I loved this story focusing on how things are not always what they seem! It was the right length and pacing and dialogue with different animals the bird met. Some of the illustrations reminded me of thumbelina which is a favorite of mine!

This is a charming book-about things are not always as they seem. I enjoyed the rhyming as well. Very cute. 4.5 stars
