Hunter's Hope is action-packed and a lot of fun. I loved that Alice was a ghost whisperer. Ghosts add a layer of spookiness to a story that I love. Alice's ability to talk to animals was also a cute quirk and it made her character very appealing and likeable. Charlie, the minor demon, was a surprisingly cute addition to her menagerie.
Alice and Hunter have an insta-love/lust thing going on but, the story was so fast-paced that the speed of their relationship worked in the overall scheme of things.
Very little in this story has anything to do with a motorcycle club and I always find it a bit odd that this series is branded as a motorcycle club series.
Overall, it is a lighthearted and fun read that entertained me. I look forward to reading the next in the series.

I enjoyed this lovely escape from reality. Alice is understandably a bit quirky, which I enjoyed right away. Her pet rescue facility has a fun assortment of odd animals, which only adds to her likeability and the fun factor of the story. She and Hunter made a good couple, he appreciates her strengths even while trying to protect her. They each made the other stronger. Their romance edged a bit toward the too sweet side, but that was tempered with a sexiness I enjoyed.
There was danger directed at everyone, but it didn’t have me chewing my nails as I read. The suspenseful story wrapped wonderfully around the group dynamics of the vampires and werewolves. I loved their camaraderie and banter! It made me wish I were a part of it all.
It’s a fun quick read full of smiles, laughter, danger, and steamy romance. Now I need to go back and purchase book one while waiting for the next installment!

Hunter's Hope is the second book in the Vampire Motorcycle Club by Alyssa Day. I had not read the previous book and I was easily able to read this as a standalone romance.
This was a fun vampire romance with all sorts of surprises. I loved the main characters, Hunter and Alice. They are so sweet and I could not get enough of them! I really enjoyed their story!
I enjoyed reading this book. The story was great, with lots of heart and adventure.
I will be reading the first book in the series, Bane's Choice, and any future books because I loved the world the author created and I look forward to returning! I definitely recommend reading this if you love vampire romance!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Hunter's Hope by Alyssa Day is the 2nd book in the Vampire's Motorcycle Club series. I had not read the first book in the series but had no trouble reading the book as a standalone. A paranormal romance that contains not only vampire's, werewolve's and other assorted other worldly beings. This book centers around Alice and Hunter, I enjoyed their storyline. The beginning was a little slow but because more action packed as the book moved along.
I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for my honest review.
The second book in the Vampire Motorcycle Club, Hunter's Hope is a compelling read. Hunter and Alice are engaging and with the other characters the dynamics is intriguing. The story is action packed and well paced. Overall this is a great addition to the series and one I would recommend.
We really loved Hunter and Alice's story.
What an unusual pairing yet perfect for one another. We loved the fact that Hunter had better luck with women this time around as a vampire than he did when he was a human and a firefighter. Loved
Hunter's possessiveness and protectiveness, he came off all alpha baby!
Hunter was great, we loved seeing him grow and yet be vulnerable, at least when it came to spilling his guts to Alice. We also loved the fact that these pairings lead you in the direction of finding other paranormal, adding to the mix of this crazy big paranormal family.
Alice was such a sweetheart and had a kind of loving heart, loved how she tried playing at the sexy siren scenario only to blush when making her moves. Alice has not had an easy life and her past is encroaching once again coupled with her special abilities and along with learning that there are vampires, shifters, demons, warlocks, and it's a lot to take in but, she is a fierce little thing taking it all in stride making her even more attractive to Hunter than she already is and nothing but, a little warrior in our eyes.
We absolutely love Meara she is a bada** and scary as all get out but, we also love how she befriends and shows generosity to the ones she cares about taking them into the fold and under her wing making them one big happy family. Such a generous heart for such a deadly vampire and we love her wicked sense of humor, she reminds me a lot of Nina Stapleton from Dakota Cassidy's ACCIDENTAL SERIES.
Another enjoyable romp in the paranormal world where nothing is as it seems and a lot of drama constantly going on. Loved the cast of characters and how all the paranormal are playing nice with one another, well most of them. We thought Hunter and Alice made a cute couple and loved the fact that Alice has this large and wonderful family to watch over her and protect her at all cost, and that includes the wolf shifters also. The story brought a ton of smiles and more than a few chuckles, we have no doubt that Alice with fit right in with this crazy bunch of vampires that we have come to love so much.
Hunter’s Hope by Alyssa Day
2nd book in the Vampire’s Motorcycle Club series. Paranormal romance. Can be read as a stand-alone but better if you know the background of the players from the first book.
Hunter was a firefighter turned vampire in the first book. This book has Hunter learning what he can do and trying to stop his blood hunger by snacking on Alice. Wait. By trying to avoid snacking on Alice.
Alice sees ghosts and has a minor demon living in her pet sanctuary. A minor demon means someone more nasty is probably going to be a problem soon though. Thankfully Hunter will be around to help.
It’s an adventure from ghosts, sneaky ferrets, a mini dragon and pirates treasure all while Hunter and Alice deal with their pasts and moving their relationship forward.
Captivating and enjoyable.
I received a copy of this from NetGalley. I also purchased a copy to share.

I wish I liked this more to be honest because the writing style is fun and I like a lot of elements of the story but the beginning was too slow for me and I didn't fully connected with the main characters.
Still I liked the story and the paranormal/ vampire twist with the motorcycle romance. It was a fresh look of the genre.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is book 2 in the Vampire Motorcycle Club and it can definitely be read as a stand alone, but I did like the first book so I recommend that one as well. In this one we get Hunter Evans and Alice Darlington's story. Hunter was a fire fighter who risked his life on a daily basis, but then he lost his life saving a child-and woke as a vampire. Now he is fighting his new urges on a daily basis, especially as they are completely opposite of who he used to be. When what he does puts a woman in danger though, he will stop at nothing in order to protect her. Alice is hiding her own secrets, such as she can see ghosts. But now her past is catching up to her in the hopes of using what she can do. She doesn't know who she can trust but she knows she has to run. And when Hunter is trying to protect her, he is also fighting his own urges towards her. Can he keep her safe not only from the ones hunting her but from himself?
I really liked this story. Hunter was always this stand up, good guy but now he has these urges that hound him. It gave him this edge that I really liked! Alice is this sweet and kind woman who has a will of steel. She is the type who will never stop fighting for those she cares about or what she believes in. They have this instant chemistry that is just hot as all get out! The action and story is pretty fast paced and kept me engaged and wanting to know more right from the start. All in all, I think I liked this one better than the first! It definitely let me wanting to know more about some of the other characters that are in it.
Relationships, whether they were romantic or friendships was done in a beautiful manner. I love the friendships that Alice had developed with the girls, it was like a natural thing which is rare. However, I wished that the story was extended; it's not a short story but just that everything happened way too fast.
I rated it 4.5
Thank you NetGalley for sending me this ARC.
Hunter "Nice Guy" Evans newly turned, and a member of the Vampire Motorcycle Club hasn't had much luck with women even as a human, and no interest in women since he became a vampire, until he meets Alice Darlington, owner of little Darlings Animal Rescue, who happens to speaks to Ghosts and has an emotional connection to animals. Hunter, and Alice meet one night, and Hunter's intrigued by Alice, and her gifts. Hunter breaks the rules, and shows Alice that he's a vampire that protects his own as well as humans from the CHAMBER, which is run by Warlocks that want to destroy the Vampires, and Werewolves. Unfortunately, the CHAMBER have taken an interest in Alice, and her abilities. Will Hunter be able to protect Alice, as he fights his own thirst as a newly turned vampire?
I fell wicked fast and super hard for Hunter and Alice. I loved book one of this series and can't even really believe that somehow book two managed to be even better, but I swear it was. This is in fact only my second book by this author and I am stunned by what I've been missing. I find the writing extremely well done and the reading is smooth and easy. I was quickly pulled into the unfolding story and its brewing romance, and my attention and my heart were totally captivated. Alice and Hunter are smartly crafted and nicely layered characters that connect quickly with you and have your heart just aching for them. The chemistry here is in my opinion, is a perfect balance of sparks and sweetness. Trust me when I tell you that the feels and emotions are mega. While I think you could read this book as a standalone, I highly recommend you read these books and in order. While each entry in this series focuses on its featured couple, there is an overarching story in play. So, characters reappear, and previous events are referenced. This book and this series are incredible and I for one cannot wait for book three. If you like your PNR with humor, action, danger, sizzle, heart and big twists, you must read this series.
I really enjoyed Hunter and Alice's story. It moved at a nice pace and was never boring. There was a good mixture of action and romance.
I can't wait for the next book in the series.
Hunter Evans used to risk his life as a firefighter until he died saving a child. But he was reborn as a vampire. Now Hunter spends his time getting used to his new life as a vampire. While he's out patrolling the city he runs into a beautiful woman who captivates him.
Alice Darlington is trying to capture a rescue when she meets Hunter. She's pretty sure he's a ghost. Until she finds that he's solid. When he follows her home it should freak her out but it doesn't. When she realizes out that her past might be catching up to her, she leans on Hunter, even though she thinks she shouldn't.
Hunter tries his best to keep his darker side at bay because he doesn't want to frighten Alice away. And she tries her best to show him that it doesn't scare her because he actually she's her.
Thanks so much to Entangled, the author and NetGalley for this ARC to review.
With lots of action, tons of laugh, and an interesting romance, I’m really enjoying this paranormal world and the cast of colorful characters that Alyssa Day has created in this series!
I absolutely loved Hunter and Alice. From their first meeting, or should I say Hunter’s first meeting with Marigold the raccoon, which leads to him meeting Alice, I knew this book was going to be a great read. There’s a lot of issues for these two to overcome, starting with Hunter’s newly turned into a vampire blood lust and Alice’s need to protect herself from her past, so they certainly had their work cut out for them. And when Alice’s past and the current threats to Hunter’s vampire family become intertwined, these two become the focal point for all sorts of danger.
My favorite part about this book (and the first book as well) was the laughter. There was such great dialogue that led to so many laugh out loud moments. Alyssa Day has found a way to layer the humor in perfectly to offset some of the darkness and danger while not going over the top and to be too campy.
This book can be read as a standalone, but I would recommend starting at the beginning since I think understanding some of the relationships between the supporting characters and some of the backstory would be helpful. I’m really enjoying this world and the lore that Alyssa Day has created and am looking forward to reading more stories set in it. There are so many great characters and I can’t wait to see who’s story is next! This is definitely one to check out!
New vampire Hunter have a problem -- he can't control his blood lust urges, but he's met the most beautiful woman. His new vampire brain scream "mine" but he has to keep it together because he's so afraid of hurting the woman he wants to claim for his own.
Alice Darlington is immediately drawn to the blue-eyed Hunter, even though she knows he's a vampire. She's not quite like other humans -- she can speak to and see ghosts and communicate with animals. She's special in many ways, and Bane and his band of vamps is very interested in Alice and so are other, more villainous groups.
When it turns out Alice is a target. Hunter must help keep Alice safe from old enemies. There's plenty of action as Alice and Hunter deal with all manner of supernatural beings out there.
But what I really enjoyed about this story is the relationship between Hunter and Alice. It's just so sweet and Hunter is so very protective. I just really loved these two together. And Charlie is a lot of fun too, but I'll keep that little spoiler to myself. And did I mention there are werewolves too? How about a hilarious paranormal volleyball match? All good fun.
I really like this series. It combines a paranormal world with the motorcycle club theme nicely. It's romantic and a lot of fun. And has two of the hottest covers I've seen this year.
A complementary copy was provided by the publisher for review.
Paranormal and motorcycle romances aren't ones I often pick up, but I liked the first book in this series a lot. I was looking forward to the next book and Hunter's Hope does not disappoint.
Hunter and Alice were both interesting characters with lots of chemistry and a strong connection. He struggles with his new life as a vampire and she has a secret power that puts her in danger. The suspense and action kept the story moving at a nice pace, but didn't overpower the romance. I thought they were nicely balanced and made for an engaging and entertaining read.
I hope there's more to come from this series and I am looking forward to reading more of Alyssa Day's books!
Liked even better than the first one!
I think the romance between the characters this time around was really well done. I couldn’t help but swoon!
Alice and Hunter were so sweet and adorable! Hopefully they show up in future books so we can get little snippets and updates.
The plot unfolds at a decent pace and the other characters are interesting and fun.
Would definitely recommend to a paranormal romance lover.
4/5 stars!
When the hero met the heroine, they met under different circumstances. The heroine fascinated the hero, who became a vampire, as she told him she's a ghost whisperer. Their interactions brought danger to the heroine, as the hero is being watched by the villains that has appeared in the first novel of this series. Neither thought that her past and his present are interconnected, but as danger looms over both, the two became closer.
This is the second book in the Vampire Motorcycle Club series. I really enjoyed reading this book about a cinnamon roll beta hero and the traumatized heroine survivor who connected with each other in many ways. I enjoyed the secondary characters that surrounded the couple. I didn't like a certain aspect of the vampirism but it didn't detract my enjoyment of reading the book. This book also needed some more details that is a personal preference of mine. Overall, a really solid addition to the series and looking forward to reading more Alyssa Day books in the future.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.**
I find Alyssa frustrating as an author. She often gives deadlines that she does not meet due to health problems and there is one book Treasure which is still not published I think because it was dropped from the publisher..
Her books are always a good read, I often think they are overpriced for the length of them though.
Good characters, interesting storyline what more do you need.
