The excitement and celebration of Christmas morning are shattered when numerous explosions occur around the state of Colorado. With the evidence pointing towards multiple bombs and as the death toll rises, Colorado Bureau of Investigation agent Buck Taylor and his team are dispatched to several crime scenes. Sifting through the wreckage, it’s up to them to determine if these bombings are the work of a mad bomber, terrorists, or home-grown extremists and if they are personal or politically motivated. And more importantly, will there be more?

Making their jobs harder is an overzealous FBI agent with a personal agenda, who has taken over the investigations and will stop at nothing to prove he is right, and the evidence is wrong. In the end, he will put the lives of Buck’s entire team in jeopardy as they follow the evidence towards several shocking conclusions.
loved the characters and really enjoyed how it was written!
This is truly an unstoppable read! And I loved every minute of it!

What an incredible book! I had never heard of this author or series before but the premise sounded interesting, so I thought I would give it a shot. I am so glad I did because wow, what a good book!
I could not help but connect with Buck and his coca-cola addiction! You instantly get a feel for Buck, his team and his family. I was able to easily pick up this book 8 and not miss any important back story. I am now going to go find book one in this series.
As a huge David Rosenfelt fan, this book had a very similar vibe.
I highly recommend this book.
