Advice columnist Violet comes home early to celebrate the news that she is in the running for a national syndication. Only to find her husband in bed with another woman. Dez is the fire fighter who puts out the fire Violet creates burning her cheating husbands clothes in a fit of rage. Dez turns out to be the person who helps Violet get over her rage and get back to herself: with a big dose of humor…and burning.
This is a wonderful book peopled with attractive quirky and multidimensional characters. The plot is gripping yet delightful as Violet deals with her rage in such a funny way. You are really rooting for Violet’s HEA! I loved this book and would recommend it to my patrons (and friends!).
