This was a fun, short read. It was an interesting concept but I wanted more. The ending left a lot of unanswered questions.

Tagged is a very short story about people working in an office. The workers are all going about their day while something unknown is being transferred amongst the people via contact. I love the premise of the story, but there just wasn’t enough development for me to care about any of the people or anything that happened to them. Perhaps this would have been a wonderful longer short story or novella. This just left me wanting more.
Oh my goodness what did I just read??? The office is scary enough with gossip and deadlines and overbearing supervisors and now this? I'll never look at the rows of cubicles the same way! Creepy and dark, this is a must read.
Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read this quick read!
This was fun and spooky, especially the idea of the children's game Tag! turning into something so freaky! I loved this premise and the author did a great job of creating very scary scenes for the reader but, unfortunately, I did not love how it ended.
I felt cheated at the end! It left me with questions and I wish I could have experienced more of the story or at least a better wrap up.
I'm just going to go ahead and say it... I'm mad.
I'm mad because I wanted more! I was actually incredibly hyped up to read this- I had no idea it was a short story, and was expecting perhaps a short, quick read of a novel. I absolutely loved the given description; for whatever reason, it really piqued my interest and wondering where the author would go with it.
Maybe it could have worked with a longer short story, but unfortunately, this just... doesn't really go anywhere. I guess it's vaguely spooky, and I do think that the idea has potential, but it's sort of just there. It starts and it ends, there's not much development and doesn't really evoke any emotion in you.
If this is ever fleshed out into a full novel, I'll still happily give it a try. As it stands, though, this was disappointing.

This was a fun, short read. Creative and quite unique. It had a solid spook factor. The ending, however, was lack luster, leaving me with too many questions and the story with too many unexplored avenues.
Tagged is an interested concept, but it just never goes anywhere. This could be in part due to the fact that it's only 20 pages long. There's no character development and nothing really happens other than the person who's "it" standing around in a daze. If this short story were fully fleshed out into a novelette with a resolution of sorts, then maybe there'd be something here.
