Another winner in the Highland Falls series. Mason has the best small town stories with fun characters you want to revisit over and over.

I accidentally dropped off on this series for a while, but I'm super glad I picked it back up. The Inn on Mirror Lake is sweet, funny, and full of quirky characters that it's easy to love. Judge and grandpa are awesome little old men - they stole the story at times! The romance is great, and the family dynamic and drama only adds to the experience. Loved it!

Another great addition to Debbie Mason's Highland Falls series. I've read all of the books so far and adore each one. The Inn on Mirror Lake follows the story of Ellie who is trying to protect herself and her grandfather from her mother's devious plans... of course, with a little help from Nate, an old "almost flame." The plot of this book is interesting and unique with twists, lies, and scandal. I really like the characters Mason has created for this series - and their quirky attributes. Good read here, I can't wait for the next book to be released!

This is my sixth book by Debbie Mason that I have read, this book is the fourth in the Highland Falls series. Debbie Mason did it again with all of the feels! I laughed in this book with the renovations and the mishaps. This book literally had me smiling while I was reading, giggling in the corner.

"The Inn on Mirror Lake" by Debbie Mason is a heartwarming romance novel set in the small town of Starlight, Vermont. The story follows the life of Vanessa, a successful photographer who inherits her aunt's quaint bed and breakfast, The Inn on Mirror Lake. Vanessa's arrival in town is met with mixed emotions from the locals, especially from the handsome and charming Jack, who owns the town's only hotel and has his own plans for The Inn on Mirror Lake.

As Vanessa tries to settle into her new life and make the inn a success, she faces numerous challenges, including the disrepair of the property, the skepticism of the locals, and her growing attraction to Jack. However, with the help of a quirky cast of characters, including her aunt's feisty best friend, Vanessa slowly begins to transform the inn into a charming and popular destination.

Throughout the novel, Mason weaves a heartwarming tale of love, family, and the power of community. The chemistry between Vanessa and Jack is palpable, and their banter and flirtation are delightful to read. Mason does an excellent job of building tension between the two characters, keeping readers guessing until the very end.

One of the strongest elements of the novel is the setting. Mason vividly describes the picturesque town of Starlight, Vermont, and its surrounding natural beauty. The small town charm is irresistible, and readers will find themselves wanting to book a stay at The Inn on Mirror Lake.

Overall, "The Inn on Mirror Lake" is a delightful and heartwarming read. The characters are charming, the setting is enchanting, and the romance is swoon-worthy. Mason's writing is engaging and witty, and she has created a story that will leave readers feeling warm and fuzzy inside. This novel is a perfect escape for anyone looking for a sweet and uplifting romance.

When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect book to snuggle up with on any day.

This was a good read. This is part of a series, but I didn't feel lost with the characters from previous books being in this one. I felt like they were given enough background to make it easy for this one to be read as a stand alone. The writing flowed well from start to finish, and I liked Nate and Ellie together for the most part. I wanted to shake them both though. Nate did some stupid things, and pushed Ellie away too many times. Ellie was head over hills in love with Nate pretty much as soon as the story started, and got hurt every time Nate did stupid things. I did think they had good chemistry, and I was happy to see everything work out for them. I liked the secondary characters, and the story line of the most romantic town in America. There was some mystery in the mix too. I felt like there were times when things happened to easily (Ryder changing, Ellie forgiving her mom, etc.) but I was able to over look it and enjoy the story. I thought the ending was very sweet, and I love that Nate and Ellie got their HEA.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

This was a quirky romance with lots of fun characters and a story with lots of fun, heart and twists and turns.

This is book four in the Highland Falls series and it stars Ellie and Nate, who enjoy a fake relationship. I loved the amazing cast of characters that make this such a fun story and I was on the edge of my seat for all the drama that you expect when reading a book by this author.

In this story Nate and Ellie fight against her family trying to sell the Inn that has been in her family forever. With the help of Granny MacLeod, Grandfather Joe, the Judge, and the rest of the town this made for a really fun story that I really enjoyed reading.

This one was so fun! There is something so charming about this Highland Falls series! Though there is drama, suspense, and matchmaking by meddling elders, there is also a beautiful depth to the story.
We are dealing with traumas, and many difficult subjects.
CW: death of a loved one, death of a parent, domestic abuse, grief, difficult family dynamics (cheating parents and such things)
Mason handles these subjects with great care, and I handled things well.
Small Town romances have their own kind of charm, and Mason knows how to give it all to us. I'm hopeful of the next book in the series!!! (I'm hoping it's Bri and Cal!)

This is the 4th book in the Highland Falls series and while this can be read as a stand-alone, I adore this series and recommend you start at the beginning. All the books have dogs and they definitely add to my enjoyment.

Ellie and Nate's story also includes a surly teenager, some psychic powers, a federal agent, some unsupportive family members (to put it mildly), an ex-fiancée, wonderful/quirky grandparents, interfering friends, and a town with a character all of its own. There's a slow burn romance along with a couple of light mystery storylines. I love the dialogue, the community connections, the friendships, the mystery, and the romance! It might be a little over the top, and I was totally fine with that- it was a wonderful escapist story that kept me reading.

Thanks to the publisher for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Elliana Black has moved back to the Inn on Mirror Lake to help care for her Grandfather after he had some health issues. She has found that her mother wants to move her father into a nursing home and sell the inn. However, Elliana is not willing to give up; She has decided to make upgrades to the Inn for a number of reasons and her friends are helping. But a specific friend, Nathan Black has also agreed to help. Nathan the man who makes her heart beat a bit faster has agreed to help despite the struggles he is dealing with.

This novel is beyond brilliant. I couldn't put it down and more than that didn't want to! It was action packed and the romance was perfect. The storyline was fun and interesting. On top of that there was an element of "fantasy" that made the novel elevated. This was a romance novel where I was not able to guess the entire ending which made me happy! This has been the BEST summer read thus far!

This is one of my favorite authors! Her books feel like reading a soap opera. Each one follows a new couple, but the other couples still make appearances. I love the characters and look forward to the next book!

I always like going back to towns and places that authors revisit. As I read the story I have a lot of "oh yeah" moments when memories of characters and stories from past books in the series. The Inn on Mirror Lake did just that for me, and I was drawn into the story quickly. Loved the characters' development and was surprised at the ending - I didn't see it coming the way it did. Thanks for Nate and Ellie's story.

Elliana is trying to help her grandpa fix up the family business before her mother and family come in to sweep it out from under them and put him in a nursing home. On top of that she's managed to land herself in the Most Romantic Small town in America with Nate who is a cop that's currently helping her out. He really isn't much for relationships and got his plate full but will help Elliana any way that he can.

I enjoyed reading this book. The idea of Elliana having some type of psychic power was pretty interesting. Then there was Elliana's mother who I really detested I mean what was up with that lady? Even after getting to know what was the reasoning still her actions were pretty ridiculous towards her family. There was so much going on to keep any readers. Theres also the romance which I enjoyed, Nate was really trying to fight that but it was interesting seeing how everything played out. I mean it is a small town so there will be some meddling from those around and it was just an enjoyable read overall.

I really enjoyed this book! I felt like I was a part of it and watching it in movie format. The details and the characters are easily laid out and you know exactly what the setting is and exactly what’s happening the entire time. The story is sweet and definitely keeps you wondering what will happen in the end! These are the best romance stories!
