Like with the first book in the series. I found the first half hard to follow. It's an interesting story and plot, but there is so much jumping back and forth that I couldn't always keep it straight and figure out what was actually going on.

The writing is good. I love Sandy, and can't wait to see what role she plays in the series. Meriel is an interesting main character, though I personally feel her relationship with John is kind of forced at some points. I will take the forced relationship though, for the Sandy content.

It's a lovable band of misfits and the book is definitely worth giving a chance for people looking to get into Sci-Fi.

I have never heard of this author, but I want to give my honest opinion. This was a very fast paced action thrilling book. It was a definite page turner. I enjoyed reading the book, and would definitely recommend this book to everyone!

PANDORA'S RAZOR by Ray Strong

This is a science fiction novel, the blurb attracted me, but the book itself did not hold my attention. The cover looks great!

I remember enjoying the first book in this series a few years ago so was looking forward to reading this. Unfortunately this book just didn’t do it for me at all and I didn’t enjoy it
The book seemed to focus more of space bureaucracy which is fine but not what I was hoping for. I felt like the book kept building up to exciting events but then they were over so quickly
A lot of the characters in this book walked into some pretty obvious traps which didn’t feel in keeping with their characters
A lot of the dialogue felt clunky, especially when Meriel and Liz kept saying ‘sis’ while in conversation with each other. I have never called my sister ‘sis’ in conversation and neither have any of my friends or colleagues (this irked me so much that I had to ask others if I was just being irrationally annoys by this, general consensus was that it was weird). I’ll put this down to people in space being extra quirky
