I love that it teaches young children the importance of being themselves and listening to their own hearts.

This is a cute Halloween story about a little witch who doesn't want to be scary. Tradition is that witches are scary, especially on Halloween. However, Charlotte doesn't want to wear a scary costume. With the help of her grandmother, a witch who marches to the neat of her own drum, Charlotte will discover she can be whoever she wants to be. The art is fine, colorful which is nice. The font is easy to read and the story is nice.

Halloween is my favorite day of the year, so I was excited to give this book a look. This story is really cute and teaches children about the importance of individuality and following their heart. I really loved the art in this book. It is so vibrant with super eye-catching, lively illustrations. Where can I get a dress like the one Charlotte's mom wears? I definitely recommend this book.

Charlotte is a young witch. As Halloween approaches, she does not want to follow her family tradition of dressing as a scary witch. Can she do something different? What costumes will she reject? What plan will she carry out? What is the message of this holiday story for young children?

The Secret Halloween Costume is a fun and lovely tale of breaking free of social norms. Little witches can explore their own interests and wants to become something unique and beautiful.
This book is beautifully illustrated and perfect for the child in your life, especially around the Halloween season. One aspect I truly enjoy is that the witches portrayed in the book are not old and green, but they are normal people just like you and me. It helps children realize that it's what's on the inside that matters and you can be what you want to be.

I highly recommend this book for a Halloween Gift!

Very cute little book with adorable illustrations. I really like the moral of being yourself mixed in with the fun of a Halloween themed story. Would make a great gift for the little ones for Halloween.

I’m so happy we are finally in that time of year where halloween books, movies and decorations are starting to show up, even though we’re only in September I’m already planning to immerse myself in all things spook.
It was really wonderful to start with this cute short book.

Charlotte is tired of always dressing as a scary witch for halloween even if it’s the tradition, she doesn’t want to spook people anymore so with the help of her two best friends and her grandmother she searches for a costume that will make her feel good and more herself.

First of all, I loved the art, it has all things halloween, pumpkins, ghosts, black cats and of course witches, I’m sure the kids are going to love looking at the pictures and trying to find the little hidden details.
The story too was really cute and the message of breaking the mold and finding what makes you feel good it’s so very important.

This was a very educative and aesthetically pleasing book, definitely worth buying for the kids.

This book was so fun! Charlotte is a young witch and for Halloween tradition says she should dress as a scary witch for Halloween, but Charlotte doesn't want to be scary. With the help of friends and family she comes up with a great alternative. I think this book sends a really great message for kids to be their true selves even if it is not what is expected of them. I will definitely be recommending this book to our school library. The illustrations were also stunning, bright and bold colour and adorable drawings.

The Secret Halloween Costume is a sweet book that is about listening to your heart and doing what you feel is right. Young witch Charlotte is sick of dressing up as a scary witch every Halloween. When she wishes to break from tradition her mother insists that dressing scary is what a good witch always does. With the help of her friends and grandmother, Charlotte is able to be what she truly want a to be for Halloween and also helps her classmates do the same.

This book was really cute and shared a great message for children about being yourself. The illustrations were bright and colorful and the font was large enough for story time. This book is perfect for Halloween time and for any little witches who love Halloween year round.
