some during) the events of the last book in the Stay a Spell series; Witches Get Stitches.
I just love this world and these characters. Each sister is so different and their dynamic together is simply amazing. The banter between the various characters is definitely the best part of every story set in this world. In Walking in a Witchy Wonderland we catch up with Evie and Mateo, Isadora and Devraj and Nico and Violet. AND! We finally get to read a story from Lavinia's perspective in which we learn more about her and the mysterious grim Gareth. We also read a story from Charlie and JJ's perspective and let me tell you, it's just the cutest!
Once again Juliette Cross has crafted a delicious tale filled with steamy moments and laugh-out-loud moments. I can't wait to read the next installment in the Stay a Spell series.
'Walking in a Witchy Wonderland': 3⭐
(Unpaid Review: thank you to @juliettecross, @netgalley and the publishers for allowing me to read this eArc copy in exchange for a review).
This book is a collection of short stories based on the Savoie Sisters and their extended family. It's an addition to the separate books on each sister. I really enjoyed reading each story but I have to say Mateo and Evie's was my favorite one. 🥰 Love a good werewolf with a mind of it's own and a good witch, full boss-babe! Love them so much!
Absolutely loved all the spice 🌶️ in the stories, made them have much more character! JJ and Charlie, ugh, absolute OTP, friends to lovers, who doesn't love that? And they're LGBTQ+ characters, which we love to see! ⭐
Overall, this is a very cozy, christmassy, atmospheric and witchy book, perfect to read in a go! (I haven't read the other books first, so that's why my rating isn't higher).
Who knew I needed holiday paranormal short stories featuring witches, wolves, vampires and warlocks having steamy sex. WHAT?!?!? OK!
The Savoie sister, their men, (who are hot as F***) and their extended family are featured in Walking in a Witchy Wonderland short stories. This novel is super fun, saucy and a break from traditional holiday romance novels. Always practice Safe Hex!

This festive anthology reunites us with all the main characters from the Stay a Spell world we’ve met so far. Every short story follows a different couple and there’s a helpful note at the start of each one to remind us when in the series it’s set. Yay for no timeline confusion!
Not only do we get to catch up with the first three couples of the series, (yay for more of the Mateo/Alpha POV!) we also get a full section on Livvy and Gareth, and Charlie and JJ! Fear not, Clara and Henry also have their moment to shine but we don’t have anything from their POVs yet.
Thanks to Gareth’s POV we do get some more information about Grim abilities but with one of those discoveries comes another question about Henry. Apparently Grims are so secretive even their inner monologue is cryptic 😂 The sparks between Livvy and Gareth were flying in their story and it’s only made me even more excited for their book.
Jules and Ruben fans manage your expectations. They pop up but we’re going to have to wait for the good stuff. Let’s be honest we know whatever drama caused the rift between them will be worth holding out for. We do see new sides to Jules which I enjoyed. I won’t spoil the biggest surprise but our gal picks out her own Christmas present and I’m 100% here for that energy.
There are kiddos! Reading about Violet and Nico’s first attempt at babysitting was hilarious. “How hard can it be?” Well they soon leant! Also, I’m going to need a whole other book (or 3) on Evie and Matteo’s children and how their gifts develop.
This was just what I needed to help with the wait for book 4. While there are a lot of festive events in this collection of stories I didn’t get the “It’s too soon!” feeling from reading it in September. I’ll likely reread it in December for the excellent combination of antics and warm, fuzzy feelings, but, I do think this can be read at any point in the year without it being weird.
5/5🌟 this is an excellent addition to the Stay a Spell series. Out on the 5th October you can preorder it now! I received a free review copy of this book through @netgalley 📖
I loved this! 5 short stories with steam and more of the Savoie Sisters. I would definitely recommend, I couldn’t get enough. I love all things in the Stay A Spell World
***5 Stars***
Not only am I huge fan of the author, but I’m a huge fan of what I call slices of life after the HEA happens. I like catching up with the characters and just see how things are going for them. So when this anthology was announced, I was all in and I wasn’t not disappointed.
This is a great addition to the Stay a Spell series and world. All of the stories in here are quick reads, but not only reinforces how good each couple is together ~ or will possibly be in one case ~ but also that family bond that the Savoie sisters have, but also their men and the people (and animals) they call their own.
I don’t have a clear favorite of the bunch, but if I was forced to pick one, I’d have to go with Jingle Spells. But while these are all short stories, they are very well written and will have those who have already met the Savoie sisters very happy.
If you haven’t? Well, I highly, HIGHLY, recommend that if you haven’t started the series that you do before diving into this anthology because all the stories take place, more or less, after the second book in the series ~ Don’t Hex and Drive ~ and you honestly don’t want to miss out on all that goes on in those books.
Note: Before each story there is a little note as to where the story falls in the series, which I did appreciate even though I have read all the books thus far.

Walking in a Witchy Wonderland is simply another wonderful and incredibly sexy contribution from Juliette Cross ! Our favourite characters return in a series of short, supporting stories to their books and in anticipation of the next in The Stay a Spell series. Overall this was just a lovely set of stories that just adds some lovely snippets of family life, lovely hints of normality and behind the scenes that cement each couple and thier lives/love as something a bit more.special than it already was, fabulous.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion .
I NEVER want Juliette Cross to stop writing about the Savoie Sisters and the Supes of New Orleans. Walking in a Witchy Wonderland was simply wonderful and incredibly HAWT! Like grab a glass of ice water, not an old-fashioned or certainly not some of JJ’s eggnog, turn the a/c to 65, and turn the ceiling fan on high HAWT. Evie and Mateo, Isadora and Devraj, and Violet and Nico can and will absolutely melt your kindle or whatever ereader you’re using, but the tension between JJ and Charlie, Clara and Henry, and Livvy and Garreth, whew! This only made my anticipation for the next book in The Stay a Spell series that much more intense, and I really want to reread every book now!! Grab you a copy ASAP!
Walking In A Witchy Wonderland by Juliette Cross
5*
In case you haven’t had the opportunity to experience and bask in the beauty that is Juliette Cross and her breathtaking writing, then let me tell you - she has gifted readers with yet another truly spectacular supernatural series, this time featuring the striking, witchy Savoie sisters and the paranormal men that fall irrevocably in love with them. And, no, I’m not going to apologise for all of the alliteration because that’s how giddy-excited I am about this truly beautiful, festive box set, filled to the brim with five sensual, fun and utterly delightful romance tales, or teasers as the case may be.
Although it was so thrilling to get more of my favourite couples - and the spine-tingling heat and passion, the magic and mischief that encompasses them all - my favourite tale out of all of these has got to be JJ and Charlie’s love story.
Nothing gets my heart beating double-time quite like a best friend-to-lovers romance story and with JJ and Charlie we get to experience all of that fear and confusion, the understanding and longing, the chase and the ensuing inferno of desire. Author Juliette Cross is amazing at building the sexual tension, letting it sizzle and stir, whilst adding a smidge of drama and suspense to their situation so you can’t help but be completely and one hundred percent invested in their relationship and happy-ever-after.
The heat factor for each story was absolutely delicious, provocative, explicit and utterly romantic. There is no denying that each couple is madly, passionately in love. But it was also those nuggets of family life, of laughter and of love shining through that helped cement each short story as something more. There was more depth. More emotion. Just, more.
I’m so excited to see what this author has in store for us next, particularly with those sneak peeks and teasers of upcoming possible couples.
What a treat this was! I was in a pretty major slump and visiting with my favorite fictional witchy family pulled me right out of it! These short holiday stories are funny and steamy and provide a fun look into the lives of each couple. In the first story, Mateo and Evie are missing alone time with each other and have to help plan a birthday party for the twins before they can get some much needed quality time together. The tension ratchets up between them until it reaches a fever pitch and the payoff is so good. In the second story we get to see Devraj and Isadora navigate some intense lust that may or may not be caused by a suspect white elephant gift. I love their chemistry and this one made me feel like my skin was on fire. In the third story we finally get to see what happened between Charlie and JJ to cause their dynamic to change in Witches Get Stitches. In the 4th story we are introduced to a new couple, Livvy and Gareth. I can already tell that things are going to be SO hot between them. And finally, we get to visit with Nico and Violet who are babysitting some adorable babies and it such a painfully accurate depiction. You'll have to read to find out who they belong to and which parent is the most adorably over protective mess I've ever read. I highly recommend this short story collection and the rest o the Stay a Spell series!!
Ever since I saw Wolf Gone Wild make its rounds on Bookstagram, I wanted to dive into Cross's writing and what can I say? I was absolutely enchanted by the holiday-themed stories we got in this collection! While I obviously don't know the characters from the original series, I can't speak for their portrayal but what I can say is that each of these stories was warm, witty, wholesome and a whole lot of fun to read!
This definitely convinced me to pick up the Wolf Gone Wild series myself!
A short holiday anthology featuring couples in the Stay a Spell series. This cannot be read as a standalone.
I’m not the biggest fan of anthologies, especially when they take place in the middle of a series. The timelines can get a bit confusing for me, particularly when it’s an ongoing series that I cannot binge read. That being said, the set up for Gareth and Livvy’s book is brilliantly done and I cannot wait for these two to fall in love. Gareth is 🥵 We finally find out what image Gareth had telepathically sent to Livvy 😏
There are also some great scenes featuring Henry and Clara as well as Ruben and Jules in Devraj and Isadora’s short story. I’m super pumped for the final 3 couples of this series!
Lastly, it is always great catching up with Alpha 🤣
The Stay A Spell series is my favorite paranormal romance series so I was THRILLED to hear we were getting a holiday anthology with bonus epilogues of some of our favorite couples AND two completely new couples!
This book delivered on every expectation I had and even exceeded it. I looooved seeing more scenes with Evie and Mateo, and Isadora and Devraj. It felt so cozy and comfortable, but also verrrrry hot and steamy. I also really loved the stories from two new couples! One is an m/m romance and the other is an entirely new couple that will be featured in their own book!
I loved every single page and definitely see myself rereading it every Christmas season!
